Koinonia![edit]

Background: The Koinonia Station 1 missions are relatively easy. You don't need a fancy car, I did it in the freebie car: OMDSS. And you most likely don't need too many parts. My OMDSS only has two parts mounted. And don't listen to Erina when she says to go to the Parts Shop. Do patrols for parts. Tailing, although annoying, is very easy and the distances are short. I generally keep the speed between 50-56 MPH to stay in between the two extremes. If by now you don't see the correlation of No. 9 drivers, etc. It goes if you own a V9 car, you are considered a No. 9 Driver. V8 car, No. 8 driver, etc. In this station, the player is given first taste of the Dreamer (V5) and the Viper (V8). Watch out for the low accel. of the Dreamer. The player enters Koinonia around Level 13 and by the end of the 1st station should be around Level 16.

Station 1 | First Mission: Koinonia!

Stats:

  1. Patrol the 2nd Koinonia Mining Complex (1); 40 sec
  2. Patrol the 2nd Koinonia Mining Complex (2); 15 sec
  3. Patrol the 2nd Koinonia Mining Complex (3); 15 sec
  4. Patrol the 2nd Koinonia Mining Complex (4); 15 sec
  5. Patrol the 2nd Koinonia Mining Complex (5); 30 sec

Reward: 200 EXP | 400 MITO

Hint: Don't always follow the arrow.

Station 1 Staff Kayla:

Hi! I heard about you from Yuni. I'm Kayla, the Station 1 staff person. It's nice to meet you! That guy Branton is infamous. The cops here are bent on taking him down! I'd love to see him behind bars! There are rumors that Branton is laying low. Hm. Are you familiar with the ciy yet? Maybe you should take some time to explore. Koinonia is known for its abundant Mittron deposits. The two Mittron mining facilities keep the workers busy 24/7. It must be a tough job! Haha! Koinonia also has the largest harbor in Mittron Island, and also many factories. File that info away and learn the streets. No sweat for an OMD driver! Alrighty, let's get you started. The task is to patrol the 2nd Koinonia Mittron Mining Complex. You've come this far, so no explanation needed, right?

Operator Erina:

Everything going OK? The car you're driving now looks like it needs some upgrades. Am I right? The better your car performs, the more you'll succeed! You should definitely think about visiting the Parts Shop to max out your car's performance!

Mittron Concentrator[edit]

Station 1 | Second Mission: Mittron Concentrator

  1. Go to the OMD Mittron Technical Center.; 18 sec
  2. Tail the HUV near the Future Science Research Tower!
  3. Tail the HUV near the Future Science Research Tower!

Reward: 270 EXP | 500 MITO

Station 1 Staff Kayla: You know that Mittron cars run on liquid fuel formulated from concentrated Mittron, right? The machine that concentrates Mittron is called a Mittron Concentrator. I suppose that should be obvious. Ha ha! We've received reports that the Mittron Concentrator at the OMD Mittron Technical Center has been stolen. We suspect that Branton is behind the theft. Jeez, my workload has doubled since he's been here! We have to figure out how to catch him... Anyways, head to the center and investigate.

Senior Researcher: Oh no! The Mittron Concentrator has been stolen! The getaway car was spotted at the Future Science Research Tower. Get over there. Hurry up!

Station 1 Staff Kayla: That's the car!

Operator Erina: So, the machine has been stolen not by a person, but an HUV? HUVs also run on Mittron energy, so obviously a guy like Branton would need the machine too. This is serious! He's brazen enough to steal the OMD's newest technology. I hope we can track him down as soon as possible. With drivers like you, I think we can do it. Oh, by the way. When Koinonia was established, there were no HUVs. But once the OMD started to mine and refine Mittron, HUVs started to appear. There must be a connection between Mittron processing and HUVs.

High-Level Car Delivery[edit]

Station 1 | Third Mission: High-Level Car Delivery

Stats:

  1. Deliver the Viper to Complex 8 of the Fremont Apartments.; 4 crash limit | 50 sec

Reward: 300 EXP | 500 MITO

Station 1 Staff Kayla: Haha. I think you'll like this mission. The mission is to deliver a high-end car to a client. Have you done this kind of mission before? This car is called a Viper. Only high-level drivers can drive this car. OMD drivers who own this car must be awesome! Anyway, your mission is to deliver this car to Complex 8 of the Fremont Apartments. Be careful! Branton might be lurking nearby!

OMD Driver: Thanks for bringing my car over. You've done deliveries before in the past, right? I'll be a No.9 driver before long! Hm. You don't know what a No.9 driver is? Ha Ha! You'll find out! Anyway, thanks a bunch!

Operator Erina: Nicely done again! Keep it up, and you might have a high-end car!

Apartment Patrol[edit]

Station 1 | Fourth Mission: Apartment Patrol

Stats:

  1. Patrol Complex 7 of the Fremont Apartments; 38 sec
  2. Patrol Complex 8 of the Fremont Apartments; 37 sec
  3. Patrol Complex 10 of the Fremont Apartments; 36 sec
  4. Patrol Complex 9 of the Fremont Apartments; 25 sec

Reward: 200 EXP | 600 MITO

Station 1 Staff Kayla: We have new intel on the missing concentrator. The OMD has been searching for Branton's hideout. They suspect it's near the Fremont Apartment Complex. Get over there and patrol the area. But be careful, you don't want to tip off Branton!

Operator Erina: Shoot! Branton wasn't there. Koinonia isn't as safe as Moon Palace. Crimes and HUV incidents occur more frequently. Anyway, good job. I'll report this to the head office.

Upgraded Concentrator[edit]

Station 1 | Fifth Mission: Upgraded Concentrator

Stats:

  1. Go to the OMD Mittron Technical Center; 5 Crash Limit | 18 sec
  2. Go to the OMD Biotechnology Research Center; 5 Crash Limit | 28 sec
  3. Go to the OMD Automobile Research Center; 4 crash limit | 47 sec
  4. Go to the OMD Mittron Technical Center; 4 crash limit | NO time limit

Reward: 210 EXP | 600 MITO

Station 1 Staff Kayla: A Super Mittron Concentrator, which can concentrate Mittron more efficienty than current tech, has been recently developed. Hmm...technology gets better and better. We're positive that Branton has his eyes on it, so the government wants to assign an OMD driver to transport the machine. Alright, go to the Mittron Technical Center first. You know where it is?

Senior Researcher: Well well, we meet again. To upgrade this concentrator, we need a bio-chip, but we don't have one here. The bio-chip is at the Biotechnology Research Center. Bring the machine to the OMD Biotechnology Research Center first. Do not bump into anything!

Researcher: We have been waiting for you. Here's the bio-chip. The chip deteriorates over time. we can't, however, incorporate the chip. Only the guys at the OMD Automobile Research Center can. Deliver the chip and the machine quickly!

Senior Engineer: Hmm. You came on time. We'll put it together. (Assembling) We finished assembling the concentrator. Take it back to the OMD Mittron Technical Center. Obviously, it's very fragile. Drive safely.

Senior Researcher: Thank you. You helped us out big time!

Operator Erina: Good work. Making quick trips like that seems pretty tedious. If those centers were built closer to each other, drivers wouldn't have to work like this. It's ridiculous! Management failed to look past their own benefit, and foolishly commissioned the buildings in separate locations. After getting high management positions, they all turn the same. I can't understand them. They're a big bunch of fools!

Patrolling the Park[edit]

Station 1 | Sixth Mission: Patrolling the Park

Stats:

  1. Patrol Krabe Park (1); 20 sec
  2. Patrol Krabe Park (2); 33 sec
  3. Patrol Krabe Park (3); 20 sec
  4. Patrol Krabe Park (4); 20 sec
  5. Patrol Krabe Park (5); 33 sec

Reward: 210 EXP | 500 MITO

Station 1 Staff Kayla: Branton was recently seen around Krabe Park. I don't think he's still there, but OMD still wants you to check it out to make sure. For some reason, I have this feeling that Branton is showing himself on purpose to figure out the patrolling patern of OMD drivers! Branton could be monitoring the area still, so for safety take a car (V5 Dreamer) that usually isn't driven by OMD drivers!

Operator Erina: Good Job! Krabe Park used to be a very popular place to visit, but because of HUVs, no one ever goes there anymore!

Meaningless Doughnut Delivery[edit]

Station 1 | Seventh Mission: Meaningless Doughnut Delivery

Stats:

  1. Go to the 4th branch of the Fogel Bakery
  2. Go to the Prawn Theater; 5 Crash Limit | 30 sec

Reward: 160 EXP | 700 MITO

Station 1 Staff Kayla: High-level officers are going to the Prawn Theater. They also want doughnuts from the Fogel Bakery for lunch! There is a famous Fogel Bakery near the theater, so get some doughnuts there and deliever them to the Prawn Theater. Other OMD drivers may be there also.

Bakery staff: Wow, that's a lot of doughnuts to deliver! It's important to maintain their freshness. Please move them quickly and safely.

Director Green: Oh! Is that you? Do you remember me? Ha Ha Ha. You seem to be doing well in this city! The head of OMD was starting to get cranky. Fortunately, the doughnuts are in good condition.

Operator Erina: What a silly mission to use an expensive car for! These kinds of missions tick me off! But, hey, whatever. You do the job and get paid. So do I. Haha! It's probably best to not let these things get to you. It's not good for your skin. Too much stress can cause a breakout!

Police Trap[edit]

Station 1 | Eighth Mission: Police Trap

Stats:

  1. Go to the Koinonia IT Center and locate the suspected car.
  2. Tail the car.

Reward: 270 EXP | 900 MITO

Station 1 Staff Kayla: As you know, a Mittron Concentrator was stolen. Recently, concentrator-related software has also come up missing. The head office seems positive that Branton was behind the concentrator theft. The government has set up several surveillance points, and thye think they've spotted Branton's car. Go to the Koinonia IT center and tail the suspicious car. You must not be detected! Be careful!

IT Center staff: That's the car!

Operator Erina: It got away to the 2nd Rivistar Bookstore branch? Considering that this car is the same car that Branton was in when he fled to Koinonia, we can definitely tie the concentrator to him. Anyway, I'll report this to the head office.
