After the rescue mission is completed, Ike and company get scolded by Commander Greil and Titania. Otherwise, life returns to normal and Ike is even sent on another mission, this time to clear out some Pirates who are stealing from a small village. After meeting with a villager who explains the details further, you head out and begin your mission.

Walkthrough[edit]

This is the first level for which you can prepare beforehand. The menu that appears as you begin is a useful one when used correctly. The first thing you should do is reposition Gatrie so that he is in front of Shinon. This is a sound formation, but the positions of Shinon and Titania can be swapped for just as much effect. After this you can trade with other members of the group who aren't there, making life much easier. Trade Gatrie's iron lance with Oscar and make sure Ike has the steel sword from chapter one in his inventory. If one of your characters is lacking a vulnerary, borrow one off Boyd or Oscar, as you don't play as them again until chapter 5.

Using Shinon
Because Shinon lacks a bow, he cannot attack enemies on the enemy phase unless they attack him from a distance. Because of this, try to limit his action on the enemy phase.

Now, after saving, begin the mission. Send Titania forward to deal with the large cluster of enemies in front of the ship, leaving Shinon to visit the house and Ike and Gatrie to kill off the enemies closest to their starting positions. Then send them to help Titania deal with any enemies that she failed to kill on their next turn. Once all the enemies from the ship have been killed, advance your units onto the ship. Let Ike talk to Marcia and kill off her assailants using Gatrie and Shinon. Finally, send Titania to the other end of the ship to kill off the boss to complete the chapter.

Now that you've won, you watch Titania being told she should be in the Royal knights. Although she doesn't like the idea, Gatrie and Shinon are more than happy to become royal knights of Crimea.
