Atelier (のアトリエ?) is a long-running series of Japanese RPGs centering around alchemy and item-crafting. The series often uses stylized 2D character graphics and a blend of traditional gameplay and story-telling.

All games were developed and published by Gust unless otherwise noted. Some games have many versions on different systems; only the first release is listed here. The Atelier Iris games and Mana Khemia games have been published or announced for release in the US by NIS America.

Mana Khemia[edit]

Mana Khemia (マナケミア?) is a series of RPGs developed by Gust and published in the US by NIS America. The series is a spiritual successor to the Atelier Iris series, with the first two games referred to as Project A9 and Project A10.

The games focus on the students of a school of alchemy (Al-Revis Academy). The gameplay involves collecting recipes and ingredients to produce items through alchemy, which also allows the characters to increase their skills and abilities.
