As the stage begins, Fenton Crackshell is abducted by a passing spaceship. Scrooge will have to find a way into the spaceship and free Fenton from his alien prison. The first enemy you'll encounter is the space octopus; these slowly float up and down, and can be defeated easily with a pogo. Next is the space boxer, who flies toward Scrooge with its jetpack before stopping to punch. You can use the space boxer to reach two chests high up in the air, as a pogo off of them should produce enough height. Proceeding far enough to the right will trigger a cutscene, after which Scrooge can board the alien ship. Carefully jump above the gap and climb the ladder that hangs over it.

On the ship, you'll encounter the pink alien, who non-threateningly walks back and forth. Pogo onto it and past it to the left, over the obstacles and another pink alien. Here is a chest and some electrical currents that Scrooge can pogo over to reach a couple more chests. Return to the entrance of the ship and take the right path this time. Be careful not to pogo too high over the obstacles here, as there are some electrical currents on the ceiling. You will then come across two chains: one leading down, and one leading up. Take the one leading up. The one leading you down will only take you back out of the ship.

Proceed past Gizmoduck's helmet to the right and up the chain. To the left here is Fenton, who you can free by stepping on the button. After the scene, float to the three switches to turn the gravity back on. Afterward, you'll have a new mission: piece together Gizmoduck.

Finding Gizmoduck's armor[edit]

The first part of Gizmoduck's armor can be found on this platform to the right.

Proceed to the left, up the chain, and left again. Pogo over the obstacles, space boxers, and the pair of space octopi to find an oil drum. Swing it into the wall and pogo onto it to reach a high passage. On the other end is a chest, as well as numerous hidden diamonds (and a hidden ice cream on Easy/Medium). Pogo back over and climb up the chain. Proceed left and climb up another chain. To the left here is a chest containing a cake on Easy/Medium (swing a rock at the space octopus to get it out of the way). To the right is the first part of Gizmoduck's armor. Drop back down and backtrack to the right. Drop down further and backtrack to the right again. Instead of dropping down again, keep going right until you find a chain that you can climb (there are some chests off to the right, and some hidden diamonds under the platform holding them if you can manage to pogo under it).

The second part of Gizmoduck's armor can be found across a dangerous gap.

After climbing up, go right and swing at the oil drum and blocks in your path to access multiple chests. After collecting the treasure here, return to the left and climb up the next chain. On the next screen, instead of hopping off to the right or left, keep climbing up. You should find yourself outside the ship. Pogo atop the platform to the left for a diamond, then pogo across the octopi and narrow platforms to find the second part of Gizmoduck's armor. Return to the start of the area and drop down into the pit to return to the interior of the ship. Make sure to drop toward the left to stop your fall, as the unexplored area to the left here is where Mrs. Beakley can be found. Wait for the right timing to pogo past the space octopi and find Mrs. Beakley to collect your rewards. Drop back down and drop down the pit to the right this time.

Gizmoduck's helmet can be found on the second level of the ship, not far from where Fenton was held prisoner.

Keep dropping down pits until you spot the pink alien. Past it is the third part of Gizmoduck's armor (the helmet), which you should've passed by earlier on your way to free Fenton. Drop down to the left and then drop down again to leave the ship, though you'll have to catch the chain to avoid dropping Scrooge down the pit. Return to Gyro and Fenton, who are waiting for Scrooge at the far-left of the area, to at last summon Fenton's alter-ego: Gizmoduck. Keep going right with Gizmoduck at your side, letting him blast away enemies and obstacles in your path. Continue past the ship, not stopping until you trigger a scene. You can pogo to the right of the chain for some hidden diamonds, but you'll have to drop down the newly-opened path to continue.

Pogo up the wall to the left here to find the Heart Container on Easy/Medium.

A great number of Beagle Boys can be found wandering around this underground area. Fortunately, they're easy enemies to defeat. Proceed to the right until you come across a pit that you can drop down; there's nothing of interest here aside from an ice cream on the narrow platform to the left of the pit. After dropping down, you can pogo onto the blocks to get them out of the way, but leave the rock, as there's a hidden chest by the ceiling that you can swing it at. While dropping down the next pit, grab onto the chain to avoid falling onto a Beagle Boy. Drop down further after defeating them and continue to the left. Pogo onto the stack of blocks to the right for an invincibility coin on Easy/Medium. Past some more Beagle Boys is a chest on a high platform. Pogo up to it and then pogo up the wall to the left to find a hidden area, where you can find a Heart Container on Easy/Medium and a treasure worth $1,000,000 on Hard/Extreme.

Return to the previous area and pogo on the narrow platform to the left of the pit for a couple of hidden diamonds. Drop down the pit, again catching the chain to avoid falling on the Beagle Boy, and pogo onto the stack of blocks to reach the top-right corner of the ceiling. This should reveal a hidden diamond and ice cream. Another ice cream can be found under a block in the center of this area before encountering the boss.

Boss: Giant Moon Rat[edit]

Stand on the edge of this platform for the majority of the battle to avoid most attacks.

This battle has two phases: one in which the rat jumps and runs around, and one in which the rat teleports and runs. In the first phase, the rat is quick, but still not too difficult to avoid. If you're having trouble predicting its movements, stand on the edge of the left platform, as you can avoid the rat as it runs across the floor. The rat may jump to your position, in which case you have enough time to walk off the platform, underneath the rat's jump. Pogo onto the rat after it makes its move, ideally if it is in the center of the floor, as you should have enough height to pogo onto it from the platform. Hit it three times and the second phase of the battle will begin.

The rat will glow green and begin to teleport all over the area and race across the screen after it does so. Again, rather than attempting to dodge every one of its movements, stand by the edge of the platform. This should put you out of reach of most of the rat's teleportations, with the only exception being a teleportation directly above the platform. In that case, you should have enough time to walk off the platform and hide directly under it until the rat runs off the other side of the screen, then jump back up in preparation for its next attack. After this phase, the rat will stop glowing and the first phase will begin again, allowing you to attack the rat again. Repeat this pattern five times to defeat the rat and collect the treasure.

If you've completed all other stages in the level select, a scene will commence that leads into the final stage.
