Once Sygnus has reappeared on the screen (and a barrier has slid down behind him), start marching to the right until you come to an elevating platform; once you have marched onto it, a second barrier will slide down behind you as the platform starts going upwards. Once the platform has reached the top of its shaft, continue marching to the right as you will come to a Jirai that is generating an electric force-field in a "north-eastern" direction - and once you have fired enough shots at it to destroy it three Karura will come marching towards you while firing shots at you. Once you have fired out enough of your own shots at each of them to destroy them you will come to another Jirai that is generating an electric force-field in a "northern" direction; once you have fired enough shots at it to destroy it, three more Karura will come marching towards you, while firing shots at you. Once you fire enough shots at each of them to destroy them, turn back to the left and continue marching in that direction until you come up to a Haken that is marching towards you while firing shots at you - and once you've fired enough of your own shots at it, to destroy it, turn back to the right, then activate your Vernier jump-jets in order to be carried up to the next platform. Once you have landed on that next platform, continue marching to the right, as two more Karura come marching towards you while firing shots at you; once you've fired enough of your own shots at both of them to destroy them, two Green Bombs will come hovering towards you. Once you have fired enough shots at both of these to destroy them, drop down off the edge of the platform, to land on a static conveyor belt below, as three more Karura drop down in front of you - and once you have fired enough shots at each of them to destroy them, continue marching to the right, as three Raiden come marching towards you while firing shots at you. Once you have fired enough of your own shots at each of these, to destroy them, you'll come two more Jirai that are generating an electric force-field in a "northern" direction (along with an enormous shuriken-like object that is rotating in an anticlockwise direction in the background); once you have fired enough shots at both of these Jirai to destroy them (the aforementioned enormous shuriken-like object cannot be attacked, because it is merely a background object), you will come to two more Jirai that are generating an electric force-field in a "north-western" direction. Once you have fired off enough shots at both of these to destroy them, activate your Vernier jump-jets in order to be carried up to the next platform - and once you've landed on the next platform, two White Bombs will come hovering towards you as you'll come to three more Jirai, that are generating an electric force-field in a "northern" direction. Once you've fired enough shots at each of them to destroy them, drop off the edge of the platform to land upon another static conveyor belt below, as three more Karura and a fourth Raiden come marching towards you, while firing shots at you; once you have fired out enough of your own shots at each of them, to destroy them, continue marching to the right, as a Dakishiosu comes marching towards you while firing shots at you. Once you have fired enough of your own shots at it, to destroy it, another elevating platform will come down from the top of a lift shaft; once you have marched onto it, a third Green Bomb will come hovering towards you as the platform starts going upwards again. Once you have fired enough shots at the Green Bomb to destroy it and the elevating platform has reached the top of its shaft, continue marching to the right as you'll come to two more Jirai that are generating an electric force-field in a "north-eastern" direction - and once you fire enough shots at both of these to destroy them, two more Dakishiosu will come marching towards you, while firing shots at you. Once you have fired enough of your own shots at both of them to destroy them, two more Karura and another Haken will come marching towards you, while firing shots at you, as two more White Bombs come hovering towards you; once you have fired enough of your own shots at each of them to destroy them, a fourth Green Bomb and a fifth White Bomb will come hovering towards you. Once you have fired off enough shots at both of them to destroy them drop off the edge of the platform as a fifth Green Bomb comes hovering towards you - and once you have fired off enough shots at it to destroy it and landed a fifth Raiden will come marching towards you while firing shots at you. Once you've fired enough of your own shots at it to destroy it continue marching to the right as a sixth White Bomb comes hovering towards you; once you've fired enough shots at it to destroy it, two more Karura will drop down in front of you. Once you've fired enough shots at both of them, to destroy them, you'll come up to a third elevating platform - and once you have marched onto it, two more Karura will drop down (in front of you). Once you've fired enough shots at both of them to destroy them, the platform will start going upwards; once the platform has reached the top of its shaft, continue marching to the right as a fourth Dakishiosu comes marching towards you (while firing shots at you). Once you've fired enough of your own shots at this to destroy it, a seventh White Bomb will start hovering towards you - and once you've fired enough shots at it to destroy it you'll come to three more Jirai which are generating an electric force-field in a "northern" direction. Once you have fired enough shots at each of these to destroy them, drop down off the edge of the platform to land on a fourth static conveyor belt below, as two more Karura drop down behind you and start firing shots at you; once you've turned back to the left and fired enough of your own shots at both of them to destroy them, turn back to the right and continue marching in that direction as a third Haken marches towards you while firing shots at you from behind. Once you've turned back to the left and fired off enough of your own shots at it to destroy it, turn back to the right and continue marching in that direction, as a sixth Raiden comes marching towards you while firing shots at you - and once you have fired enough of your own shots at it to destroy it, drop down off the edge of the platform to fall off the bottom of the screen. Once Sygnus disappears off the bottom of the screen (he will not die as a result of it), the text "CONGRATULATIONS! ROUND 3 CLEARED." will appear on the screen; you will then receive 10 bonus points for every tenth of a second you have remaining, and the text "CONTINUED ON NEXT ROUND" will then appear on the screen before it fades back out to Sygnus's operator in his cockpit, who will now proceed onto the territorial planet of Zone.Y.Jounis. There is now only one more round left to be cleared for the initial strike of the game.
