You begin your quest outside the castle door. Grab the yellow key which is waiting for you right outside the door, and enter the castle. Jump on to the ledge above the green door, and collect the cross if you wish. Your first test will be to jump to the left, onto the platform with the Knight. Be careful because he will fire an arrow at you if he spots you. If you land right behind him, you can kill him with your dagger when he turns around. Collect the light blue key at the end of the ledge, and return to the right to open the light blue door.
Jump over the gap and over the the bricks. If you push the bricks onto the conveyor belt, you can easily collect the extra life potion, but you'll have to leave and reenter the room to reposition the brick. Jump from the brick's original position to the ledge on the right. Collect the yellow key waiting there, and then jump one ledge higher. Open the top yellow door.
A fighter starts out on the top platform. He will walk to the right and get stuck on the stairs. As long as you don't jump, neither will he. Walk up to him and stab him to clear him out of the way. Collect the yellow key on the top, and the pink key along the drop. The walk to the right, and use the staircase to climb back to the top. Return to the previous room.
Drop down to the bottom floor that the Bishop patrols. Time your fall to the bottom when the Bishop is returning to the right. Then stand by the left side of the alley where the ceiling get higher. Wait for the Bishop to double back, and jump over him while leaping through the section with the raised ceiling. Continue to the right and open the yellow door.
From the entrance, jump up and collect the light blue key. Then jump aboard the small elevator. Ride it until you can push the bricks to the left. Jump over the bricks, and collect the yellow key. Then jump on the elevator and ride it back down to the bottom. Return to the previous room through the open door.
Repeat the process of jumping over the Bishop across the raised ceiling section, and jump out from the gap to the floor above. Climb up to the top and cross the small platforms near the ceiling (collecting crosses as you go) until you can leap to the large elevator on the left side. Ride the elevator all the way to the top and to the room above.
Open the light blue door, and collect the yellow key. Then push the block to the left and use it to climb to the Witch's level. Stab the witch to remove her, but watch out for any enemies that she may have summoned. Jump over the gap and collect the yellow key. Then drop down the gap and push left so that you land on the block. Drop down the left side of the block. Collect the light blue key and wait for the Knight to get close and push the block over him to clear him out. Use the block to jump out of the gap, and return to the left. Pass through the lower yellow door.
Jump up and collect the two rings if you like, avoiding the Bishop. Then drop down to the light blue door. Open it and drop to the room below.
As you drop from the ceiling, you can land on the top ledge to the right. It's not necessary, but for some bonus points, you can collect the two rings here, as well as the two money bags to the left, guarded by a Knight. When you are prepared, jump down to the yellow door on the right, protecting the map. Open the door and collect the map. Now you must carefully time a jump to the left in order to collect the yellow and green keys protected by the Bishop. You can't attack the Bishop, so all you can do is time your jump so that you land as close to him as you can, and turn around as soon as the last key is collected. When you have both keys, drop down to the green door. Open the door and drop to the room below.
When you arrive, stay along the top, and push the jar to the left so that it falls onto the large elevator below. Collect the yellow key while you're there, and jump down onto the elevator so that you land to the left of the jar. When the elevator is even with the top platform, push the jar back to the right. Bring it to the gap, but don't push it until you are sure that when it drops, it will land on, and crush, the Bishop below. If you succeed, drop down and open the top yellow door on the right.
From the entrance, jump up and back to the left to collect the two blue keys you find here. Attempting to collect one of the extra life potions here is riskier than it's worth. Instead, return to the previous room through the open door.
Now you must return to the elevator, and actually duck underneath the platform so that you can access the room below. The easiest thing to do from the door you returned through, is to jump up to the top platforms and access the elevator from above. If, however, you accidentally wind up on the bottom floor, you can escape from the situation by arranging the blocks in the manner shown to the right. Move the two floor blocks into position first, and then push the top block down onto the floor blocks, and over to the left. Then you can jump and reach the ledge next to the elevator.
When you land on the elevator, jump up to the top pathway. Fall down to the right of the first block, and climb over the second block. Push the second block left until it falls into the pit below. Then return to the right and jump over the third block. Fall down to its right, collecting the oxygen tank in the process. The music will change, indicating that you can breath underwater. Push the third block into the same pit as the second, so that you can push the first block aside and collect the light blue key. Then dive into the water and return to the right to open the lower light blue door.
You'll need to move fast here in order not to run out of oxygen before it's too late. First, jump up to the left and out of the water to collect the green key up above. Then immediately return to the water and cross over to the right. Jump up to the right and out of the water again. Jump over the little structure, collecting the rings and cross along the way (but don't make collecting them your priority) until you land to the left of a yellow door. Open the door and collect the green key on the other side. Then drop back down into the water and open the lower green door.
Jump up and out of the water before the oxygen tank expires. All you need to do in this room is cross over to the right, and exit through the lower green door when the large elevator lines you up with it.
Before going on, please make sure that you possess 2 light blue keys, 1 yellow key, and 1 pink key.
Collect the bags of money as you enter the room. Then jump over the barrier. Wait on the right side of the barrier until it stops moving. Watch out for the Fighter who has a tendency to drop down and attack you. Stab him to remove him. Then wait for both Bishops below to be to the left of you. Fall down, walk to the right, and jump up the ledge, so that you can push the bricks on to the barrier. Once the barrier stops moving again, the bricks will fall, and block the Bishops in to the right. Fall down to the left (be careful of the spikes) and collect the yellow key and two extra life potions. Wait for the barrier to stop again, and use the bricks to jump up above the barrier. Jump up to the large elevator and run to the left to collect the yellow key in front of the pink door. Then return to the elevator and ride it all the way to the room above.
First, open the yellow door to your left and collect the pink key. Next jump up to the ledge with the Knight and the barrel. Use the barrel to kill the Knight, but don't push it next to the wall. Collect the light blue key. Next, push the barrel back to the right and use it as a platform to reach the green key locked behind the light blue door. Collect the green key. Now you need to reset the barrel so that you can move it back to the left. Drop down to the room below, and ride the elevator back up to reset the room. Push the barrel below the gap, and jump up to the green door to collect the dark blue key beyond. Finally, return to the right and open the middle yellow door.
Do nothing more than collect the pink key here, and return to the previous room. When you have returned, drop down to the room below so that you are back in the room from Step 16.
Your only goal now is to reach the yellow door in the lower right. Wait for the barrier to stop, and drop to the right of the Bishops if they still remain. Open the yellow door on the right.
Enter the room by opening the dark blue door. (You can collect the extra life potion and money bag when the moving platform is out of the way.) Then proceed to open the two pink doors on the bottom. Once you're on the other side, collect the two dark blue keys and extra life (again, when the moving platform is safely out of the way.) Then open the final pink door on the right.
This room can be quite difficult for beginners, as there are two difficult tasks. The first one is collecting the yellow and green keys from the ledge occupied by the Knight. You do not have to put yourself in a position where you must stab the Knight; you can just as easily jump over him and stay a safe distance from him. Once you have both keys, the second difficult task is to reach the green door in the lower right corner beyond the Bishops. Drop down to the bottom section, but do not fall down the gap until both Bishops are moving to the right. Then follow them until you get as far as the gap in the spikes overhead. Stand beneath the gap and use it to jump over both Bishops as they approach you. When they have both passed, open the door to the right and proceed to the next room.
Before going on, please make sure that you possess 2 dark blue keys, 2 light blue keys, and 1 yellow key.
Upon entering the room, jump up to the left side of the jar, and push it on to the first large elevator, and the on to the second. Ultimately, you must push it over to the right side of the small platform beyond the elevators so that it hangs off the edge of the platform, as shown to the right. Once it is in place, jump on top of the jar. It is important to make a clean jump to the right, onto the ledge with the block. From there, you must jump up to the ledge with the Bishop (collecting the extra life potion if you wish.) Once again, you must follow close behind the Bishop until you are lined up with the gap overhead. Use the gap to jump over the Bishop when he returns to the left, then proceed to the right and fall down to the level with the extra life potion. From there, fall down when you can safely avoid the Fighter, and open the yellow door in the lower corner.
This room is the first room that requires a lot of setup work to complete properly. This room requires a lot of patience and a steady hand, as even the slightest misstep in half a box direction may require you to reset the entire room and start all over again. The ultimate goal is to end up with three blocks stacked below the light blue door on the right. In order to do that, you'll need to make use of the lift.
- Step a: Start out by pushing the block to the right of the small elevator left so that it can serve as a platform for the blocks up above.
- Step b: Then jump up to the large elevator platform, and push the pulley block a good distance to the right, but not all the way to the edge of the platform (or you won't be able to push it back).
- Step c: With the lift fully lowered, you can push the block to the right of the lift on to the lift. Then jump up to the right side of the pulley block and push it left so that the lift rises to the top.
- Step d: With the lift at the top, push the block to the right off the ledge. With the lift out of the way, you are free to collect the light blue and yellow keys. Now you must repeat the process with two of the high blocks on the left. Push them on to the lift, and use the lift to bring them to the top, and off to the right. Once three blocks are stacked up, you can reach the door and pass through it.
After all of that hard work, all that you're going to do here is push the jar slightly over to the right so that it hangs off the ledge, and drop down to collect the yellow and green keys. When the Knight is returning to the right and the coast is clear, jump up to the ledge above and jump back over to the left and land on the jar. Return to the previous room.
All that is necessary now is to jump aboard the large elevator, and ride it up to the room above.
