Common items[edit]

Item Name Description
Doraemon Dorayaki.png Dorayaki Doraemon's favourite food is dorayaki (どら焼き), a Japanese treat filled with red bean paste. Collecting Dorayaki will refuel Doraemon's health quite a bit, but not completely. If Doraemon has a very long health meter, and is very low on health, it may take two dorayakis to completely heal Doraemon.
Doraemon Genki Candy.png Genki Candy Genki Candy provides Doraemon with an abundance of energy. Every time Doraemon finds and eats a Genki Candy, his health meter will expand. There are two Genki Candies in every world, which means that Doraemon can increase the length of the meter a maximum of six times throughout the entire game.
Doraemon Stopwatch.png Stopwatch The stopwatch will temporarily freeze enemies in place while Doraemon is free to run around and attack them.
Doraemon Diamond.png Diamond

In the city Exploration stage of the game, Diamonds are merely collected for 2000 bonus points. In the Underwater scene Diamonds provide you with 2000 points as well, but they also obliterate every enemy that is currently on the screen. Diamonds can appear in two different colors during the underwater stage.
Doraemon Gold Bar.png Gold Bar Gold Bars can be collected for 1000 bonus points.

City Exploration items[edit]

Item Name Description
Doraemon Shock Gun.png Shock Gun The Shock Gun is the first weapon that Doraemon collects. It is the weakest weapon, and it can found down in the manhole right in front of Doraemon when he begins a new game.
Doraemon Air Gun.png Air Gun The Air Gun is an upgrade from the Shock Gun. The projectile is bigger, and it does more damage with each hit than the Shock Gun.
Doraemon Power Fan.png Power Fan The Power Fan is the most powerful weapon that you can collect in the City Exploration World. It replaces the Air Gun.
Doraemon Rapid-Fire Drink.png Rapid-Fire Drink Initially, Doraemon can only fire one projectile on the screen at one time. For each Rapid-Fire Drink that Doraemon collects, he can fire that many extra projectiles on screen simultaneously. There are a total of three Rapid-Fire Drinks in the City, which will allow Doraemon to fire four projectiles all together.

Shooter items[edit]

Item Name Description
Doraemon Flash Light.png Flash Light The Flash Light replaces Doraemon's standard laser weapon with an expanding ripple weapon, which increases in size as it travels forward, and is capable of destroying enemies with one hit. You can collect one Flash Light early on in the City Exploration world.
Doraemon Hirari Mantle.png Hirari Mantle The Hirari Mantle will absorb five attacks that would ordinarily damage Doraemon. He can only collect the Mantle if he has two of his friends fighting with him.

Underwater items[edit]

Item Name Description
Doraemon Passing Hoop.png Passing Hoop The Passing Hoop is an essential item that allows Doraemon to pass through stone walls that block the passage between certain rooms. Once on the other side, the stone wall will remain open unless Doraemon exits the room through a different passage and returns. If he does not have the Hoop when he returns, he can become trapped.
Doraemon Key.png Key The Key quite naturally opens all of the Treasure Chests that Doraemon finds scattered throughout the Underwater world.
Doraemon Talisman.png Talisman The Talisman is the only item capable of helping Doraemon defeat the sea serpent that appears from some of the treasure chests that he opens. Without the Talisman, Doraemon is helpless to damage the serpent in any way. One touch from the Talisman will destroy a serpent instantly.
Doraemon Holding Bag.png Holding Bag The Holding Bag is an essential tool that allows Doraemon to carry two items, two people, or a mix of both around the underwater caverns. Since the game will only allow three items and/or people to be on the screen at one time, Doraemon must carefully manage which items he brings along with him from room to room in order to complete all of the puzzles.
