This diagram shows a possible solution to Star 6 of Super Mario Galaxy's Dreadnought Galaxy. The four bob-omb spawn points are shown in a row at the bottom. The other icons are piles of garbage that must be detonated. Each red dot shows where a bob-omb should be placed, and each circle shows the blast radius of the bob-omb placed at its center.

I created this image by approximating distances using Mario's backflip and placing icons, guessing the blast size of a bob-omb based on which placements did or did not destroy particular piles of garbage, and placing circles of that size (then adding the red dots).
