Once your chosen character has reappeared on the screen (the level of difficulty that you'd chosen for the Championship again determines their position on the starting grid), a set of three starting lights (the first two are orange, but the third is green) will drop down into view from the top of the screen; once all three of them have lit up, you will have to accelerate your chosen character's car, drive over two speed bumps, and either turn to the left into the back lane or stay on the main street to collect one of four weapon pickups (however, it's better to be armed in case you should be stunned or overtaken). You shall now have to turn to the left, to collect a maximum of six boost pickups and one of four more weapon pickups (if you have already fired the first one) - and once you have done so, you will either have to turn to the left into the back lane and turn to the right to continue down it, or stay on the main street and turn to the left to continue on it and collect a maximum of six more boost pickups (if you have chosen to take the back lane, you may also turn to the right onto the main street and turn to the left to continue down it when you come to the side road, and by the time you've accumulated six boost pickups, you will have to use at least one of your existing ones up before you can collect any more of them). Once you have come to the point where both routes meet, you shall (after driving over two more speed bumps and turning to the right if you had either chosen to take that main street, or switched to it after coming to the side road) have to collect one of four more weapon pickups (if you have already fired that second one); once you have done, so you have to turn to the left in order to collect a maximum of six of eight more boost pickups. You will then have to turn to the right around a roundabout in order to collect one of four more weapon pickups (if you have already fired the third one) - and after you have done this, you will have to turn to the left and drive back off the roundabout to collect a maximum of four more boost pickups (but if armed and maximum-boosted, you can skip the roundabout), then drive onto the Beanotown Golf Course (which features their national monument, "Mount Bashmore", a cliff that has the faces of Wilfrid, Plug, and Danny from The Bash Street Kids carved into it) and collect a maximum of six more boost pickups. You shall now have to drive over a bridge and collect one of four more weapon pickups (if you have already fired the fourth one); once you have done so, you shall have to drive over another bridge, turn to the left and turn to the right to collect a maximum of six more boost pickups. You now have to drive over a third bridge to collect one of four more weapon pickups - and once you have done so you will have to turn to the right to collect a maximum of six more boost pickups. You will now have to turn to the right, then turn to the left and drive under the starting banner in order to complete a lap of the track - and after you have completed four laps of the track the words "FINAL" and "LAP" shall fly into view from the left and right sides of the screen. Once you have completed a fifth lap of the track the words "RACE" and "OVER" will fly into view from the left and right sides of the screen, which will then fade to black for a third time; the Championship's also now half-over.

The characters' positions and times shall then be displayed on the screen in front of the winner (regardless of whether it was your chosen character or not) automatically taking a victory lap around the track while the camera is rotating clockwise around them; if you finished either first, second or third a revolving first-, second- or third-place trophy shall be displayed to the right of the results. Once you have clicked "CONTINUE" or pushed Enter, the Championship Standings will get displayed on the screen - and you will receive 10 points if you finished first, 8 if you finished second, 6 if you finished third, 5 if you finished fourth, 4 if you finished fifth, 3 if you finished sixth, 2 if you finished seventh and 1 if you finished eighth, ninth or tenth. Once you have clicked "CONTINUE" or pushed Enter a second time the game will proceed to The Dandy Dash; refer to the Wild in the Country page for what happens if you click "DONE" on the Standings screen of a track that's not Wild West Test, along with gameplay for Single Race and Time Trial modes.
