Area 1[edit]

Once the Star Fighter has reappeared at the bottom of the screen (at its original size again), a Type 1 Meteor, a Type 2 Meteor and two Type 3 Meteors (which are similar to the Asteroids from the original Bosconian arcade game), will come flying down towards you, from the top of the screen; once you've fired enough red shots at each of them to kill them, they'll explode into three pieces of shrapnel which you must destroy if you wish to stay alive. Another Type 1 Meteor and a second Type 2 Meteor will then come flying down towards you from the top of the screen - and once you've fired enough red shots at both of these to kill them, they will explode into three pieces of shrapnel which must be destroyed if you wish to stay alive. Two more Type 1 Meteors, a third Type 2 Meteor, and a third Type 3 Meteor will then come flying down towards you, from the top of the screen; once you've fired enough red shots at them to kill them, they will explode into three pieces of shrapnel which must be destroyed if you wish to stay alive. A fifth Type 1 Meteor and two more Type 2 Meteors will then come flying down towards you from the top of the screen, as a group of four Kurage comes zigzagging down towards you upon the left side of the screen - and once you have fired enough red shots at each of them to kill them, the Meteors will explode into three pieces of shrapnel which must be destroyed to stay alive. Four more Type 1 Meteors, a sixth Type 2 Meteor and a fourth Type 3 Meteor will now fly down towards you from the top of the screen as another group of four Kurage comes zigzagging down towards you on the right side of the screen; once you've fired enough red shots at all of them to kill them, the Meteors will explode into three pieces of shrapnel which you must destroy if you wish to stay alive. Two more Type 1 Meteors, three more Type 2 Meteors, and three more Type 3 Meteors will then come flying down towards you from the top of the screen as a third group of four Kurage comes zigzagging down towards you in the centre of the screen; once you fire enough red shots at each of them to kill them, the Meteors will explode into three pieces of shrapnel, which must be destroyed if you wish to stay alive. A Spy Ship from the original Bosconian will then come flying down on the right side of the screen, fly to the left once it has reached the bottom and fly back away off the top of the screen once it has reached the left side - and if you fail to fire enough red shots at it to kill it before it does so, a Cosmo-Mine from the original Bosconian arcade game will come down over the Star Fighter's current position on the screen, then explode into eight pieces of shrapnel which must be destroyed if you wish to stay alive. Four more Type 2 Meteors and an eighth Type 3 Meteor will then come flying down towards you from the top of the screen; once you fire enough red shots at each of them to kill them, they will explode into three pieces of shrapnel, which must be destroyed if you wish to stay alive. Another Spy Ship from the original Bosconian will then come flying down on the right side of the screen, fly to the left once it's reached the bottom, then fly back up off the top of the screen once it has reached the left side - and as with the first one, if you do not fire enough red shots at it to kill it before it does so, a second Cosmo-Mine from the Bosconian arcade game will come down over the Star Fighter's current position on the screen and explode into eight more pieces of shrapnel which must be destroyed if you wish to stay alive. A ninth Type 3 Meteor will then come flying down towards you, from the top of the screen; once you've fired enough red shots at it to kill it, it will explode into three pieces of shrapnel which must be destroyed if you wish to stay alive. Four more Type 1 Meteors, three more Type 2 Meteors and three more Type 3 Meteors will then fly down towards you from the top of the screen - and once you have fired enough red shots at each of them to kill them they will explode into three pieces of shrapnel which must be destroyed if you wish to stay alive. A sixteenth Type 1 Meteor and two more Type 2 Meteors will then fly down towards you from the top of the screen, as this fourth group of four Kurage comes zigzagging towards you on the left side of the screen; once you have fired enough red shots at each of them to kill them, the Meteors will explode into three pieces of shrapnel (which must be destroyed if you wish to stay alive). Four more Type 1 Meteors, a nineteenth Type 2 Meteor and a thirteenth Type 3 Meteor will then come flying down towards you from the top of the screen, as a fifth group of four Kurage comes zigzagging towards you from that right side of the screen - and once you've fired enough red shots at each of these to kill them, the Meteors will explode into three pieces of shrapnel, which must be destroyed, if you want to stay alive. Two more Type 1 Meteors, three more Type 2 Meteors, and three more Type 3 Meteors will then come flying down towards you from the top of the screen, as a sixth group of four Kurage comes zigzagging towards you in the centre of the screen; once you have fired enough red shots at each of them to kill them, the Meteors will explode into three pieces of shrapnel, which must be destroyed if you wish to stay alive. Four Big Bae will then approach you from the top of the screen, fire three bullets south-west, south-east, and directly ahead of themselves at you after they have seen you, and retreat off the bottom of the screen - and once you fire enough red shots at all of them to kill them, four more Type 1 Meteors will come flying down towards you from the top of the screen. Once you've fired enough red shots at all of them to kill them they will explode into three pieces of shrapnel (which must be destroyed if you want to stay alive); three more Type 1 Meteors and a twenty-third Type 2 Meteor will then fly down towards you from the top of the screen. Once you've fired enough red shots at each of them to kill them they will explode into three pieces of shrapnel which must be destroyed if you wish to stay alive - as a thirtieth Type 1 Meteor, a twenty-fourth Type 2 Meteor, and four more Type 3 Meteors will now come flying down towards you, from the top of the screen. Once you've fired enough red shots at each of them to kill them, they will explode into three pieces of shrapnel, which must be destroyed if you wish to stay alive; three more Type 1 Meteors, two more Type 2 Meteors, and a twenty-first Type 3 Meteor will then come flying down towards you from the top of the screen. Once you have fired enough red shots at each of them to kill them, they will explode into three pieces of shrapnel, which must be destroyed if you want to stay alive - three more Type 1 Meteors, two more Type 2 Meteors and a twenty-second Type 3 Meteor will then come flying down towards you from the top of the screen as a seventh group of four Kurage comes zigzagging towards you on the left side of the screen. Once you've fired enough red shots at all of these, to kill them, the Meteors will explode into three pieces of shrapnel which you must destroy if you wish to stay alive; four more Big Bae will then approach you from the top of the screen, fire three bullets south-west, south-east and directly ahead of themselves at you once they've seen you, and retreat off the bottom of the screen as four more Type 1 Meteors come flying down towards you, from the top of the screen. Once you have fired enough red shots at each of them to kill them, the Meteors will explode into three pieces of shrapnel which you must destroy if you wish to stay alive, and the background will scrolling down toward the world's space base as two more Type 1 Meteors and a twenty-ninth Type 2 Meteor come flying down towards you from the top of the screen. Once you fire enough red shots at each of these to kill them, they'll explode into three pieces of shrapnel, which you must destroy if you want to stay alive - and once you've destroyed these three last pieces of shrapnel, the Star Fighter will proceed to this world's second area. The base is also like a giant blue Bosconian enemy base.

Area 2[edit]

Once the Star Fighter has reappeared at the bottom of the screen, switch to your yellow firing pattern, as twenty Green E-Type Missiles (which, like the original E-Type Missiles, are also from the Bosconian arcade game), come flying down from the top of the screen, and close in on the Star Fighter once they have reached its level, in a manner similar to that of the Choucho; once you have fired a yellow shot at each of them to kill them, switch back to the red firing pattern as you come up to a formation of two Beam Launchers, a single No Launcher, and two Blue Missile Launchers which are guarding the entrance to this world's space base. Not only will you have another chance to destroy the "No" that the No Launcher will be firing at you for extra points, but you'll also have the chance to destroy the "Missiles" that the Blue Missile Launchers will be firing at you for 50 extra points apiece as well - however, it is again advisable to keep moving around the screen in order to avoid being overwhelmed by the "No" along with the "Missiles" and the double-bullets that the Beam Launchers will be firing at you. Once you have fired off enough red shots at the two Beam Launchers, the No Launcher, and the two Blue Missile Launchers to kill them, the Star Fighter will proceed onto the world's third and final area and undergo what is another significant increase in size.

Area 3[edit]

Once the Star Fighter has reappeared at the bottom of the screen (at its larger size again), you'll come to a vertically-orientated indestructible microchip-like object on the right side of the screen, with two Red Beam Guns firing double-bullets at you above it; once you have fired enough red shots at both of the Red Beam Guns to kill them and flown around that indestructible microchip-like object, you'll come to two more Red Beam Guns firing double-bullets at you and a horizontally-orientated indestructible microchip-like object on the left side of the screen. Once you have fired off enough red shots at both of the Red Beam Guns to kill them and flown around that indestructible microchip-like object, you will come to another horizontally-orientated indestructible microchip-like object in the centre of the screen, with two Blue Beam Guns firing double-bullets at you on either side of it - and once you've fired enough red shots at both of the Blue Beam Guns to kill them and then flown around the indestructible microchip-like object, you will come to two more vertically-orientated indestructible microchip-like objects (with three more Blue Beam Guns firing double-bullets at you above them). Once you've fired off enough red shots at each of the Blue Beam Guns to kill them and flown through the gap between the two indestructible microchip-like objects you will come to a fourth vertically-orientated indestructible microchip-like object in the centre of the screen that has four Light Blue Beam Guns firing double-bullets at you above it; once you've fired enough red shots at each of the Light Blue Beam Guns to kill them, and flown around the indestructible microchip-like object, switch to that yellow firing pattern, as you come to four more horizontally-orientated indestructible microchip-like objects on the alternating left and right sides of the screen, with four more Red Beam Guns firing double-bullets at you from their position above the second one and below the third one. Once you have fired enough yellow shots at each of the Red Beam Guns to kill them and flown your way around the four indestructible microchip-like objects, you'll come to two more horizontally-orientated indestructible microchip-like objects on the left and right sides of the screen, with three more Blue Beam Guns firing double-bullets at you from their positions below the second one (in the gap between them both and above the first one) - and once you have fired enough yellow shots at each of the Blue Beam Guns to kill them and passed through the gap between the two indestructible microchip-like objects switch back to the red firing pattern, as you'll come to a fifth vertically-orientated indestructible microchip-like object in the centre of the screen with four more Light Blue Beam Guns firing double-bullets at you above it. Once you've fired enough red shots at each of the Light Blue Beam Guns, to kill them, and flown around the indestructible microchip-like object you will come up to two more horizontally-orientated microchip-like objects on the left and right sides of the screen; once you have passed through the gap between them, you will come to a thirteenth horizontally-orientated indestructible microchip-like object in the centre of the screen with two more Blue Beam Guns firing double-bullets at you on either side of it. Once you've fired enough red shots at each of the Blue Beam Guns to kill them and flown your way around the indestructible microchip-like object, you will come up to two more Blue Beam Guns which are firing double-bullets at you in the centre of the screen - and once you have fired enough red shots at both of them to kill them the "boss" theme will start to be heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 for the second time and the world's boss character will come down from the top of the screen as its two protective cannons emerge from the nearby trapdoors on the left and right sides of the screen. The boss will then begin moving to the left (and to the right once it reaches the left side of the screen) above you while it fires two purple balls directly ahead of itself at you, and its two protective cannons start firing slow-moving projectiles at you; once you have fired enough red shots at both of the protective cannons to kill them, the boss will stop firing for a few seconds, and this once again gives you a chance to destroy the three shielding devices that are circling around it before it starts firing again. Once you have fired enough red shots at the boss itself to kill it (once again, it changes its colour from blue to yellow to red when hit), any of its balls that were currently on screen will explode, and the Star Fighter will proceed to escape from the space base just before it blows up and travel on to the next world - and you will then receive a 20000-point bonus, for destroying this world's space base. The Star Fighter will also again be returned to its original size just before the next time it reappears at the bottom of the screen at the start of World 3; the space base of that world looks like the original Bosconian bases.
