The Next Piece[edit]
When you first enter Krom's Canyon, you will see two vending machines at the starting area. There are two branches; the one to the left leads to Krom, while the one on the right leads to the sidequests that you can perform within this region. If desired, you can return later to complete them.
When approaching Krom, you will have to pass through the canyon guarded by various raiders.
As you enter the main base, you will see a cutscene showing Krom destroying a CL4P-TP unit. He is located at the far end of the base across several bridges leading from raider platform to platform. Krom is stationed within a turret in the fortified area of his base. You can either defeat him using a long range attack, or by entering his main fortification and out-running the turning speed of the turret.
When he is killed, you can retrieve the vault key piece from the chest behind him.
Side quests[edit]
Two wrongs make a right[edit]
A mission in new Havel requests that you assassinate Reaver located in Krom's Canyon.
When you kill him, he will drop the Reaver's Edge, a unique sniper rifle.
Claptrap Rescue[edit]
In the south-west corner of the eastern base, find the claptrap. Proceed onward through this base, but as soon as you cross the next bridge, look to the left. The repair kit is supsended from a tower that can be reached by jumping across the roofs of some buildings.
This claptrap will also reveal a hidden weapon crate.
Weapon Crates[edit]
- One on the western bridge overlooking the starting location.
- One revealed by claptrap.
- One at the end of the eastern base loop.
- One in the tunnel leading to Krom. This is the first leftern-most tunnel.
- One in Krom's Base, on approach to the turret.
- One behind Krom's Turret. There is a second chest containing a quest item.
- One is in the north-east base, just before the drop.
