When you've reached Sunshine Seashore, Pinkle will contact you for some unimportant info after which a strange looking boy will walk past you. He is known as the Look-What-I-Found Kid. This character always holds the map for the island, so follow him and buy the map from him for 50 rupees. Go back and walk a little more to the north to meet Aba again. If you want, follow her new training course. After that, follow the southern shore to find a construction worker named Duke. Talk to him and pay him 99 rupees to fix the bridge. Open your map (open your rucksack and look at the upper screen) to find a red and yellow square displayed on it in the upper right area. This is the symbol of the Bodyguard Salons where you can hire bodyguards. Since Teddy left, you need a new one. Go to the Bodyguard Salon area. There are three houses there. The third one houses the Official Bodyguard Fan Club whose members all are eager to give you information about the bodyguards.

If you don't care about what they have to say, just enter the second house. Ring the bell and talk with the Salona behind the counter. Now talk to any of the three bodyguards to get a chance to hire him/her. If you attempt to hire a bodyguard, you have to pay commission and then offer the bodyguard an amount of money you deem reasonable. Offer too low and you'll only lose the commission money. Leave when you have hired the bodyguard of your choice. Go a little to the south to find a higher area with stairs. You'll see something paper-like left of the stairs. Touch it to find a ninja. He'll say a few things and then leave. You'll encounter him a couple of times on the various islands of the first continent so keep your eyes open for him.

For now, head back to Hometown Prairie. You could use the bridge you got Duke to repair earlier, but it's easier to fly home by opening your rucksack and pushing the balloon button. This will cause your bodyguard to stay behind, but he'll be right at your side as soon as you leave Hometown Prairie. Go to Port Town. Talk to the seemingly upset Guard to find out his wife is ill. Keep walking to find a boy with a pig nose. His name is Dave. Talk to him and see his Big Bro walk past. Next to Dave is the Jeweller who will talk to you once you pay him 27 rupees. Continue to the third screen to find another new character, Missy. She mentions she's working on a new medicine and asks you to bring her Minced Meat and Ground Shell. If you don't have them, walk to the bridge on the northern shore of Hometown Prairie. The pigs roaming around here carry Minced Meat. To get Ground Shell, go up the bridge and walk to Sunshine Seashore. You'll see "Big Bro". Follow him from a distance and talk to him when he has stopped to get a new Bottle.

Go south to find two purple shrimps. Since these enemies hold Ground Shells, kill them to get the second ingredient. Bring them to Missy to receive the Tingly recipe. Go home and try creating Tingly. If successful, put it in a Bottle and give it to the Guard. Ask 960 rupees for curing his wife. Go to the Western Pool and donate 1000 rupees. Before you can go on on your adventure, Uncle Rupee will give you your first Rupee Good. Now head to the other side of the pool to go to the third island, Cape Treasure.

Spoiler

The broken bridge near Starfish Stage leads to the Foreman. Once you repair every single bridge, go to the one leading to the Foreman. You will get a Rupee Good and rupees back from Duke, Judge, and Duko.
