Playable Characters[edit]

Haggar[edit]

Haggar returns from the first game. He retains his moves from the first game, but now has the spinning pile driver.

Maki[edit]

Maki is the quickest, but the weakest of the three. Like Guy from the first game, she can peform the off-the-wall jump.

Carlos[edit]

Carlos is balanced, making this player an excellent choice for beginners.

Enemies[edit]

Bull and Elijah[edit]

Bull and Elijah are the most basic enemies. Having a kick attack, they are also very predictable and are very slow. Bull wears grey, and Elijah wears magenta.

Mark and Mic[edit]

Mark and Mic are short and odd-looking thugs. They are fast, but their only move is a weak punch. Mark wears olive-green, and Mic wears blue.

Schot and Jack[edit]

Schot and Jack are another pair of basic thugs, who both have a punk-like appearance. Schot wears yellow and purple, and Jack wears green and grey.

Elick[edit]

Elick possesses a short, obese build and charging attacks like the Mad Gear thugs Bill Bull and Wong Who from the first game, but, in addition, possesses two tuning fork-like weapons that can conduct electricity.

Elias and Elliot[edit]

Elias and Eliot are tall and skinny fighters who use a blackjack and kicking attacks to fight their opponents. Elias wears purple and taupe, and Elliot wears grey and yellow.

Atlas and Jony[edit]

Atlas and Jony are cheap blockers with a very muscular build. If they are close to the opponent, they use a bear hug attack to drain a large quantity of the player's energy. Atlas wears yellow and blue, and Jony wears red and taupe.

Mary and Eliza[edit]

Mary and Eliza are tall slender women who use twin slapjacks as weapons. Like Roxy and Poison before them, they have a fast, acrobatic fighting style. They also use high flying attacks (although they are more similar to a M. Bison-like stomp instead of a somersault kick). They were replaced with male counterparts, named Leon and Robert, in the US version of the game. Mary wears white and green and has white hair, and Eliza wears yellow and indigo and has blonde hair. Leon wears dark blue and orange and has dark blue hair, and Robert wears yellow and purple and has blonde hair.

Andore[edit]

Andore returns from the first Final Fight. He retains all of his attacks from the first game, but his outfit has been changed to red overall. He is joined by Andore Jr. (in blue) and G. Andore (in gray).

Bosses[edit]

Won Won[edit]

Won Won (王 王) is the Mad Gear boss of the Hong Kong area (Round 1). Won Won is a former sailor who occupies the seaport section in Hong Kong. He's described as a brutal man who's respected by the area's local mafia, 108 Dragon. In Japanese version of Final Fight 2, he battles with a meat cleaver but was removed in the English localization.

Freddie[edit]

Freddie is the boss of the French area (Round 2). He is a former member of the US Marine Corps who got into trouble for the numerous fights he was a part of. He was dishonorably discharged after he punched out a commanding officer. He became a mercenary hired by Mad Gear to lead their terrorism unit. His moves are similar to Andore's: A running attack where he charges into the player violently, a head crush move, a jumping attack, done after he knocks you down, and a Piledriver, all of which are extremely damaging. He also has a rising knee attack, similar to Guile's. Despite his immense strength, most of his attacks can be easily countered, and he is a fairly simple boss to defeat.

Bratken[edit]

Bratken is the boss of the Holland area (Round 3). He is a huge, deformed and very strong individual who resembles the popular depiction of Frankenstein's Monster. A mentally unstable man with the mindset of a child, he was bribed by Mad Gear with a roomful of toys to work for them. He is uncontrollable and is kept in a prison when he is not needed. He has a throw move just like Abigail's, a weird jump and a sliding punch, all of which do a lot of damage. This is a very dangerous boss. His big jump is extremely damaging, but is very slow and easy to avoid.

Phillipe[edit]

Phillipe is the boss of the England area (Round 4). He's a clown working for the circus, shipping illegal items for Mad Gear through it. He uses a cane to battle his opponents. He is able to grab his enemy and strike repeatedly with it, which is very damaging. He also has a sliding attack that knocks his opponent down instantly.

Rolento[edit]

Rolento is the boss of the Italy area (Round 5). He serves as the military trainer and second-in-command of the gang. He is included in the game presumably due to his omission in the first SNES game (as well as in Final Fight Guy) and fights identical like he does in the original arcade game.

Retu[edit]

Retu (烈, Retsu, Not to be confused with the Street Fighter character Retsu) is the leader of the revived Mad Gear gang and the final boss. He appears in full kabuki costume with a massive build and long pink hair. He fights in his hideout in Japan. Retu's fighting style is similar to Won Won's. He also has a signature move which seems to be a variation of the spinning kick move Tatsumakisenpukyaku used by Ryu in the Street Fighter series.
