Hey there! Nice to meet you! I'm Tina. We have two factory complexes here. One is the gigantic Mittron Machinery Factory Complex which makes machines primarily powered by Mittron fuel, and the other is the Heavy Chemical Factory Complex which processes solid Mittron to other forms. Workers at the Mittron Machinery Factory Complex have a reputation for being really rough people. They like starting fights! Additionally, there are many dissidents who speak out against the Government. It's pretty volatile here, USERNAME! In order to find out where Branton is staying, we need you to patrol these two factory complexes.
—Station 3 Staff Tina Kim
You're on relatively strict time limits for this mission, but as long as you don't crash too much it's not too difficult to do. Be warned though; the north/south-running streets in this area are extremely narrow, so slow down a bit before turning into them.
From Station 3, head west and take the 2nd street on the right to reach the first point (your GPS arrow will begin to turn when the right street comes up). From there, head north down the narrow lane, taking the second right to hit the next patrol point. Heading east, take the first right and navigate the slight kink in this narrow road for the 3rd point. Then turn left for the 4th point and finally turn right to claim the 5th point close to Station 3.
- Upon completion
Hey, nice work! Factory complex patrol isn't what I call scenic driving. Ha! Hmm. No traces of Branton, eh? While you carry out your missions at Station 3, stay alert.

In Koinonia, we have a popular retail store. It's called Ko Mart. You know that Moon Palace has M Mart, right? Ko in the name Ko MArt stands for Koinonia. M Mart and Ko Mart are both owned by NHN Co. These stores wanted to give the impression that they represent the city. Hence the name. Ko Mart of Koinonia is currently doing great business. There are two branches, the Southern and Northern branch. Mostly working class people shop at the marts. Mittron batteries are out of stock at the Southern branch. Workers at the Mittron Mining Complex are going through tough times. Branton seems to be interfering with the Mitton battery transport. Get Mittron batteries at the Northern Branch first, then transport them to the Southern branch.
—Station 3 Staff Tina Kim
Head west and take the 4th street on the right to appear next to Ko Mart north (it's not difficult to spot; it's covered with ads for a soft drink called "6-up Plus").
- On arrival:
Ah! The OMD driver is here. We will load as many batteries as possible. Please deliver these batteries quickly!
—Store manager of Ko Mart northern branch
With 1:32 on the clock, you've got a long way to drive, and with only 5 crashes to make it to the other end of Koinonia, it's going to be tricky! The safest and quickest way to make it to the southern branch of Ko Mart is to head west from the northern branch and take a left to head past Station 2. When you pass under the big tower (it appears as the Amper Memorial Tower, but there's already a tower by that name in Moon Palace!), take the soft left-hander to head south-east which will practically plant you outside the southern branch. Don't forget to stop within the red lit area!
- Upon reaching the southern branch:
You saved us! Batteries for mining work are always out of stock... If OMD drivers help normal people like us even during ordinary times, we'll be okay. Unless the jobs are related to Mittron or HUVs, the government is stingy with OMD drivers. We pay taxes to fund OMD drivers, but they end up working mostly for the government... sometimes it seems really unfair!
—Store manager of Ko Mart southern branch
I'm glad you finished the mission. The biggest task for the OMD government is to mine Mittron efficiently without interference. If we can unlock the secrets of Mittron we can contribute to relieving the world's energy problems.

Information from the OMD Times[edit | edit source]

A reporter from the OMD times called us offering information about Branton and the origin of the HUVs. But he had a strange request. The informer insisted on providing the information to you only. It is strange, but we don't have any time for inquiry. Quickly, go to the OMD Times.
—Station 3 Staff Tina Kim
The OMD times is just around the corner from the Ko Mart northern branch. Take the same route you did last time, except head west past the Ko Mart and take a right to reach the OMD Times building.
- On arrival at the OMD Times:
Emm. You're an OMD driver, aren't you? You are the person Yooki told me about. Your name is USERNAME? I guessed right. People are watching, so let's get out of here.
—Mr.H
So he wants you to go... around the corner! Like that's not suspicious. Anyway, head north from the OMD Times building and take a left to reach the Q mark. Yooki is there.
- On arrival:
Hi? USERNAME! How have you been? Oh! Mr.H is here too. Let's see your skills. Can you see the apartments ahead? How about going around the apartments? Hmmm! While you're away, I think I'll have a talk with Mr.H!
—OMD driver Yooki
Since that's just a more subtle way of saying, go away, I don't want you to hear this, head west towards the Koinonia apartments. Take a left just as you get to the buildings, and cut through the complex to get to the Q, located at the south-west corner. There's no need to stop, so about-face as you hit the Q and backtrack to Yooki.
- On returning:
Oh! Your driving skills are still excellent. I've never seen such a talented driver. Mr.H told me that Branton did not invent HUVs. There is someone out there with more evil designs. Don't tell anyone, not even the Station Staff. The staff are actually puppets for the OMD government! Some are free thinkers, but most dangle like marionettes, especially that girl Tina Kim. Her appearance is deceiving. Since I've failed to arrest Branton, the head office is against me. They no longer give me important missions. You are frequently assigned to pursue Branton, right? If you ever encounter Branton's car, can you please just let him go? Why am I asking you to do this? I'll let you know why later. Please trust me! USERNAME, you are the only driver whom the OMD government fully trusts. That's why we need your help. USERNAME, we're counting on you!
—OMD driver Yooki
Gee, no pressure, yeah?
Did you meet the Times reporter? What did he tell you about Branton? What? He didn't tell you anything? What a strange reporter... Hm... you look really tired. Let's talk later.

Branton's car has been seen at the Car Repair Center. This arrest order is of the utmost urgency. Presently other OMD drivers are too far from the car center. USERNAME, it's up to you! If you can arrest branton, there will be great rewards for you, USERNAME.
—Station 3 Staff Tina Kim
The Car Repair Center is one block north of the Ko Mart. Take the same route you did in that mission, but head north past the Ko Mart and turn left to reach the repair center.
A HUV chase immediately starts. "Branton" (which is actually a O-Raid E series HUV) is on the main road that runs between the industrial complexes you patrolled in your first mission at Station 3. Take that HUV down to "arrest" Branton. Using Damage Power Up can make this chase pass by quicker.
- When the HUV is arrested:
Gasping!
You could've arrested me, but you didn't? Are you also a member of Team ROO? You don't even know what Team ROO is? Then why didn't you arrest me? Did Yooki ask you to do that? I see. So Yooki got to you. Ha ha ha! Let me tell you something interesting. The truth is, the power on this island lies with OMD government people. Greed, corruption, and all kinds of absurdities are widespread! This lead to the formation of a secret group called Team ROO. Team ROO was organised by OMD drivers who had grievances with the government. It's like a secret labor union of OMD drivers. The leader of Team ROO is Yooki. She is a very smart cookie, and probably the OMD government's least favorite driver. Anyway, I'm heading to the Mountain City, Cras. I owe you a lot. Thankyou! I'd like to repay you for your kindness one day. What was your name? What? USERNAME? I see. Someday this world will be changed. USERNAME, see what happens!!—Branton
Oh dear! You lost him. I wish we had time to interrogate him... Anyway, you did what you could. You can't catch them all... I will report this incident to the head office.

Sit-Down Strike[edit | edit source]

We have reports that workers at the Koinonia Machinery Factory Complex are currently staging a sit-down strike. Current reports are telling us that there are many injured people. We all have our hands full with Branton! Now this?! There is also speculation that some OMD drivers actually support Branton! The government has already begun tracking down these rogues. You are not one of them, are you, USERNAME? Head over to the Koinonia Machinery Factory Complex!
—Station 3 Staff Tina Kim
The factory is just to the north of Station 3. Head east and take the first left. Upon arrival, you witness a long section of dialogue. Read through it, or spam Space to get it over with quickly.
Leave me alone! We are on strike because what the government is doing is ludicrous.
—Worker A
You are a government person, aren't you? Listen to us! We're pissed!! Even though we're only temporary employees, suddenly closing the factory doesn't make sense!
—Worker B
He's right! We heard that they want to close this one, then rebuild somewhere else! We're totally in the dark here.
—Worker A
What? An injured person? He's right here! The people sent by your government injured him. It wasn't us!
—Worker B
The guy doesn't seem too seriously hurt, so you don't have to hurry, just drive carefully. Nobody listens to us! We feel like we're shouting at the sky. Let's go to the bar for drinks. Hey, government guy. Would you give us a ride to the bar?
—Worker A
You've got 1:30 and 5 crashes to make it to Koinonia hospital, which is half-way across the city! The quickest route is to cut through Koinonia Harbour, so head south-west until you reach the hospital.
- On arrival:
Many people get injured at strikes. Fortunately, this man isn't seriously injured. Don't worry.
—Female doctor
Now that the injured guy is safely in the hospital, it's time to offload the remainder of your human cargo. The workers want to go to the Star Bar, about a block to the east of Station 3. Head back towards Station 3, but bypass it to reach the bar.
- Upon arrival outside the Star Bar:
Thank you! We should use 'OMD Taxis' more frequently. Ha ha!
—Worker A
Unfortunately your "treating some mates to a lift" doesn't seem to please Operator Erina.
You gave the factory workers a ride! You shouldn't do that! Mittron fuel should be conserved! It's not gasoline! Mittron isn't for trivial jobs. As an OMD driver, you should only do what the OMD government instructs you to do. If you perform independently, you will be subject to disciplinary actions.
Sorry! I might have been too upset. Anyway, it was just a strike. But hmm, the high turnover for factories is very troubling. It's very wierd. While Mittron is an important energy source, it has its share of political problems.—Operator Erina

A new police car model just arrived at Koinonia Police Station. The police station has requested that an OMD driver test drive the car. Be careful, Branton is always on the lookout for new technology! Rogue OMD drivers are still a big problem, so we choose you for the test, given your superb record. They're waiting for you at the Koinonia Police Station.
—Station 3 Staff Tina Kim
The Police Station is to the south-west of Station 3 near the Hospital you visited in your last mission. There are no time or crash limits initially, so get there any way you prefer.
- Upon arriving at the police station:
Come in. We've been waiting for you. This is the car you are gonna test. Though it's not pretty, it has a new engine, so its performance will be very good. Please test this car carefully. Head to the Bonito shopping street and back.
—Koinonia Police Officer
For this portion of the mission, you drive a white and blue police car. It's design is similar to the "Non-mittron vehicle" you drove way back at Station 2 in Moon Palace, but with police badging and lights on top. What a shame they don't work.
Turn around and head south-east towards the Q mark at the Bonito Shopping Arcade. The police car will typically be faster than the car you're currently driving (it has 200 spd, 200 acc, 150 dura and 170 boost) so it may be necessary to adjust for the performance increase. You have 5 crashes and no time limit to make it to the arcade. Once there, turn around and retrace your way to the police station. You have 4 crashes to make it back.
- On return to the police station:
Thank you. As we expected, OMD drivers are very fast! How was its performance? Hmm, this new car is very good. I see. I will report your findings.
—Koinonia Police Officer
Fortunately, Branton wasn't around. Driving for the OMD seems like a fun job. They get to drive all kinds of cool cars. Thank you!

Our surveillance reports show that Branton is stealing car parts from the Koinonia Car Repair Center. He must be trying to build HUVs with the parts! What makes this crime even more despicable is that OMD drivers are helping him! These rogues are egregious! Don't they know helping Branton harms our society? Watch for Branton's car at the repair center, and follow it.
—Station 3 Staff Tina Kim
Oh boy, another tailing mission. Be prepared to try this mission more than once. Head back to the Car Repair Center (remember how to get there still?), and slow down as you reach your destination. The tailing mission begins as soon as you roll over the Q.
That's the car!
—Station 3 Staff Tina Kim
The HUV will appear at the intersection to your west and will initially head west towards the OMD times. It's final destination is the Koinonia Mittron Refining Research Complex. You must remain within 50 metres of the HUV at all times.
If you're having trouble with this mission, here are some hints:
- Arrive at the start of the tailing mission with a full boost. That way you can catch up to the HUV if you lose track of it at any point.
- Try to clear Tina Kim's message as quickly as you can. Sometimes it disengages your controls, meaning you can lose your target.
- If you need to boost, let go of accelerate once you get within range. Remember if you touch the HUV, you will fail automatically.
- Upon successful completion:
Branton's car stopped at the Koinonia Mittron Refining Research Complex. When it comes to the Koinonia Mittron Refining Research Complex, Kennis over at Station 4 is the person to talk to. The government's concerns about OMD drivers have been growing recently! You should stay out of harm's way! Take care of yourself, okay?
