Games in the Toy Story series are based on the 1995 animated movie of the same name. The games use Woody and Buzz Lightyear as main characters, with other characters from the movie also included. The first game follows the plot of the movie, while the sequel creates its own story. The latter two games, a racing game and a shooter, are fairly generic and simply use the characters as motivation for fans to buy the games. Disney Interactive and Activision publish the games, and, except for Toy Story Mania!, they are developed by Traveller's Tales.
