Bounty Hunter is a melee agility hero typically played as a hard carry. He is known to be very elusive with his Shadow Walk. His Shuriken Toss helps him last hit and harass while his Jinada gives him a good critical stike. Track makes Bounty Hunter a very persistent killer, and increases the gold income of his team and himself. Still, Bounty Hunter is a relatively fragile hero for a carry, even with his high armor, and if he gets revealed while in Shadow Walk he has very little chance of escaping.

Abilities[edit]

Shuriken Toss[edit]

Dota 2 bh shuriken toss.png
  • Ability: Target Unit
  • Affects: Enemy Heroes
  • Damage Type: Magical
  • Damage: 100 / 200 / 250 / 325
  • Mana Cost: 90 / 115 / 135 / 155
  • Cooldown: 10

Shuriken Toss makes you toss a shuriken at the target enemy, dealing damage as well as mini-stunning. It's a good harassment tool when laning, and can be a ranged nuke when going for kills. The cooldown is quite low, so it can be used repeatedly. The mini-stun itself is useful for interrupting channeling abilities.

Jinada[edit]

Dota 2 bh jinada.png
  • Ability: Passive
  • Bonus Damage: 150% / 175% / 200% / 225%
  • Move Slow: 25%
  • Attack Slow: 25
  • Duration: 3
  • Cooldown: 12 / 10 / 8 / 6

Jinada makes your next attack do bonus damage as well as apply maim, slowing the enemy, as long as it's off cooldown. It's a good modifier for your standard attack as it can make catching up to fleeing enemies easier as well as finishing them off faster. An interesting fact is that it also works on towers, so attacking them with Jinada ready will actually slow the tower's attack speed.

Shadow Walk[edit]

Dota 2 bh shadow walk.png
  • Ability: No Target
  • Damage Type: Physical
  • Duration: 15 / 20 / 25 / 30
  • Fade Time: 1 / 0.75 / 0.5 / 0.25
  • Bonus Damage: 30 / 60 / 90 / 120
  • Mana Cost: 50
  • Cooldown: 15

Shadow Walk makes you turn invisible and gain the ability to move through units until you attack or uses an ability. If you stop the invisibility with an attack, it will do bonus damage. A helpful skill when you are going for assassinations. If you're getting ganked or a teamfight went wrong you can also use it to escape.

Track[edit]

Dota 2 bh track.png
  • Ability: Target Unit
  • Affects: Enemy Heroes
  • Speed Radius: 900
  • Bonus Speed: 20%
  • Bonus Gold For Self: 150 / 200 / 250
  • Bonus Gold For Allies: 50 / 100 / 150
  • Duration: 30
  • Mana Cost: 50
  • Cooldown: 10 / 7 / 5

Track will let you track down an enemy hero, giving true sight of the location of the unit as well as granting you and your team bonus movement speed if you are close enough to the target. Killing the target will give you and your teammates bonus gold. A very spammable ability and one that will be feared by your opponents. Getting Tracked when low on health usually means getting killed, and there's no escaping with invisibility, as the true sight Track grants negates that. Use it for high priority targets or for mobile and/or invisibility reliant enemy heroes.
