16 Continues[edit]
At the title screen, press 
to access the game menu. Then press:
If successful, you will hear a jingle indicating that you now have 16 continues instead of the usual 2.
Password Entry[edit]
At the title screen, press to access the game menu. Then press:
If successful, you will hear a jingle and a new word will appear on the menu, Mikonotori (みことのり? lit. decree). Press from here to access the password entry screen. Enter the following passwords for different effects.
