In this game, there are many things you can do to unlock tracks and cars.

Championship[edit]

In this mode, you need to complete the requirements to unlock more tracks and complete the section. Here's a quick breakdown.

  • Journeyman's Grand Prix: Interstate (3rd), Harbor Town (3rd), River City (2nd).
  • Big Run Grand Prix: Hillside Pass (3rd), Twilight Harbor (2nd), Gridlock USA (1st).
  • Euro Marathon.
  • Savage Streets Marathon: Night Shift (2nd), Cliffhanger (2nd), Midnight Run (1st).
  • Twilight Grand Prix: Rush Hour, Country Chaos, Sunset River. All required 1st place.
  • USA Marathon.

The brackets are there to give you what position you need to overcome. If you go below the requirements, you have to start over. If you use up three credits, you have to start the grand prix all over again.

Vehicle selection[edit]

There are cars that should be simple to use but can affect the difficulty that you'll be in. If you are a beginner, you should choose "Supermini" since it's the only car you can use but if you're tough, you can take a "Sports Coupe" which is on medium difficulty. The car you choose will affect all the modes involving computers.

  • Supermini (Easy): 130mph. Boost to 141mph.
  • Sports Coupe (Medium): 134mph. Boost to 141mph.
  • Saloon (Medium): 131mph. Boost to 141mph.
  • Muscle (Hard): 135mph. Boost to 149mph.
  • Pickup (Hard): 130mph. Boost to 141mph.

Cars you unlock after beating Face Off.

  • Roadster (Medium): 133mph. Boost to 141mph.
  • Saloon GT (Hard): 135mph. Boost to 149mph.
  • Tow Truck (Special): 134mph. Boost to 143mph.
  • Bus (Special): 125mph. Boost to 141mph.

Face Off[edit]

To unlock the two cars and two heavy vehicles, you'll have a one on one match with the computer. The only way to do it is to finish first to unlock the vehicles you are competing with.

  • Twilight Harbor: Roadster.
  • Rush Hour: Tow Truck.
  • Night Shift: Saloon GT.
  • Midnight Run: Bus.
