Slalom[edit]

Once you enter, you will be greeted by Gremlin Tiestow. He will explain that the door to go forward is broken and is in need of repair. Here you have a choice: you can either use paint on the two thinned out gears, which is what Tiestow asks you to do. If you prefer, you can use a spin move on the middle gear (this is not recommended, as it will make Tiestow upset). Either way, Tiestow will also ask you to repair the steam pipes as you advance. To do this simply paint in any area that has steam leaking from it. Keep making your way forward, patching steam pipes as you go, until you reach a turning wheel. To advance, Gus will instruct you to use a double jump, and explain how to use it. Double jump onto the platform when it passes by, and wait until the opening on the other side is revealed before jumping out. Here, the giant door will close, and Gus will realize that someone has set a trap.

Once inside a Spatter will sneak into the room. Spatters are Blotlings related to the Seers that you dealt with back in Dark Beauty Castle, but are a little tougher to deal with. Spatters will try to damage you by slamming their heads into Mickey. You can fight the Spatter the same way as Seers, simply by spraying paint at it to befriend it, or thinner to kill it. Once on Spatter is taken care of, another one will arrive in the room. Take care of it just as you took care of the first one, and then Tiestow will arrive to open the way forward.

NOTE: If you repaired the steam pipes, Gremlin Tiestow will also open the way to some EXTRA CONTENT. He will only award it to you if you fixed all of the pipes. Otherwise, you will fail the quest and receive nothing.

Ticket Booth Area[edit]

When you first arrive here, Gremlin Tim is shown trapped in a booth by Seers and Spatters. He will ask Mickey to deal with all of the Blotlings. This fight can take awhile, particularly if you are using paint. After that a cutscene will play where Gus will explain about guardians. After every Blotling has been killed or befriended, speak to Gremlin Tim again. He will open the way out, which you may exit from at any time.

However, if you want to complete his quest, he will ask you to retrieve his wrench for him. He claims he was working on a teacup with a red stripe on top when he last had it. Go over to the teacup ride, and when the red striped teacup comes around, spray it with a stream of thinner to reveal the wrench. Run over to it, and it will automatically be added to your inventory. Speak with Tim again (now behind the elephant ride, opposite from the teacup ride), and he will thank you and get to work repairing the elephant ride. However, he will also need help repairing the teacup ride. To do this you will need to jump across the elephants until you reach the canopy of a tent. Then, go across the nearby bridge and into an area with spinning gears. Notice the center of these spinning gears. If you thin the toon center, it will stop rotating. When you paint it the gear spins again. Keep thinning and painting until the platform attached to each gear is in a favorable position. Jump across all of them and land on the platform on the other side. Them double jump to the bridge to the left, and find the opening. In here is a pump: you can fill it with paint or thinner. Gus points out that filling these types of pumps with paint can repair things, while thinner destroys them. Either one can be useful, but for this one it's best to use paint. Using paint will repair the teacup ride, and using thinner will destroy it. If you repair the ride, Tim will thank you by opening up a tent flap with a BRONZE PIN inside.

Also, while you are here, you should head back up the elephant ride, across the bridge, and into the area with the gears again. However, instead of crossing the gears, drop down onto the boat below. Cross using the boats until you come across EXTRA CONTENT.

Now it is time to head out. Jump onto one of the moving boats and stay on until you arrive in the next area, the Jungle Boat Ride.

Jungle Boat Ride[edit]

In this next area, you will arrive in a room full of jammed boats, some overturned. Gus will explain that to fix this so you can proceed, you have two options: you can thin out the pipes on the sides of the room, or you can paint in the hippos heads. It really makes no big difference which one you do, but if you paint in the hippos, a hippo's mouth in the next room will open, revealing a silver e-ticket (this is worth 10 e-tickets total). Once the giant doors open and the exit is cleared, hop over the overturned boats until you reach a platform directly in front of you.

Now, Gus will show you a new kind of enemy. These are Blotlings called Sweepers. They will literally sweep you off your feet, causing you to lose lives. And when you're too far away for that, they throw thinner right at you. However, like both Seers and Spatters, a steady stream of paint or thinner will take care of them. Once you have dealt with the Sweeper, thin out the wall directly behind it, and you will enter yet another room. Gus will immediately point out a trapped gremlin, as well as an out of reach chest. More about the chest later. For now, free the gremlin (this is NOT required, but it will be handy later). Regardless of whether you freed the gremlin, paint in a bridge in the middle of the thinner lake in front of you. This will allow you to cross safely, and reach the other side. Now, look up. You should see gears, like the ones back in the ticket booth area. Make sure all the gears are painted in and spinning at once. This will lower the platform with the chest. Open to reveal a BRONZE PIN. When you painted in the gears, you should have also notice two columns rising up out of the thinner. This will allow you to get to the platform near the top of the room.

Head over towards the bridge on your right. There is a Sweeper guarding the area. Once you deal with it with your method of choice, look around. You should notice ledges on the wall. Some are very difficult to reach, but if you paint in front of them, more of the ledge will appear making the jump easier. Jump across to each of these ledges (on both sides of the bridge) and in the cave, you will find barrels, which can be spin moved for health, paint, and e-tickets. In two of the caves there are trapped gremlins. Freeing them is recommended but not required. After this, cross the ledges until you reach a giant giraffe. On a higher platform behind the giraffe is some EXTRA CONTENT. On the platform underneath the giraffe is another trapped gremlin. Free him, if you want, and then make your way over to the area on the other side.

Here is a giant room. With four Sweepers on retractable platforms. Every gremlin you freed in the previous area will come back to help out by taking care of a Sweeper for you. If you missed any gremlins, you will have to knock the Sweepers into the thinner yourself by spinning the four wheels located throughout the room. Once all the Sweepers are eliminated, the exit will open.

NOTE: If you freed all four gremlins, the four of them will work together to move a ledge back out after the Sweepers are gone. This will give you access to a treasure chest. Go back to the beginning area of the room and thin out a wall on the right. Run past the two giant blocks and climb up the piston. When it reaches the very top, jump off onto the ledge until you reach the chest. Open it for a SILVER PIN.

Asia Boat Ride[edit]

After you exit, you will find yourself inside a room with a pressure plate. Step on the pressure plate and activate you will activate a timer. Run over to the valve where the steam stopped. Spin it, and a new timer will activate. Jump on top of the platform to your right and spin the next valve. Repeat this with the final valve, and the steam will be permanently shut off.

Now, you will be greeted by a character named Small Pete who will have a quest for you. He wants to retrieve his ship's log, but the gremlins won't let him go near it.

He will ask you to retrieve his log for him so the gremlins let him back into their village. This quest can't be completed right away, as this is in a different world than the one you are about to enter.

There's a lot to do in the Asia Boat Ride. We suggest that you start by jumping to your left, bouncing across the thinner a couple of times and hopefully landing on a boat floating on the thinner. Thin out the bright pink wall ahead of you and you will discover a room with Spatters inside. Deal with the Spatters how you choose, and then spin a gear on the side of the wooden column in the center of the room. This will open a door with a gremlin inside. Free the gremlin. Then go back out the way you can (you should probably spin a few barrels to gain any hearts that you lost back). Then go out the way you came. Now go over to the Asian building in the center of the island and deal with some more Spatters. Now make your way up the building until you find Gremlin Braun. Free him, and then jump out to the rotating platform on your right (the one with a gremlin on top). Get to the top of this platform and free the gremlin. Now, look over to where there is a partially painted playing card bridge. Cross it and now look to your right. Paint in some ledges, and use them to climb all the way to the top of the wall. Now drop through the hole. Thin out the blades of all the fans in this tunnel. Now go back to the beginning and spin the first valve. Race over to the second and do the same. Keep doing this until you reach the end. Now go back up to the top but don't drop through the hole. Instead run to your left until you find a now accessible treasure chest. Open it for a BRONZE PIN.

Now go back to the rotating island. Make a jump onto a different ledge with more gears along the wall. Paint in all the gears, and a cave in he wall will be revealed. This is a very tricky jump, but once you get there, open the treasure chest for a GOLD PIN. Now jump up onto one of these gears and land on a ledge in between to of the gears. This will raise the fire bridge.

The next part is very difficult: getting onto the dragon's back and crossing its body until you reach the other side. Once you get there, you need to open the door. Look back towards the dragon. Notice the flower-like platform. Jump on it and it will raise you to the top. Jump on the small ledge on the right side of the door and it will fall down to the ground. Now go back up. Jump onto the cloud this time, and go from there to the bright blue ledge directly above the door. This one won't drop, but you can jump right from there to another darker ledge. This one will drop and the door will open.

If you want you can head up a third time. Jump to the cloud, then to the blue ledge, and then paint in a second cloud. This will take you to a brightly colored Asian design. Thin it out, and inside you can find some EXTRA CONTENT. Now go back down. You can enter a projector, STEAMBOAT WILLIE (part 1), and exit the area.

World of Gremlins[edit]

When you arrive in the world of gremlins, Gus will explain that he needs your help. There is a pie overflowing with thinner and it's thinning out his house. He will ask you to repair it. To do this, first you must paint in all the steam pipes on the ground (they all run along the outside of the circular area). Then spin the valve in the center. When these are all painted in, Gus will show you that the thinner has been shut off. All you will need to do is paint in Gus' house. Once you do this, you can enter and find a BRONZE PIN.

There's a lot more to do here. First, if you want to, you can thin out a toon wall to the right of the area where you came in. You will come to room with mashers that go up and down. If you can make it to the far side without getting hit, you can pick up some EXTRA CONTENT. Make your way out again, and then go past the circular area with the steam pipes. You should see two rides: The airplanes and the magic carpets. If you want to do the quest that Small Pete gave you in the Asia Boat Ride, you can jump onto an airplane. Let it fly you around until you arrive at a crashed ship. Jump towards it. Once you get on the ship, go to the back where you will find a valve. Spin it, and a door in the front of the boat will open. Open the treasure chest inside to get Small Pete's ship log.

Now you can cross over to the village clock tower. To open the gate, you will need to get to the top of the tower. The only way to do this is to get through a projector screen, CLOCK CLEANERS (part 1). Once you come out you will find yourself at the top of the village tower. Go around the corner to find a paint/thinner pump. Fill it with whichever liquid you choose, and then jump down to the ground. The door will open and you can exit into STEAMBOAT WILLIE (part 2). Also in the village tower area is a gremlin, named Shaky. He will ask you to give him Small Pet's ship log (if you got it). In return, he will give you the GREMLIN PIN. However, Small Pete will not be happy if you accept Shaky's offer. If you want, you can also head over to the windmill. Jump onto one of the platforms on the windmill, then jump off on to a ledge on the right side of the windmill. Here is a Spatter. Once you deal with it, there is a gremlin that needs freeing. If you choose to free him he will open up a secret shortcut into the next world, with the CLOCK CLEANERS (part 2) projector screen. Choose which projector screen you would like to take. The one that the gremlin opened up will give you a shortcut, but both have a collectible film reel and you cannot get both in the same game.

European Boat Ride[edit]

When you first enter the European Boat Ride, you will be in one of two places.

If you took the Steamboat Willie projector, then you will find yourself in front of a Leaning Tower replica. Spin move the columns next to the tower. This will cause the tower to fall over, creating a bridge over a thinner river. Once you get the to the other side you are greeted by an army of Seers, Spatters, and Sweepers. Deal with them how you choose, then turn your attention to the nearby wall. On it are gears. Paint in the gears so they face the correct direction, then climb on to them and onto a cloud next to the gears. The cloud will carry you for a short distance, before it stops. You can then either jump on to the Eiffel Tower replica that you will be right next to, and from there to a second cloud platform, or jump directly from one cloud to the next (although this is harder). The second cloud will take you all the way to a secret area. Jump off, and then you will run into a Sweeper. Once you have taken care of it you can head left to find a SILVER PIN. Now look out along the wall and you'll see a platform extending from it. The platform is not in a good position, so paint in the gear to its right and get it spinning. Thin the gear out when the platform is in a good position then continue this until you have reached a platform that you can jump on to.

If you took the Clock Cleaners projector, you will come out at the top of a small platform.

The Coliseum[edit]

The Coliseum will either be the easiest or hardest world in the Gremlin Village, depending on how you handled Small Pete's ship log.

If you either traded Small Pete's log or did not get it altogether, Small Pete will be angry. He will send angry Seers, Sweepers, and Spatters (though not all at once) at you. There are four rounds of battle in all, with a new round beginning after you have either painted or thinned all the Blotlings in the arena. Once all the Blotlings are taken care of, Small Pete will open the exit.

If you got Small Pete's log and did NOT trade it, Small Pete will open up a treasure room for Mickey hen he arrives in the Coliseum, and then leave. Inside the room is a BRONZE PIN, a secret back room with EXTRA CONTENT, and several destructible items that can give E-Tickets and paint and thinner refills.

Regardless of which path you took, head to the exit, STEAMBOAT WILLIE (part 3), which will take you to your first boss battle of the game.

Clocktower Boss[edit]

When you exit the projector screen you will be greeted by the Clocktower, who has turned evil. This is your first of many boss battles in the game. The Clocktower will attack by slamming his fist, or fists, against the ground. If Mickey gets trapped underneath he will lose lives. There are two ways to win this battle.

If you decide to use thinner, simply start thinning out either of the two hands. When one hand is completely thinned out, it will break off when the Clocktower tries to slam it. However, once you have removed both of the hands, he will start slamming his arms on the ground. Now remove both of the arms with thinner and those will break off too. When both arms break off, the Clocktower will completely fall apart, and his parts can be used as stepping stones to get across the thinner.

If you decide to use paint, then start painting in the Clocktower's hands and arms. Keep painting them until both are completely blue. WARNING: Do not paint one arm completely before you have started painting the other. The Clocktower will be able to shake off the paint after a certain amount of time and you will have to start over. Instead, paint most of one arm, then paint the other. Now go back and finish the first arm. After both arms are painted, one arm will lower, jump onto the hand. It will raise you up. Now paint in the Clocktower's face and the battle will be complete.

If you thinned the Clocktower, Gus will give you a Thinner upgrade. Mickey's paintbrush will now be able to hold more thinner. You will also get the UNWIND THE CLOCK PIN, and a projector screen will open up to the next area.

If you painted the Clocktower, Gus will give you a Paint upgrade. Mickey's paintbrush will now be able to hold more paint. You will also get the STOP THE MUSIC PIN, and a projector screen will open up to the next area.
