Once you have opened the app of BBC Media Applications Technologies's 2017 platform game Danger Mouse Ultimate on your iPhone or iPad, you will be greeted with the title screen shown above (which is identical to that of the original 2015 Macromedia Flash version); tapping the speaker button in the top-right toggles the sound on and off, while tapping that gear button to its right will allow you to toggle the game's background motion effects on and off. Tapping the "Achievements" button in the bottom-left opens the game's list of achievements (the stars to the left of those you have attained will be lit up, but those you have not attained shall have a percentage to their right indicating how close you are to doing so) while tapping the "How to play" button in the bottom-right opens seven tips on playing the game - and once you tap the play-symbol button, the game shall proceed to the episode select screen.
Tap the left and right arrow buttons on the left and right sides of the screen to scroll through the game's five episodes Learning the Ropes (featuring the new Professor Squarkencluck, a Scottish hen who is the niece of the original series' German mole Professor Heinrich Von Squarkencluck), Danger Mouse Saves the Day (featuring Baron Silas Greenback, Dr. Loocifer the defective robotic toilet and Isambard King Kong Brunel the time-travelling chimpanzee), Danger Mouse Returns (featuring Pink Dawn and Danger Fan), Danger Mouse Ultimate (featuring Megahurtz and a Space Bee), and Danger Mouse Ultimate-er (featuring Pom-Pom the Bozorian clown and The Weevil Queen), then tap one of the episodes to select it and proceed to its chapter select screen; however, episodes you have not reached yet will be locked, so if you are a first-time player, you will have no choice but to start from the beginning (Learning the Ropes also does not have a chapter select screen, so it shall proceed straight to its level select screen when chosen). On any episode's chapter select screen (and chapter's level select screen) you will again have to tap the left and right arrow buttons on the left and right sides of the screen to scroll through the chapters (or levels), then tap one of them to select it - but again, ones you have not reached yet shall be locked, which makes it impossible for a player to choose Loo-topia in the second episode Danger Mouse Saves the Day before they complete Global Warning. As of August 29, 2017, a sixth episode named Danger Mouse Max-tastic featuring Monsieur Aubrey Le Camembert the cheese-crazed French bear and Mr. Snuggles (Pink Dawn's giant pink teddy bear) has been added to the game; it will initially be locked (even if you had completed the game prior to this day, but to unlock it, you will have to replay the sixth level of Galahad you Came, which is the second chapter of the fifth episode Danger Mouse Ultimate-er, and defeat The Weevil Queen again. Once you do so, the game shall return to the episode select screen, with the new episode unlocked).
