Stage 6[edit]

Enemies: 92

Once your Fighters have come flying up into view from the bottom of the screen, and the background has faded back in, a wormhole shall open up at the top of the screen as sixteen Zako, eight Goei and two Yuubaku Mushi emerge from it while firing a hail of bullets down at you; once you have fired a shot at as many of them as you can to kill them, a maximum of two Goei will fly off the top of the screen, while a maximum of two more fly down towards your Fighters (the other remaining enemies shall take their places in the formation). Once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them another wormhole will open at the top of the screen as twenty more Goei, two Boss Galagas and two Boss Choucho emerge from it while firing another hail of bullets down at you - and once you fire a single shot at as many of the Goei as you can to kill them (and two shots at as many of the Boss Galaga and Boss Choucho as you can to kill them) a maximum of six of the Goei will fly down towards your Fighters (the other remaining enemies will again take their places in the formation). Once you've fired a shot at each of them to kill them any remaining enemies in the formation will start to attack your Fighters; once you have fired a single shot at each of the remaining Zako, Goei and Yuubaku Mushi to kill them (and two shots at each of the remaining Boss Galagas and Boss Choucho to kill them), a third wormhole will open in the centre of the screen as eighteen more Zako, eighteen more Goei, four more Boss Choucho and two more Yuubaku Mushi emerge from it while firing a third hail of bullets down at you. Once you have fired a single shot at as many of the Zako, Goei, and Yuubaku Mushi as you can to kill them (and two shots at as many of the Boss Choucho as you can to kill them), a maximum of two of the Zako will fly down towards the Fighters (the other remaining enemies will take their places in another formation) - and once you fire a shot at each of them, to kill them, any remaining enemies in this second formation will start to attack the Fighters. Once you have fired a single shot at each of the remaining Zako, Goei and Yuubaku Mushi (and two shots at each of the remaining Boss Choucho) to kill them, your Fighters shall fly up off the top of the screen as the text "STAGE CLEAR!!" appears on it; it is also worth noting that if a Boss Choucho tries to capture you as a Blue Dual Fighter, it will only capture one half of it, so if you manage to kill the offending Boss Choucho before your Fighter reaches it, it'll get freed, restoring your Blue Dual Fighter. However, for those of you who can't manage to kill the offending Boss Choucho in time, your captured Fighter will turn gray as that offending Boss Choucho flies back up to the top of the formation - and if you have more than one life remaining your next Fighter will come flying up into view from the bottom of the screen (but if you do not, the game shall end). Once either player kills the offending Boss Choucho while he is attacking, the now-retrieved Fighter will return to its original colour and fall back down to the bottom of the screen to meld with the one that retrieved it (which creates a Yellow Dual Fighter).

Stage 7[edit]

Enemies: 68

Once your Fighters have come flying up into view from the bottom of the screen and the background has faded back in, the text "NEBULA ZONE" will appear on the screen; thirty-two wormholes will then open up in the centre of the screen as four Boss Galagas, twelve Goei and sixteen Zako emerge from them, and circle around while firing a hail of bullets down at you, then take their places in the formation. Once you've fired out a single shot at as many of the Zako and Goei as you can to kill them (and two shots at as many of the Boss Galagas as you can to kill them), a Microcosm Flower shall come flying down into view from the top of the screen - and twenty more Zako and fifteen more Goei will emerge from it and circle around while firing another hail of bullets down at you. Once you've fired out a single shot at each of the Zako and Goei to kill them, and enough shots at the Microcosm Flower to kill it, your Fighters will fly up off the top of the screen, as the text "STAGE CLEAR!!" appears on it (however, if you don't kill the Microcosm Flower or every one of the thirty-five enemies who emerged from it after a short period of time, they will fly off the top of the screen to end the stage).

Stage 8[edit]

Enemies: 99

Once your Fighters have come flying up into view from the bottom of the screen, and the background has faded back in, six Zako and six Goei will come flying into view from the left side of the screen, and circle around while firing a hail of bullets down at you; once you have fired a shot at as many of them as you can to kill them, a maximum of one of the Zako and one of the Goei will fly off the top of the screen, while a maximum of one more of each will fly down towards your Fighters (the other remaining enemies will take their places in the formation). Once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them five more Goei, five Boss Galagas, and a Yuubaku Mushi will fly into view from the right side of the screen and circle around while firing a second hail of bullets down at you - and once you've fired out a single shot at as many of the Goei and Yuubaku Mushi as you can to kill them (along with two shots at as many of the Boss Galagas as you can to kill them), a maximum of one of the Boss Galaga and one of the Goei will fly off the top of the screen, while a maximum of another Goei and the Yuubaku Mushi will fly down towards your Fighters (the other remaining enemies will again take their places in the formation). Once you have fired off a single shot at each of the Goei and Yuubaku Mushi to kill them (and two shots at the Boss Galaga to kill him), any remaining enemies in the formation will start to attack your Fighters; once you've fired a single shot at each of the remaining Zako and Goei to kill them (and two shots at each of the remaining Boss Galagas to kill them), two more Yuubaku Mushi and ten more Goei will come flying into view from the left side of the screen and circle around while firing a third hail of bullets down at you. Once you fire off a shot at as many of them as you can to kill them, a maximum of four Goei will fly away off the top of the screen, while a maximum of four more Goei will fly down towards the Fighters (the other remaining enemies will take their places in a second formation) - and once you have fired off a shot at each of them to kill them two more Yuubaku Mushi and ten more Zako shall come flying into view from the right side of the screen and circle around while firing a fourth hail of bullets down at you. Once you have fired a shot at as many of them as you can to kill them, a maximum of two of the Zako will fly off the top of the screen, while a maximum of one more of the Zako and one of the Yuubaku Mushi fly down towards your Fighters (other remaining enemies will again take their places in that second formation); once you have fired a shot at each of these, to kill them, two groups of a Yuubaku Mushi and five more Zako will come flying into view from the left and right sides of the screen, and circle around while firing a fifth hail of bullets down at you. Once you've fired a shot at as many of these as you can to kill them, a maximum of four of the Zako will fly off the top of the screen while a maximum of three more of the Zako and one of the Yuubaku Mushi will fly down towards your Fighters (all other remaining enemies will once again take their places in the second formation) - and once you have fired a shot at each of these to kill them, three more Boss Galagas, six more Goei, three more Yuubaku Mushi, and eight Amembo will come flying into view from the screen's right side and circle around while firing a sixth hail of bullets down at you. Once you fire a single shot at as many of the Goei, Yuubaku Mushi and Amembo as you can to kill them (and two shots at as many of the Boss Galagas as you can, to kill them), a maximum of one Boss Galaga and all three Yuubaku Mushi will fly off the right side of the screen (all other remaining enemies will yet again take their places in the second formation); once you've fired a single shot at each of the Yuubaku Mushi to kill them (and two shots at the Boss Galaga to kill him), three more Boss Galagas, six more Goei, three more Yuubaku Mushi and eight more Amembo shall come flying into view from the screen's left side while firing a seventh and final hail of bullets down at you. Once you've fired out a single shot at as many of the Goei, Yuubaku Mushi, and Amembo as you can, to kill them (along with two shots at as many of the Boss Galagas as you can to kill them), a maximum of one Boss Galaga and all three Yuubaku Mushi will fly off the left side of the screen (all other remaining enemies will, for a fifth time, take their places in that second formation) - and once you've fired a single shot at each of the Yuubaku Mushi to kill them (and two shots at the Boss Galaga to kill him), all remaining enemies in the second formation shall start to attack your Fighters. Once you've fired a single shot at each of the remaining Zako, Goei, Yuubaku Mushi and Amembo to kill them (and two shots at each of the remaining Boss Galagas to kill them) your Fighters will fly up off the top of the screen as the text "STAGE CLEAR!!" appears and proceed to Stage 9.

Stage 9[edit]

Enemies: 115

Once your Fighters have come flying up into view from the bottom of the screen (and that background has faded back in), three Yuubaku Mushi and five Ogawamushi shall come flying down into view from the top of the screen while firing a hail of bullets down at you; once you have fired a shot at as many of these as you can to kill them, any remaining ones will fly off the top of the screen. Two Microcosm Flowers will then come flying into view from the left and right sides of the screen as sixteen Zako, twelve Goei, two Boss Galagas and four Boss Choucho come flying down from the top of it while firing off another hail of bullets down at you - and once you fire off a single shot at as many of the Zako and Goei as you can to kill them (along with two shots at as many of the Boss Galagas and Boss Choucho as you can to kill them (and enough shots at both of the Microcosm Flowers to kill them), a maximum of both Boss Galagas and Microcosm Flowers shall fly off the left and right sides of the screen (the other remaining enemies will take their places in the formation). Once you've fired off two shots at both of the Boss Galagas to kill them (and enough shots at both of the Microcosm Flowers to kill them) all remaining enemies in the formation will start to attack your Fighters; once you have fired off a single shot at each of the remaining Zako and Goei to kill them (and two shots at each of the remaining Boss Choucho to kill them), a Big Bee and two more Zako will come flying down into view from the top of the screen while firing a third hail of bullets down at you. Once you have fired a single shot at both of the Zako to kill them (and enough shots at the Big Bee to kill him) a wormhole will open up in the centre of the screen as twenty-two more Zako, six more Ogawamushi, two more Boss Choucho and two more Boss Galagas emerge from it while firing a fourth hail of bullets down at you, then take their places in another formation - and once you've fired a single shot at as many of the Zako and Ogawamushi as you can to kill them (along with two shots at as many of the Boss Choucho and Boss Galagas as you can to kill them), all remaining enemies in the second formation will begin to attack your Fighters. Once you've fired a single shot at each of the remaining Zako and Ogawamushi to kill them (along with two shots at each of the remaining Boss Choucho and Boss Galagas, to kill them), two more Microcosm Flowers shall fly into view from the left and right sides of the screen as sixteen more Zako, twelve more Goei, two more Boss Galagas and four more Boss Choucho come flying down from its top while firing a fifth and last hail of bullets down at you; once you fire a single shot at as many of the Zako and Goei as you can to kill them, two shots at as many of the Boss Galagas and Boss Choucho as you can to kill them and enough shots at both of the Microcosm Flowers to kill them, a maximum of both Boss Galagas and Microcosm Flowers will fly off the left and right sides of the screen, while the other remaining enemies take their places in a third formation. All the remaining enemies in this third formation will now begin to attack your Fighters - and once you've fired a single shot at each of the remaining Zako and Goei to kill them, along with two shots at each of the remaining Boss Galagas and Boss Choucho to kill them, your Fighters will fly up off the screen's top as the text "STAGE CLEAR!!" appears and proceed to Stage 10.

Stage 10 (Challenging Stage)[edit]

Enemies: 40 (non-attacking)

Once your Fighters have come flying up into view from the bottom of the screen, and the background has faded back in again, the text "CHALLENGING STAGE" shall fly into view from the right side of the screen and off its left side; the background will now scroll upwards as two wormholes open up at the top of the screen, from which six Zako and six Boss Galagas will emerge and circle around. Once you have fired a single shot at each of the Zako to kill them (and two shots at each of the Boss Galagas to kill them) the background shall scroll to the south-west and down as sixteen more wormholes open up in the centre of the screen, from which eight more Zako and eight Goei shall emerge and bounce off the right, top, and left sides of the screen as the background scrolls to the north-east, to the left, and to the right in succession, then changes as the formation rotates clockwise and anticlockwise - and once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them, the background shall scroll to the north-east and to the right as two Boss Tentoumushi and four Zako come flying down into view from the top-left corner of the screen. Once you've fired two shots at both of the Boss Tentoumushi to kill them (and a single shot at each of the Zako to kill them), two more Boss Tentoumushi and four more Zako will fly down from the screen's top-right corner; once you have fired two shots at both of the Boss Tentoumushi to kill them (along with a single shot at each of the Zako to kill them) your Fighters shall fly up off the top of the screen (and much like this game's first Challenging Stage, the text of "RESULTS" shall then fly onto the screen from its top-right corner).

In one-player mode the player's number of hits and bonus of 100 points per hit will be tabulated in the centre of the screen, and if he or she managed to kill all forty enemies, the text of "PERFECT! SPECIAL BONUS 10000 PTS" will appear below it; however, in two-player mode, both players' numbers of hits and bonuses of 100 points per hit will be tabulated on the left and right sides of the screen and the text "PERFECT! SPECIAL BONUS 10000 PTS" shall appear under that of the higher one (even if that player did not actually kill all forty enemies). Your Fighters shall now proceed to the Galaxy Zone.

Note: If you do not move your Fighter or fire any shots at the enemies during this stage, the text of "LUCKY! AUDIENCE BONUS 7650 PTS" will appear below your number of hits (which will obviously be 0) and bonus (which will obviously be "NONE") at the end of it; 7650 is Namco's goroawase number.
