Go to the two crates on the side of the closed door and break them to get some crystals and the first Gobbo. Then jump onto the suspended platforms above the huge chasm near you. Watch out for the Dantini jumping from platform to platform and eliminate them with a swipe of the tail when they approach. On a collapsing platform you will find the blue crystal. Then reach the door on the inner wall of the chasm and enter.
Climb the suspended platforms above the quicksand. You will have to be quick, as many of them collapse. On one platform you will find a golden key and on another the red crystal. Go to the upper platform to find a chest containing the second Gobbo. Go down, being careful not to fall into the quicksand and exit through the door you entered. Go up, jumping on the platforms and reach the door with the padlock, which now, thanks to the key, you can open. Go in.
Ignore the cage on the right for now and jump to the platforms that leap out of the quicksand to the left. Timing is everything. Jump on top of the monkey bars ignoring the balloon, go through them and drop onto the small islet below them. Cling under the monkey bars and follow them to the end to find the green crystal and a silver key. Go back and land on the islet. Climb onto the collapsing platform in front of you, quickly turn 180 degrees and jump to hoist yourself back onto the monkey bars. Grab the balloon at the bottom to get back to the door. Open the cage to free the third Gobbo. At this point, go back all the way and exit through the door at the end.
There is a bonus area here, to access it, consult the relevant page. Use the jelly to climb onto the suspended crates above the quicksand (don't break them) and jump to the other side. You will now have to use one of the moving platforms that cross the precipice to reach the platform with the button. Press it to make platforms appear under the crates you just passed. Go back, use the jelly to climb on the crates and smash them. You will find five clear crystals, the yellow crystal and the fourth Gobbo. Go back and drop to the bottom of the precipice to the left. Enter the door.
Here you will have to jump on the elephant to cross the quicksand. When the elephant approaches the lower suspended platform, jump on it. Jump from platform to platform until you reach a button. Press it and jump back onto the elephant, being careful not to fall into the quicksand. At this point, you will have to reach the two suspended crates, thanks to the platforms that you have made appear. In one of them you will find the pink crystal and in the other the fifth Gobbo. Then exit where you entered. Use the moving platforms to get to the other side of the quicksand and enter the crystal door.
Now you will have to face a particular challenge against a ghost. It will always be like this, behind the crystal doors in the levels of this island. You will have to follow a path in a dark area, being careful not to fall off the track. Along the way you will find many clear crystals, which will also help you to identify the direction to follow. At the end of the path, you will find a silver key, which you will need to free the last Gobbo prisoner in the cage, which is nearby. However, a ghost will move along your path, making everything it touches disappear. If the ghost reaches a crystal before you, it will disappear and you will no longer be able to take it. You should therefore proceed as quickly as possible. If the ghost reaches the silver key at the end before you, it will be lost and you will not be able to free the Gobbo. A good tip, to make it easier to win these races, is not to worry too much about getting the crystals. This is because if the ghost does not find crystals in its path, it will move faster and pass you easily. The crystals are not worth as much as the silver key and the last Gobbo, so leave a lot of them on the path, to slow down the ghost. If you then realize that the ghost is about to win and you can't reach it anymore, you should sacrifice a life by jumping off the course, in order to reset the race. In fact, if the ghost reaches the silver key first, if you want to get all the Gobbos you will be forced to restart the level from the beginning.
Once inside, quickly turn left and follow the narrow path with quicksand on the sides. You will come to a crossroads almost immediately. The standard path, which the ghost will follow, would involve going straight; after having covered a ring you will return again to the crossroads, from the path to the left and you will have to go straight on. To ensure an easy victory, however, immediately turn right at the crossroads, to accumulate a huge advantage over the ghost. At this point, you can also afford to take all the crystals you find. The path is easy and straightforward, you just have to jump on a collapsing platform. At the bottom you will find the silver key and the cage with the Gobbo to be released on the left and the gong on the right. Grab the last Gobbo and hit the gong to complete the level.
