Yo-kai Watch is a series of role-playing games developed by Level-5 and published by Level-5 and Nintendo. The series follows the adventures of Nate Adams, an 11-year-old boy who obtains a mysterious watch that allows him to see Yo-kai, invisible beings with a tendency to meddle with the world around them. Major Yo-kai include Whisper, a self-proclaimed "Yo-kai Butler", and Jibanyan, a red cat-like creature who loves chocolate. The series contains four mainline entries released between 2013 and 2019, alongside multiple spin-offs, films, anime series, and manga series.
