- Move your characters, make selections
- Accept, talk to people, access the status menu

- Pauses the game, opens the game menu (Save, Sleep, Settings)
- Opens the status menu (Psynergy, Djinn, Items, and Status)
- These buttons are used for psynergy shortcuts (in towns, dungeons, etc.). On the World Map, zooms the camera out, letting you see more of the map, and shows the entire World Map and marks the towns, any landmarks, and your position.
