Controls[edit]

  • Lightgun: Use the lightgun to direct your gunsight around the screen; player 1 is given the codename of "ZIP" (and his score is displayed on the left side of the screen), and player 2 is given the codename of "ZAP" (and his score is on that right side). Squeeze the trigger to fire a shot from the gun.
  • 1 or 2 Player Buttons: Push these buttons to begin the game as player 1 (ZIP) or player 2 (ZAP).

Normal Ghosts[edit]

GL Wimpy.gif GL Grace.gif GL Smiley Dan.gif GL Gulp.gif There's four different types of normal ghost; from left to right: Wimpy (blue), Grace (yellow), Smiley Dan (green) and Gulp (red). 1 point - and a Smiley Dan piloting a flying saucer, who takes more than just a single hit to defeat, also happens to be the boss of the game's first scene.

Bonus Ghosts[edit]

GL Hamburger.gif GL Football.gif GL Fire.gif GL Flame.gif GL Bubble.gif GL Spring.gif GL Jacket.gif There's seven types of bonus ghost; from left to right: Hamburger, Football, Fire, Flame, Bubble, Spring and Jacket. 2-5 points - and the Hamburgers also look somewhat like the Giant Burgers out of Marvel Land, which also ran on Namco's System 2 hardware.

Boss Ghosts[edit]

GL Boss UFO.gif GL Boss Bug.gif GL Boss Big Fire.gif GL Boss Typhoon.gif There's four different boss ghosts; from left to right: Boss UFO (Scene 1), Boss Bug (Scene 2), Boss Big Fire (Scene 3), and Boss Typhoon (Scene 4). Once defeated, the text "SCENE X CLEAR!" (X being the scene number) will appear on the screen.
