The construction yard is the place where Darwinians build vehicles.
Objectives[edit]
- Enable generator trunk port
- Begin Armour production
- Destroy ant infection
- Enable three trunk ports
Walkthrough[edit]
Build an engineer at the containment trunk port, and send it to capture the radar dish on the main island.
Build two squads. Advance to the incubators, by trying to take the path via the mine carts. Secure the local area. Create two officers, and order darwinians to the yard. Collect the research item, but it's dangerous to use at V1.0. For it to be useful without the risk of demolishing the squad, get it up to V2.0.
Head to the Generator trunk port and capture it. The area is probably already shelled by Trifids, just keep working your way through.
The final area is the large ant nest. It is difficult to attack solely from one direction, thus get engineers to capture the trunk ports on the sides. Proceed with an armour attack up front by getting Darwinians into the armour and deploying the battle cannon. Then, use squads to take out the ant nests one by one while the ants are occupied by the cannons.
When an any nest is destroyed, a large quantity of souls are released. This will keep the ants occupied further.
