CB2 Green Hill Overhead Map.png
Best time: 1'51"765

Once your chosen cycle has appeared at the starting line (with up to three other CPU-controlled green ones), the numbers 3, 2, and 1 will appear on the screen, followed by the text "GO!"; you will then have to step on the gas pedal to accelerate your cycle, and turn to the left as you pass under a sign with an exclamation mark on it (which is built into a wall on the left side of the track), along with a building and a second wall on the right side of the track (the latter of which has a left-pointing arrow and a graffito of this game's name on it). Once you've done so, you shall have to turn to the right, then turn to the left as you pass under a second sign with a right-pointing arrow on it on the left side of the track - and you shall then have to turn to the right, and turn to the left as you pass under a third sign with a left-pointing arrow on it on the left side of the track (and under a bridge which has the text "CHECK POINT" on it). Once you have done so, the text "TIME EXTEND" will appear on the screen as your time is extended by twenty-three seconds; you will then have to turn to the right as you pass under a fourth sign which has a right-pointing arrow on it, then pass two more signs with right-pointing chevrons on them, a billboard for this game, and a seventh sign with a right-and-up-pointing arrow on it on the left side of the track, then drive into a tunnel. Once you have come out of the tunnel, you will have to turn to the right, as you pass under an eighth sign with a mountain on it (which is built into a third wall on the left side of the track), and pass a second billboard for this game on that same side of the track - and once you have done so, you will have to turn to the left as you pass five more billboards for Namco, Amusement Creator (that are on top of a fourth wall on the right side of the track), and a ninth sign with a left-pointing arrow on it on the left side of the track. Once you have done so, you will have to turn to the right, as you pass a wooden hut and eight more buildings (one of which is for the Japanese car dealer YSP Yokohama Minami, written with the Kanji YSP横浜南, while another one has a billboard for 1982's Xevious on it, a third one has both the name of this game and an image of Pac-Man in his "anthropomorphised" form on it, and a fourth one has the name of Namco's public relations magazine Nours on it) on both sides of the track, then pass under a tenth sign which has the text "NO PARKING ANY TIME" on it on the right side of the track (and under a second bridge which has the text "CHECK POINT" on it); the text "TIME EXTEND" will then appear on the screen, as your time is extended by eighteen more seconds and you complete a full lap of the track. Once you have completed between two and five laps of the track (depending on how the cabinet is set), the text on the second bridge is changed to "FINISH" - and once you have passed under it, your position will be displayed at the top of the screen with your total time and best lap time under it as your rider completes another full lap of the track. If your total time was less than 3'15"765 (solo play), or 3'12"765 (link play), the game will go into best-time mode; you must enter your initials upon the table by turning the handlebars left and right to select the letters then pushing the View Change Button to confirm them. Once you have done so, the text "GAME OVER" will appear on the screen and the game will go back into attract mode - and the next challenge is the Neo Yokohama track.
