Left Room[edit]

Eggerland 04-01.png
Approach from South Strategy Agility
Exits East

Solution:

  1. This stage doesn't involve a lot of strategy or agility, particularly because there isn't a lot for you to do. You start by floating in from the bottom on a raft. As soon as you can leap off onto the lower left section of land, do so and collect the Frame Heart.
  2. Push the Emerald Frame up to the Heart Frame, and maneuver around it to collect the last Heart Frame. As soon as you do, several things will happen. You will earn two egg shots, the Gol will wake up, a raft will appear from the chest, and a map will appear down below. Collecting this map will be extremely helpful.
  3. Start by egging the Gol from above. Then quickly run down to retrieve the map, and then back up to the egg before the Gol hatches back out of it. Push the egg to the left into the water. Now you can press B button to see the map, which shows you current location along with all of the rooms that you've currently cleared.
  4. Ride the egg as it takes you up and around. Get off to the left of the Emerald Frame and push it in front of the Medusa so that you can walk around the frame and collect the raft. To exit the room, walk straight up from the raft's location and onto the water and you will float into the room to the east.

Room 2[edit]

Eggerland 04-02.png
Approach from West Strategy ★★ Agility
Exits East, South

Solution:

  1. After you float into the room, let the raft take you beyond the first Skull so that you can get off to the south. Collect the Heart Frame to the right before continuing to the bottom of the room.
  2. Cross the bridge, and walk around the Gols. Push the right of the two Emerald Frames up until it is even with the Heart Frame to the right. When the Don Medusa is on it's way down, collect this Heart Frame, and then return to safety behind a boulder.
  3. Push the Emerald Frame that you just moved through the gap in the boulders so that it ends up above the Don Medusa, collecting a Heart Frame. Then push it down so that the Don Medusa is trapped against the bottom wall. Then push the Emerald Frame that you end up next to down so that it blocks the Don Medusa's view to the left.
  4. Walk up to the top and shoot the Snakey twice to remove it from your path to the top Heart Frame. Collect this Heart Frame to gain two more egg shots, and return to collect the last two Heart Frames along the bottom. The Gols will wake up and the Skulls will begin to move.
  5. Walk up to the water beneath the key and fire at the Gol above it twice to remove it and gain access to the key.

Room 3[edit]

Eggerland 04-03.png
Approach from East Strategy ★★★ Agility ★★
Exits North, East, South, West

Solution:

  1. It is faster to approach this room from the lower of the two west doors. Collect the four Heart Frames in the bottom half of the room, taking care not to attract the Rocky and cause him to pin you into a helpless state.
  2. Then pass through the treasure chest to the top half of the room, and collect the five accessible Heart Frames that you find here. Upon collecting the fifth, you will earn the Hammer Power. Use this power on the boulder below the left most Heart Frame to gain access to the chamber with the two remaining Heart Frames.
  3. Head inside, and collect the last two Heart Frames. Push the lower Emerald Frame out of the way so that you can walk below the roaming Skulls. Avoid Rocky, but don't take too long or you will give the Skulls a chance to get close to the key. Approach the key directly from the left so that you don't get burned by the Gols.

Once this room is cleared, push the center Emerald Frame along the top to the left or right to make a guardian chamber door appear.

Guardian Chamber[edit]

Eggerland 04-03 Guardian.png

The sand in this room will force Lolo to run at a slower pace. There are only 11 seconds on the clock, and you will only reach the treasure chest in time if you take the shortest possible route.

  1. Walk up and to the left until you are in the sand, then up to the top and over to the right. Push the Emerald Frame as far to the right as possible.
  2. Walk down and around the tree below you until you are back in the middle row of sand.
  3. Walk all the way to the right and down until you reach the Treasure Chest. You will acquire one of the guardians, which will appear on the map screen.

Room 4[edit]

Eggerland 04-04.png
Approach from East Strategy ★★★ Agility
Exits North, East, South, West

Solution:

  1. From your entrance through the left door, walk up and push the nearest Emerald Frame to the right. Walk up and collect the Heart Frame and allow the Leeper to touch you so that it falls asleep. Then walk around the boulders so that you can push the Emerald Frame that you just moved up against the left Medusa.
  2. Walk between the two Emerald Frames near the center, and push the right one to the right and push it up in front of the right Medusa. Then push the left Emerald Frame in between the two boulders, push it up to the Heart Frame above. Then you can push it to either side of the Heart Frame and push it up between the heart. and one of the Medusas.
  3. Walk to the right side of the Emerald Frame beneath the right Leeper. Push it to the left and let the Leeper come down and touch you and fall asleep. Push the frame all the way to the boulder, then stand above it and push it down two spaces. You must then push it left one space, up one space, left one space, and then all the way up to the Heart Frame above, and into the remaining gap between the Heart Frame and a Medusa. Now collect the Heart Frame.
  4. Walk to the Heart Frame above the right Leeper. Carefully collect it so that the Leeper doesn't touch Lolo and fall asleep in the chamber or you will not be able to collect the Heart Frame inside. Allow the Leeper to chase Lolo out of the chamber and put him to sleep outside so that you can return and collect the Heart Frame inside.
  5. Walk to the Emerald Frame above the left Leeper. Again, carefully push the Emeral Frame down so that you give the Leeper access to the outside of the chamber without putting him to sleep inside the chamber. Let him chase you out and put him to sleep somewhere harmless, then return and collect the final Heart Frame.
  6. To collect the key, you must approach the key one space above, and one space over. Then walk beneath the center Gol, and immediately downward. As soon as you touch the key, the Gols and the fire they breath will disappear.

Room 5[edit]

Eggerland 04-05.png
Approach from South Strategy ★★★ Agility
Exits North, East, South, West

Solution:

  1. You can only safely approach this room from the south. After you arrive between the two Heart Frames, collect the first Heart Frame from the center, between the two columns of boulders.
  2. Carefully approach the two Emerald Frames closest to the center of the screen. Push one in, and then up to the Treasure Chest, then walk to the chest, and push it all the way down until Lolo is standing on the Arrow Tile. Then double back around, and push the frame above one of the two Medusas. This will allow you to cross above it, and collect the Heart Frame that waits nearby.
  3. Go back to the top, and push the remaining Emerald Frame near the center in, and up to the chest, and then push it back down. Again, push it down until Lolo is standing completely on the Arrow Tile, and push the frame above the remaining Medusa to collect another Heart Frame nearby.
  4. With the remaining Emerald Frames, you must push the outer frames up one space so that you can push the inner frames to the center and up to the chest. Then push it back down, and this time, deposit the frames alongside the two Medusas so that you can safely collect the Heart Frames at the bottom of the screen. Before you collect them, be sure to collect the two Heart Frames near the sets of Skulls.
  5. The last step is optional, but you may find that the crowd of Skulls makes it difficult for you to reach the treasure chest safely. You can prepare for this by pushing the two remaining Emerald Frames back down, and then over to the center, and up to the chest. Once a frame is at the chest, Push it over one space to the side, and then up one half of a space, and then up against the nearest Skull. Repeat this with the other frame, and you will create an alley to the chest that is inaccessible to the Skulls.

From this location, you cannot solve the adjacent rooms to the north, or to the east, so you must return to a room where you had another choice of directions, such as the eighth room of row 2.

Room 6[edit]

Eggerland 04-06.png
Approach from North Strategy ★★★ Agility
Exits North, East, South, West

Solution:

  1. Start by collecting the three Heart Frames at the top of the stage, thereby gaining four Egg shots. Continue on and stand beneath the Snakey in the upper right corner. Shoot him twice to remove him. Then stand above the space on top of the Emerald Frame above, and push it down on to the location where the Snakey was.
  2. Wait a while and the Snakey will reappear to the left of the left Medusa. Now push the Emerald Frame all the way down to the right of the right Medusa, and collect the Heart Frame nearby for two more Egg Shots.
  3. Walk back along the top, and shoot the Snakey in the upper left corner twice. Push the Emerald Frame above down to the Snakey's location and it will reappear to the left of the right Medusa. Walk around and down and collect the Heart Frame for another two Egg shots.
  4. Now shoot the Snakey in the lower left corner twice and push the Emerald Frame in it's place. The Snakey will reappear below the bottom Medusa. Now you can collect the Heart Frames on either side of the chest.
  5. Continue on and shoot the Snakey in the lower right corner. However, pushing the Emerald Frame in its place will not result in anything. Instead, push it up one space further. Then walk between the center Heart Frame and the Snakey, and walk around so that you can push the Emerald Frame from the right. Push it left over the bottom Medusa.
  6. Push the Emerald Frame in the lower left corner up one space. You must then reach the left side of this frame which will mean walking between the center Heart Frame and the Snakey to reach the top of the stage, then over to the left and back down. Push it to the right two spaces, then walk around and underneath it, and push it up until it is in front of the left Medusa.
  7. Finally, push the Emerald Frame in the upper left corner down one space. Then walk down and around so that you can push the frame from the left, and push it right until it is in front of the top Medusa. Now you should be able to safely collect the last Heart Frame and the key. A key chamber entrance will appear in the middle of the screen.

Key Chamber[edit]

Eggerland 04-06 Key.png

The gaps in the sand seem to present you with a miriad of options, but only one path will help you reach the treasue chest before the 8 seconds on the clock are up.

  1. From the start point, immediately begin walking left.
  2. Before you reach the left wall, begin walking up when you are lined up vertically with the treasure chest. You should reach it just before time runs out.

Room 7[edit]

Eggerland 04-07.png
Approach from East Strategy ★★★ Agility ★★
Exits East, South, West

Solution:

  1. From the right entrance, push the right Emerald Frame up one space, then over to the left so that it lines up with the other two. Now push the middle frame over to the left and pin the lower Don Medusa against the boulder. Go back and push the top frame up to pin the other Don Medusa as well.
  2. Push the lowest Emerald Frame left so that it blocks the Don Medusa's view south. The push the nearby frame left of the boulder up to the left of the Medusa. Push the Emerald Frame above that up and over until it's above the top Medusa. The complete walking around, and push the Emerald Frame to the right of the top right boulder down one space to block that Don Medusa's view east.
  3. Now walk to the space between the two Emerald Frames near the Heart Frame. Push the Emerald Frames around and above to the other side of the Heart Frame so that they are to the left and above the Heart Frame. Now you can collect the Heart Frame.
  4. Be very careful as you leave the inner circle so that you don't get burned by a Gol on the way out. The safest way to exit is directly above the lower right Gol. Then walk around the outside of the stage to collect the key.

When you are finished, exit the room and return. Push the higher of the two center blocks to make a Guardian chamber appear.

Guardian Chamber[edit]

Eggerland 04-07 Guardian.png

The arrow tiles are arranged in such a way to make only one solution possible. With 9 seconds on the clock, you'll have to hit every turn very precisely to make it to the chest in time.

  1. Start by walking up through the up Arrow Tile, head left, and walk up through the next up Arrow Tile.
  2. Walk counter-clockwise along the outside of the stage until you reach the lower left corner.
  3. Immediately start walking right to touch the treasure chest before time runs out. You will acquire one of the guardians, which will appear on the map screen.

Room 8[edit]

Eggerland 04-08.png
Approach from South Strategy Agility ★★
Exits North, East, South, West

Solution:

  1. From the lower left corner, walk immediately to the grass, and lure the nearby Alma down to the bottom row. Then run up to the Heart Frames around the Treasure Chest and collect them to earn two Egg shots before the Alma recovers. Then return to the safety of the grass.
  2. Put the Leeper to sleep anywhere below the grassy section before running to the top of the stage, and collect the Heart Frames up there and earn the Ladder Power
  3. Push the Emerald Frame near the center of the stage over two and a half space (so that it is directly between the two Heart Frames positioned above.) Push it down to the Don Medusa if you like, and collect the two Heart Frames above the Don Medusa. Then collect the lone Heart Frame near the bottom between the trees.
  4. From that Heart Frame face up and shoot the Alma with an egg shot across the lava. You can shoot it twice to be on the safe side. Then use the ladder to cross over the lava, push the Emerald Frame in, collect the Heart Frame in the upper right corner which provides you with two more Egg shots, and return across the ladder before it dissolves in the lava.
  5. Then return to the lower right portion of the stage with the chest. Shoot the Alma with an Egg shot to be safe, and collect the key.

Room 9[edit]

Eggerland 04-09.png
Approach from South Strategy Agility
Exits North, East, South, West

Solution:

  1. Although this room is easier to complete when you enter from the left side, it is possible to initiate it from the southern entrance. However, you must run forward and collect the Heart Frame as quickly as possible. As soon as you do, you have two choices; either break to the left and reach the safety of the grass, or fire one of the Egg shots that you gain from this Heart Frame immediately at the Alma approaching you from above. Either way, shoot the Alma and push it out of the way, into the lava if necessary, so that you can collect the right most Heart Frame.
  2. Then return to the grass before the Alma hatches, and stand in front of the center aisle with the other Alma. If the Alma is too low, you may need to go to the right and lure it up higher. When it is safe to do so, fire two Egg shots at it to remove it from the stage, and collect the Heart Frame from the center aisle.
  3. Then simply collect the last two remaining Heart Frames and the key from the left side of the stage. The Arrow Power that you gain in this stage serves no purpose toward the solution.

Right Room[edit]

Eggerland 04-10.png
Approach from West Strategy ★★★ Agility
Exits North, South, West

Solution:

  1. From the left entrance, push the Emerald Frame closest to the lava up to spaces next to the tree. Collect the two Heart Frames above. Then, among the trio of Emerald Frame above that, push the outer pair in, and the middle on aside and collect the Heart Frame at the top.
  2. Next, walk around and collect the Heart Frame which is closest to the Medusa (down two spaces and to the left), before returning to the start position. Push the Emerald Frame which lies south of the trees down two spaces, right one, and down one more before pushing it into the trees to the right. Then push it up one space, and all the way to the right against the Heart Frame. Then walk around the trees and push it up to the left of the Medusa.
  3. When you are down, you can also push the Emerald Frame immediately below the two Heart Frames all the way to the right so that it sits above the Medusa, allowing you to collect the Heart Frame at the top to the right of the Gol.
  4. Return to the starting point again, and with the very first Emerald Frame that you pushed into position, push it back down and follow the same procedure as before to get it to the right side of the screen. Only this time, after it touches the Heart Frame, push it up one space, right one space, and then all the way up to the Medusa, collecting the Heart Frame above the Gol in the process.
  5. Now collect the two remaining Heart Frames below the lava and walk back down to the chest to complete the stage.
