Best time: 1'49"314

Once your chosen cycle has appeared at the starting line with up to three other CPU-controlled ones, the numbers 3, 2 and 1 shall appear on the screen followed by the text of "GO!"; you shall now have to step on the gas pedal to accelerate your bike then turn to the right as you pass under a flashing sign with a right-pointing arrow on it on the left side of the track and drive into a tunnel. Once you have done so, you will have to turn to the right again as you pass three more flashing signs with right-pointing arrows on them on the left side of the track - and once you have come out of the tunnel, you shall pass two more signs with left-and-up pointing arrows on them on the right side of the track, then pass under a bridge with a (non-flashing) Japanese road sign hanging from it. You will now have to turn to the left as you pass three more flashing signs with left-pointing arrows on them on the right side of the track, then turn to the right as you pass a billboard for the Japanese car dealer YSP Yokohama Minami (written in Kanji as YSP 横浜南) on the left side of the track, then turn to the right again as you pass a billboard for 1982's Xevious (which also has the text of "SALE" on it) on the same side of the track; once you have done so you shall have to turn to the left and pass under a bridge with the text "Cyber Cycles CHECK POINT" on it. The text "TIME EXTEND" will then appear on the screen as your time is extended by twenty-nine seconds and you pass an eighth flashing sign with a right-pointing arrow on it on the left side of the track then pass under a third bridge with two more (non-flashing) Japanese road signs hanging from it - and you will now have to turn to the right as you pass three more flashing signs with right-pointing arrows on them on the left side of the track. Once you have done so you shall have to turn to the left, as you pass eight more flashing signs with left-pointing arrows on them on the right side of the track; you'll then have to turn to the left again as you pass three more flashing signs with left-pointing arrows on them on the right side of the track (and under a billboard for 1991's Starblade). Once you've done so, you will have to turn to the right thrice more as you pass four more flashing signs with right-pointing arrows on them and another billboard for Starblade on the track's left side - and you'll then have to turn to the left as you pass three more flashing signs with left-pointing arrows on them on the right side of the track (and under a fourth bridge, with a fourth non-flashing Japanese road sign hanging from it). Once you have done this, you must turn to the right then turn to the left as you pass under a fifth bridge which has the text "Cyber Cycles CHECK POINT" on it; the text of "TIME EXTEND" will then appear on the screen again, as your time is extended by twenty-two more seconds, and you pass a billboard for Namco on the left side of the track (and under a sixth bridge with Hiragana/Kanji text Yōkoso Chūkamachi he ようこそ中華街へ, meaning "Welcome to Chinatown", on it).

You'll then have to turn to the right as you pass four more flashing signs with right-pointing arrows on them on the left side of the track, then pass under three more bridges with fifteen more non-flashing Japanese road signs hanging from them (one of which has an image of Pac-Man in anthropomorphic form on it, while two more of them are for Namco, another two more are for this game and a sixth one is for Xevious), pass a thirty-fourth flashing sign which has a right-pointing arrow on it on the left side of the track, and pass under a ninth bridge which has five more non-flashing Japanese road signs hanging from it; once you have done so you will have to turn to the right as you pass under four more bridges with twenty more non-flashing Japanese road signs hanging from them (two more of which have images of Pac-Man in anthropomorphised form on them, while three more are for Namco, and there is also a sixth one for Xevious, along with a seventh one for this game!), pass a thirty-fifth flashing sign with a left-and-up-pointing-arrow on it on the left side of the track, and drive into another tunnel. You will then have to turn to the left, turn to the right, and turn to the left as you come out of the tunnel - and once you've done so, you shall have to turn to the left again as you pass under a fourteenth bridge with the text of "Cyber Cycles CHECK POINT" on it. The text "TIME EXTEND" will appear on the screen once again, as your time is extended by twenty-three more seconds; you must then turn to the left once again as you pass four more flashing signs with right-pointing arrows on them on the left side of the track, then turn to the right as you pass under a fifteenth bridge with the text "Cyber Cycles CHECK POINT" on it. Once you've done so, the text "TIME EXTEND" will appear on the screen yet again, as your time is extended by eighteen more seconds - and you'll then have to turn to the right again as you pass three more flashing signs with right-pointing arrows on them on the track's left side then turn to the left as you pass seven more flashing signs with left-pointing arrows on them on the right side of the track, turn to the right as you pass five more flashing signs with right-pointing arrows on them on the left side of the track and drive into a third tunnel. Once you've come out of the tunnel, the text of "TIME EXTEND" will appear on the screen for a fifth time, as your time is extended by twenty-four more seconds and you complete a full lap of the track; once you have completed between one and five laps of the track (but when an arcade operator decides to set this track for a 1-lap race it means that you shall not actually have to complete any additional laps of it), your position will be displayed at the top of the screen with your total time and best lap time under it as your rider completes another full lap of the track. If your total time is less than 4'10"765 (solo play) or 4'08"765 (link play) the game shall go into best-time mode - and again, you must enter your initials through turning the handlebars left and right to select the letters then pressing the View Change Button to confirm them. The text "GAME OVER" will then appear on the screen, and the game will go back into attract mode; Namco's next motorcycle-racing arcade game would be Prop Cycle in 1996.
