Emmanuelle: A Game of Eroticism is an erotic puzzle game based on the autobiography of Emmanuelle Arsan.

Story[edit]

You play a wimpy-looking character obsessed to find the traces of Emmanuelle, find her and win her love. The main objective is to discover 3 erotic statuettes and generally increase your Eroticism status, before you finally reach Emmanuelle.

Gameplay[edit]

It is a adventure game where you are to visit several locations and interact with objects and people, buy items, pick up women, do some jobs and be in the right place on the right time. Several elements of the game are random such as when a character appear in one screen, or some of the available dialogue choices, giving the game some open-ended nature.

Each action affects one of your three statuses: Money, Energy and Eroticism. There are also several mini-games, such as gambling to gain money, or a fighting sequences. The puzzles are not based on an internal 'logic', and there are no leads or clues. Furthermore, there are no labels or indications about what objects on the screen are usable by the cursor. Therefore the game relies mostly on pixel-hunting, luck and experimentation and trying to be at the right place on the right moment.
