Your adventure begins when you are sent to the library to help Mr. Randell with the books. Though once you arrive, you find nothing but a very old book lying on the table. Deciding to read it, you find it is only written halfway through, and so you read the last page to be written on. Reading the words "Know you his name?" you decide to write down your name.
All of the sudden, the book begins to shine, and more of them fly around you, as you are taken once again to the world of Ivalice.
Setup your character[edit]
The game starts out by giving you a chance to rename Luso, so change his name if you want. Then you will be prompted to answer a series of questions. Your responses here will affect the clan privileges you get to start without. Clan privileges are enhancements that affect your entire party during battle.
