Once your chosen character has reappeared on the screen (the level of difficulty that you'd chosen for the Championship again determines their position on the starting grid), a set of three starting candles will drop down into view from the top of the screen; once all three of them have lit up (the first two will light up orange, but the third lights up green), you will have to accelerate your chosen character's car, turn to the right to drive up the castle's drawbridge into its hall, and collect one of four weapon pickups. You shall then have to turn to the right into the castle's bedroom to collect three boost pickups - and once you have done so, you shall have to turn to the left to collect three more boost pickups and one of three more weapon pickups (if you have already fired the first one, and once you've accumulated six boost pickups you shall have to use at least one of your existing ones up before you can collect any more). You shall then have to turn to the left into the castle's armoury to collect one of three more weapon pickups (if you have already fired the second one); once you have done so, you shall have to turn to the right, turn to the left to drive up a staircase, turn to the right, and turn to the left to collect four more boost pickups. You will now have to turn to the right into the castle's dining room to collect a maximum of six of seven more boost pickups, driving through a cackling spectre as you do so - and once you have done so you shall have to turn to the right to collect one of three more weapon pickups (if you had already fired the third one). You shall then have to turn to the left onto the castle's battlements to collect a maximum of six of eight more boost pickups and one of four more weapon pickups (if you've already fired the fourth one); once you have done so you shall have to turn to the right to drive down a second staircase and collect four more boost pickups. You shall then have to collect six more boost pickups and drive down a third staircase to collect one of three more weapon pickups (if you have already fired the fifth one) - and once you have done so you will have to turn to the left to collect three more boost pickups and one of three more weapon pickups (if you have already fired that sixth one). You'll then have to turn to the left again into the castle's dungeon, and turn to the right to collect six more boost pickups; once you do so, the speed of your chosen character's car will immediately increase to 80mph as it power-jumps over the castle's moat. Once it has landed, you will have to collect one of four more weapon pickups (if you have already fired the seventh one) - and once you have done so you shall have to turn to the right to collect a maximum of six of eight more boost pickups. You'll now have to turn to the right and drive under the starting banner to complete a lap of the track; once you've completed four laps of the track, the words "FINAL" and "LAP" will fly into view from the left and right sides of the screen. Once you've completed a fifth lap of the track, the words "RACE" and "OVER" will fly into view from the left and right sides of the screen (which will then fade to black for a fifth and penultimate occasion in the game).

The characters' positions and times shall then be displayed on the screen, in front of the winner (regardless of whether it was your chosen character or not) automatically taking a victory lap around the track while the camera is rotating clockwise around them; if you finished either first, second or third, a revolving first-, second-, or third-place trophy shall be displayed to the right of the results. Once you have clicked "CONTINUE" or pushed Enter, the Championship Standings shall be displayed on the screen - and you will receive 10 points if you finished first, 8 if you finished second, 6 if you finished third, 5 if you finished fourth, 4 if you finished fifth, 3 if you finished sixth, 2 if you finished seventh, and 1 if you finished eighth, ninth or tenth. Once you have clicked "CONTINUE" or pushed Enter a second time, the game shall proceed to Wild West Test; refer to the Wild in the Country page for what happens if you click "DONE" on the Standings screen of a track that's not Wild West Test, along with gameplay for Single Race and Time Trial modes.
