There are not many different enemies in the game, and the few that there are are not easily classified. After experiencing these enemies many times will you be able to recognize them.

Like the previous game, the Locust horde remains as the main antagonist. However, there are additional types of Lambert Locusts that make an appearance here, and that they are not working for the locust.

All variations of Butchers are large Locusts. The standard Boomer is armed with a grenade launcher.

The Butchers are a type of Boomer armed with close combat knives. Being butchers for the Locust society, they are not as effective in battle as the other types.

Like the Butcher, this type attacks in close combat. in addition, they are armed with their Boomshield which they can extend to protect themselves if they are being fire upon. They are also armed with flails, and have to get near their target in order to attack.
