Once Bin and Pin have reappeared on the screen, you shall have to make them start walking to the right as five Footballing Rhinoceroses come running towards them and try to tackle them; once you have punched each of these to kill them, you will have to walk up a staircase in the background and open up a treasure chest for 10000 extra points, then walk back down it to the ground again and to the right to collect a Missile Launcher for twenty-four shots of it. Once you have done so, twelve Skating Foxes shall come running and skating towards you - and once you have fired a missile at (or just punched) each of them to kill them, you will have to walk down an eight-step staircase as eight Sausage Dogs come bouncing towards you. Once you have fired a missile at (or just punched) each of these, to kill them, you'll come to four Mortar Coyotes, who are launching grenades at you from their positions on top of four vertically-oriented oil drums; once you have jumped onto a fifth horizontally-oriented oil drum and fired a missile at (or just punched) each of them to kill them the first one shall leave a large hamburger behind (which will restore eight bits of your energy). Once you've jumped back to the left onto that first oil drum and collected it, you will have to drop back down to the ground and continue walking to the right as you come to six Missile Wolves who are firing missiles (which can be blocked by a super-punch if you're an expert player) at you - and once you have punched each of the Wolves to kill them, a Springing Rabbit will come springing towards you. Once you have punched him to kill him, he will leave a large hot dog behind (which will, again, restore eight bits of your energy); once you have collected it, ten more Footballing Rhinoceroses will come running towards you, and try to tackle you. Once you have punched each of them to kill them, you will have to collect a Rock for twelve shots of it - and once you have done so, the game's first "boss" theme will start to be heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 for sixth time as the stage's mini-boss, Shooting Star, hovers into view from the right side of the screen.

Once Shooting Star reaches the centre of the screen, he'll start circling around anticlockwise above Bin and Pin, while dropping smaller stars on them; if they should land on them while they are holding the Rock, they will (as with any other weapon after any other hit) drop it and have to collect it again (but if they do not, they will stick in the ground for a few seconds!). Once you have jumped up and thrown all twelve rocks at him, then jumped up and kicked him twenty more times (or just jumped up and kicked him thirty-two times) he will fall to the ground and disappear - and the stage's main theme will then start to get heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 again. You'll then have to continue walking right up another eight-step staircase as three more Footballing Rhinoceroses come running towards you and try to tackle you; once you have punched each of these to kill them, the eighteenth one will leave another large hamburger behind (which will, once again, restore eight bits of your energy). Once you've collected it you will come to three more Mortar Coyotes who are launching grenades at you - and once you have punched each of them to kill them three more Sausage Dogs will come bouncing towards you. Once you punch all three of them to kill them, you'll come to two more Mortar Coyotes who are launching grenades at you from their positions on top of two more vertically-oriented oil drums; once you have jumped onto a ninth, horizontally-oriented oil drum to open up two more treasure chests for 5000 extra points apiece and punched both of those Mortar Coyotes to kill them, you'll have to drop back down to the ground and walk down to collect a pair of Bombs for twelve shots of them. Once you have done so, you shall have to continue walking to the right, and (if you are the player who didn't collect the pair of Bombs earlier) collect a Machine Gun for fifty shots of it as you come to three more Missile Wolves who are firing missiles at you - and once you've thrown a bomb (or fired a bullet) at each of them to kill them you will have to move up or down to the top or bottom of the road to indicate which path you want to take, then continue walking right to confirm your choice (the path you did not choose shall yet again get blocked off by a construction barrier which can't be jumped over). This is also the first stage where its two diverging paths will not appear immediately after defeating the mini-boss.

If you chose the lower path (which is recommended for novice players), you must continue walking to the right down a ramp, then open a fourth treasure chest for 10 more extra points; once you have done so, three more Sausage Dogs shall come bouncing towards you. Once you have thrown a bomb (or fired a bullet) at all of them to kill them, you'll come to two more Mortar Coyotes who are launching grenades at you from their positions on top of a wall - and once you've jumped up and thrown a bomb (or fired a bullet) at both of them to kill them, you shall have to walk down and (if you are the player who collected the Bombs earlier) collect a third Bomb for six shots of it, as the pair of Bombs shall now only have a minimum of four shots left on them. Once you have done so, you shall have to continue walking to the right down another ramp, as ten more Footballing Rhinoceroses come running towards you (and try to tackle you); once you have thrown a bomb at each of the first six then punched each of the remaining four (or fired a bullet at all ten of them) to kill them the twenty-eighth one will leave a small hamburger behind (which will restore four bits of your energy). Once you have collected it, two more Sausage Dogs will come bouncing towards you - and once you have punched (or fired a bullet at) both of them to kill them, you will come to three more Missile Wolves and a twelfth Mortar Coyote, who are firing missiles and launching grenades at you. Once you punch (or fire a bullet at) each of these to kill them two more Sausage Dogs will come bouncing towards you; once you've punched (or fired a bullet at) both of these to kill them, you will come to two more Missile Wolves who are firing missiles at you. Once you have punched (or fired a bullet at) both of these, to kill them, six more Sausage Dogs will come bouncing towards you - and once you've punched (or fired a bullet at) each of these to kill them, you shall come to a thirteenth Mortar Coyote who is launching grenades at you, from his position on top of a tenth, vertically-oriented oil drum. Once you have jumped onto an eleventh (horizontally-oriented) oil drum and punched (or fired a bullet at) him to kill him, he shall leave a cake behind (which will, yet again, restore eight bits of your energy); once you've jumped onto the tenth oil drum and collected it you will have to jump back to the left onto three more vertically-oriented oil drums and open three more treasure chests for 10000 more extra points apiece. Once you've done so you'll have to drop back down to the ground and continue walking to the right down a third eight-step staircase as two more Sausage Dogs come bouncing towards you - and once you have punched (or fired a bullet at) both of them to kill them, you will come to four more Missile Wolves, who are firing missiles at you. Once you have punched (or fired a bullet at) each of these to kill them, you will have to jump onto a fifteenth vertically-oriented oil drum, then open an eighth treasure chest for 1000 more extra points; once you have done so, you will have to drop down onto an eighteenth, horizontally-oriented oil drum and jump onto a nineteenth, vertically-oriented oil drum to open a ninth treasure chest for 10000 more extra points. Once you've done this, you will have to drop back down to the ground and continue walking right up a final eight-step staircase, as you come to four more Missile Wolves who are firing missiles at you - and once you've punched (or fired a bullet at) each of them to kill them, eight more Skating Foxes will come skating towards you. Once you punch each of them (or fire a bullet at each of the first five, then punched each of the remaining three), to kill them, you have to collect a Flamethrower for fifty shots of it (although it'll automatically decrease by one after every two seconds of non-use); once you've done so, a Flying Bomb will come flying towards you. Once you've flamed (or just punched) it to kill it (if you do not flame or punch it quickly enough it will explode into sixteen pieces of shrapnel which must be avoided), three more Skating Foxes will come skating towards you - and once you flame (or just punch) each of them to kill them another Springing Rabbit will come springing towards you. Once you have flamed (or just punched) him, to kill him, he will leave another cake behind (which will, for a fifth time, restore eight bits of your energy); once you have collected it you will have to continue walking to the right up a third ramp as ten more Sausage Dogs come bouncing towards you. Once you have flamed (or just punched) each of them, to kill them, the thirty-fourth one will leave another small hamburger behind (which will, again, restore four bits of your energy) - and once you have collected it, you will come to where the upper path (which is shorter than this but more dangerous) ends.

If, however, you chose the upper path (which is only recommended for expert players) you'll have to continue walking to the right as nine more Sausage Dogs come bouncing towards you; once you have thrown a bomb (or fired a bullet) at each of them to kill them, you will have to walk around four flames as you come to a tenth Mortar Coyote who's launching grenades at you. Once you have punched (or fired a bullet at) him to kill him he will leave a piece of cake behind (which will, once again, restore four bits of your energy) - and once you have collected it, you will have to walk between two more flames as you come to two more Mortar Coyotes and three more Missile Wolves, who're launching grenades and firing missiles at you. Once you punch (or fire a bullet at) each of these to kill them, four more Sausage Dogs will come bouncing towards you; once you've punched (or fired a bullet at) each of them to kill them, three more Footballing Rhinoceroses will come running towards you and try to tackle you - and once you have punched (or fired a bullet at) each of them to kill them the eighteenth one shall leave a small hot dog behind (which shall, yet again, restore four bits of your energy). Once you have collected it, you will (if you are the player who collected the Bombs earlier) have to pick up a third Bomb, for six shots of it; once you have done so, four more Footballing Rhinoceroses shall come running towards you and try to tackle you. Once you've thrown a bomb (or fired a bullet) at all of them to kill them, you'll come to two more Missile Wolves who are firing missiles at you - and once you have thrown a bomb at the thirteenth one and punched the fourteenth one (or fired a bullet at both of them) to kill them, you'll have to walk around two more flames as you come to two more Missile Wolves, who are firing missiles at you. Once you've punched (or fired a bullet at) both of these to kill them the ninth one shall leave another large hamburger behind (which will, for a sixth time, restore eight bits of your energy); once you have collected it, you shall have to walk around two more flames as eight more Sausage Dogs and eight more Footballing Rhinoceroses come bouncing and running towards you (the Rhinoceroses will also be trying to tackle you). Once you've punched (or fired a bullet at) each of them to kill them, you will have to (if you are the player who collected the Bomb earlier) walk up and collect a Missile Launcher for twenty-four shots of it - and once you've done so, you will have to continue walking to the right as you come to two more Missile Wolves, who are firing missiles at you. Once you've fired a missile (or bullet) at both of these to kill them, they will both leave another small hot dog and piece of cake behind (which will, for a fifth time, restore four bits of your energy); once you've collected them fifteen more Skating Foxes shall come skating towards you. Once you fire a missile at each of these (or fire a bullet at the thirteenth one, then punch each of the remaining fourteen) to kill them, you'll have to jump over six more flames as you come to two more Missile Wolves and a thirteenth Mortar Coyote who are firing missiles and launching grenades at you - and once you have fired a missile at (or just punched) each of these to kill them, the Mortar Coyote will leave a third large hamburger behind (which will, for a seventh time, restore eight bits of your energy). Once you've collected it, two more Footballing Rhinoceroses shall come running towards you (and try to tackle you); once you've fired a missile at (or just punched) both of these to kill them three more Sausage Dogs shall come bouncing towards you. Once you have fired a missile at both of the first two, then punched that remaining one (or just punched all three of them) to kill them you will come to where the lower path ends - and the flames are the primary reason why this shorter upper path is more dangerous.

Regardless of which path you chose, you will now have to continue walking to the right as you come to three more Missile Wolves who are firing missiles at you; once you've flamed (or just punched) each of these to kill them, the twenty-fourth (twenty-third, if you had taken the upper path) one shall leave a (third, if you took the upper path) small hamburger behind (which will, for a sixth time, restore four bits of your energy). Once you have collected it, seven more Sausage Dogs will come bouncing towards you - and once you have flamed (or just punched) each of them, to kill them, you will come to two more Missile Wolves, who are firing missiles at you. Once you have flamed (or just punched) both of them to kill them, the twenty-sixth (twenty-fifth, if you took the upper path) one will leave another large hot dog behind (which will, for an eighth time, restore eight bits of your energy); once you have collected it, a (second, if you took the lower path) Flying Bomb will come flying towards you. Once you've flamed (or just punched) it, to kill it (again, if you do not flame or punch it quickly enough it'll explode into sixteen pieces of shrapnel which must be avoided), you will come to two Water Cannons - and once you have collected one of them each, the game's second "boss" theme will start to be heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 for second time, as Fireball (who you may remember as the mini-boss for the first stage) hovers into view from the right side of the screen again. Once Fireball reaches the centre of the screen for a second time, he shall start firing miniaturized versions of himself at Bin and Pin; if they should land on them while they are holding the Water Cannons, they will (as with any other weapon after any other hit) drop them, and have to collect them again. Once you've fired thirty bursts of water (which is twice as many as his first fight) at him, he'll explode and a door will appear in the centre of the screen - and Bin and Pin will then go through it and get warped to the second "Boxing Match" bonus game (see the bottom of Stage 2's page). Regardless of the outcome, both ducks (or just the one who is under the player's control in a one-player game) will proceed to Stage 5 (which takes place in Texas) once one has knocked the other out or the timer has run out.
