Potemkin is a slave working under the empire of Zepp. Serving as an unwilling soldier in the military, he is sent to fight in the tournament by order of Zepp Military superior Sergeant Gabriel. Despite his appearance, Potemkin is actually an intelligent and thoughtful individual. He has a strong dislike of fighting, only doing so when it is absolutely necessary.
Potemkin is the very personification of strength; he looks like a brute, and he attacks like one. Players looking for a quick-paced fighter should look past Potemkin. His fighting style is simple and straightforward in that he can't chain many attacks to form powerful combos, but the few attacks he can string together pack a powerful punch. Typically, he's also slow, but one quick combo of Chipp's may cause the same amount of damage as only a few attacks from Potemkin. Range is another one of his strong points, so as long as you keep your opponent away from you, speed shouldn't be much of a problem. Though Potemkin is slow and his simple combos don't leave much to the imagination, his strength, range, and the simplicity of his fighting style makes him a force to be reckoned with who anyone can pick up and play as.
