This quest is received from a mercenary called Logan, in Camp Searchlight. He is in the storage room of the church.
The Quest[edit]
After speaking with Logan to start the quest, hack the nearby computer (50 science required) to get a lead on where to go. You'll be directed to Nipton to speak with someone there, but there is only one resident left, Boxcars, who is in the convenience store at the entrance to Nipton. He'll tell you about a hidden supply cave just north of the town. To get in, you need 50 lockpick. Inside you'll get the Radiation Suit Package. Return these to Logan, and he will direct you to the Police Station to get materials.
There are 10 parts to find:
- NCR 9mm submachine gun (jail cell, right one)
- NCR 10mm pistol (office, northwest corner, on a desk)
- x2 NCR Computer Parts (office, inside two desks in the center)
- x2 NCR Radio Parts (office, inside two desks in the northeast corner)
- x3 NCR frag grenades (storage room, shelves on the east side)
- NCR grenade rifle (storage room, on the boxes by the shelves with the grenades)
After giving these to Logan, you'll be sent to the Fire Station to get more parts. The Fire Station is highly irradiated, so be sure to bring Rad-X and RadAway along. Inside you will find the Radscorpion Queen (find tactics to kill her here). You'll find the parts upstairs.

Returning this to Logan will get you thanks, after which Logan will try to kill you. After killing him, you can take all the parts from him, but the weapons will turn back into their normal forms (9mm submachine gun, etc.) and the Computer and Radio Parts will stay in your inventory forever.
