The Aftermath[edit]

Advancement condition:

  • Escort Iota to meet with the Pinnacle.

Objectives:

  • Escort Iota to meet with the Pinnacle.
  • Destroy All Remaining Fighters (Asura, Bheema)

This is an escort mission, where you need to protect Iota. Two other wings are also present - Beta wing will protect transports Sigma, and Epsilon will protect Omega.

Shortly into the mission, the GTFR Nelson will arrive, followed by Vishnu wing. If you want a few extra kills, order the GTFR Nelson to depart (using the comms menu: C, 1 PgDn 5 then 3). Otherwise, Vishnu will depart shortly after they destroy the Nelson.

There are the following waves:

  • Indra (3 SB Shaitan, 2 waves): Will arrrive 30 seconds after Vishnu departs (or 45 seconds after Vishnu is destroyed). Will try attacking Sigma transports, followed by Iota.
  • Krishna (4 SF Basilisk, 2 waves): Arrives 5 seconds after Indra. Will try protecting Indra, but will attack Iota afterwards.
  • Arjuna (4 SF Basilisk, 2 waves); Arrives with Indra, within 1500 units of Omega 1. Tries attacking Omega, Sigma, and Iota in that order. If the player gives an order to Beta 1 or Beta wing, Arjuna will try attacking Sigma transports.
  • Rama (4 SF Scorpion, 2 waves): Arrives after Indra is destroyed. Targets Iota.
  • Bheema (4 SF Basilisk): Arrives after the PVD Pinnacle, and tries attacking it. Followed by attacking Sigma, then Omega.
  • Asura (4 SF Basilisk): Arrives 8 seconds after Bheema. Tries attacking PVD Pinnacle, followed by Omega and Iota.

To complete this mission, you need to escort any of Iota transports to their destination. Once they arrive, the PVD Pinnacle will arrive. You can return to base now, or defeat the last two waves of fighters.

If one of Iota transports is destroyed, the next mission will have three additional fighters.

The Big Bang[edit]

  • Save Asimov

La Ruota della Fortuna[edit]

Advancement condition:

  • Eliminate Shivan Presence

Where Eagles Dare[edit]

Advancement condition:

  • Mission done

Tenderizer[edit]

Advancement condition:

  • Guard the Galatea

Shell Game[edit]

Advancement Condition:

  • Protect the Shivan Cargo

Primary Goals:

  • Destroy Shivan Transports (Legion, Belial)
  • Protect the Shivan Cargo (All Terran transports must dock with cargo)

Secondary Goals:

  • Destroy Shivan Freighters (Lucifuge, Moloch, Ashtaroth, Ba'al)

There are the following wings:

  • Krishna (3 SF Scorpion). Arrives 11 seconds after Rama, and departs when Alpha 2 and Alpha 3 are destroyed.
  • Rama (3 SF Scorpion). Arrives 15 seconds after "this just in", and departs when Beta 1 and 3 are destroyed.
  • Arjuna (3 SF Scorpion). Arrives 16 seconds after Legion is destroyed.
  • Bheema (3 SF Scorpion). Arrives 18 seconds after Belial is destroyed.

Additional targets are SFr Lucifuge, SFr Moloch, SFr Ashtaroth, SFr Ba'al, ST Legion, ST Belial.

This is mostly a straight combat mission. Destroy any freighters and transports if possible, and eliminate the any fighters. There are two transports that are relatively close to the jump node, if you want to destroy them, you have to engage them quickly.

The twist in this mission is that the Shivans leave their cargo behind. As such, there are a few transports that will collect the cargo. When one of the containers self destructs, GTT Stern will refuse to retrieve the last container, and thus you will have to scan the container to have him continue.

Enter the Dragon[edit]

Advancement condition:

  • Arjuna not destroyed

Primary goals:

  • Destroy Shakti
  • Disable and Capture Arjuna 1

Bonus goals:

  • Disable Arjuna without Delta's help

The enemy is a set of fighter wings, which have slight damage to some components. To start, you should engage fighters except for Arjuna 1, and destroy both the transport and freighter when they appear.

The only speical is transport Morkali, which will dock with Shakti for repairs, and Lorkonius, which arrives after 2 minutes (if you destroyed Gemini in 2-4) to pick up some cargo.

When it's time to disable Arjuna 1, you should switch to the D-Advanced. Although it is maneuverable, it has a broken power supply, and will not regenerate its shield or weapons. As such, it can be defeated with patience.

Disabling Arjuna 1 (on Medium difficulty) without calling in Delta wing will award the Distinguished Flying cross.

Although you can warp out of the mission instantly, this will cause the next mission to have an extra patrolling fighter.

Playing Judas[edit]

Advancement condition:

  • Lucifer must arrive

Objectives:

  • Scan all Destroyers and Cruisers
  • Scan all Freighters and Transports
  • Scan all Cargo

For this mission, you need to pilot a Shivan craft, and scan the transports and warships that come through. There are three fighers on patrol (four if you failed to destroy Shakti in the previous mission), and four sentries in the area. The fighter isn't as maneuverable as a normal SF Dragon, and you are along, as such you should avoid any combat.

The fighters and sentries ignore you, at least until you get within 610 units of any of the Arjuna fighters or sentries, and avoid making any attacks. The detection radius decreases at lower difficulty levels.

About 6 seconds after the Eva arrives, your warp drive will malfunction.

When the lucifer arrives, scan it, and you'll receive an order to enter the docking bay. The ship will not engage you as you approach, nor when you are detected. This will cause Rama to launch from the Lucifer. You will need to survive for about 30 seconds, by making tight turns around the Lucifer

Scanning all warships, supply ships and cargo will award the Meritorious Unit medal.

Evangelist[edit]

Advancement condition:

  • Always

Goals:

  • Destroy Eva

This mission is immediately followed by a red alert status, although there is not much planning required aside from keeping your ship's hull and allies alive.

The destroyer Eva needs to be destroyed, and it is supported with the following:

  • Arjuna (2 SF Dragon)
  • Krishna (3 SF Manticore, 4 waves)
  • SC Raja (appears if you didn't inspect warships in the previous mission)

First, eliminate the Arjuna wing, as that wing will never have additional waves. You can also eliminate Krishna wings should they get in the way.

When attacking Eva, you should place initial focus on either the weapon subsystem or the turrets. These can be disabled with the stillettos. Once the weapon subsystem is disabled or if you have a line of fire that is no longer covered by turrets, you can fire pairs of steletto bombs at the Eva.

When Eva is destroyed, command will announce that new orders are coming in.

It's also possible to skip this mission and proceed to the next one simply by warping out.

Doomsday[edit]

Advancement condition:

  • Galatea is destroyed by Lucifer.

Goals:

  • Protect all Escape Pods

The Galatea is under attack and needs assistance. The ship is only disabled, but attacks may become threatening after 45 seconds, when the AI starts to prefer using powerful bombs.

When Bheema and Rama wings are defeated, Galatea will start launching escape pods. This will then have Krishna wing arrive and attack those pods. If you can save all six escape pods (on medium difficulty), you can get the Galatea Survivor medal.

The Galatea cannot be saved, as the Lucifer will arrive and use it's beam weapon against it.
