Heroes Charge is a free to play game financed through micro transactions, and the end-game content is heavily accelerated if paid for. This guide is meant to optimize play for free players, this is because paid players can have unlimited benefits as long as they continue to pay.

Daily checklist[edit]

Every day, do the following to achieve maximum team points and buff up your characters as much as you can:

  • Use up all of your 10 skill points so that they start to regenerate over time.
  • Open five free bronze chests, and a gold chest if the free open is available.
  • Fight in five arena matches.
  • Complete two time rifts. (team level 10? required)
  • Complete five trials. (team level 15? required)
  • Enchant one item. (team level 20? required)
  • Try to complete a crusade.
  • Put two of your heroes in your guild as mercenaries (level 30? required). Remove them to collect the gold they generate, then re-add to get the team experience bonus.
  • Dig a cave (team level 44 required).
  • Use up all of your stamina effectively (hunt for items that you need to gear up your best team).
    • Pay 50 gems for 120 stamina. This depends on your gem reserve, but is a good way to spend your gems.
  • Use Midas once (on the main menu, click on the yellow plus sign next to your gold total, it costs 10 gems).
  • Outland Portal (team level 55 required).
  • Grand Arena (team level 60 required).

Efficient rotation[edit]

Most of the features in Heroes Charge have cooldowns, meaning you cannot repeat them right away. As such, you should rotate between features until your daily checklist is complete. The best rotation is:

  • Spend skill points (3 minute cooldown for one, or 30 minute cooldown for 10)
  • Free bronze chest (10 minute cooldown)
  • Arena (10 minute cooldown)
  • Trial (10 minute cooldown). Since there are five chances for these, use them before Time Rift.
  • Time Rift (10 minute cooldown).
  • Spend all of your stamina (6 minute cooldown per stamina).

Heroes[edit]

Acquiring new heroes, leveling, equipping, promoting, and evolving them are the main goals of the game. This is how you get stronger. Having new heroes allows you to create unique team compositions to overcome the opposition in unexpected ways.

Modes[edit]

Campaign[edit]

This is the first available mode. You will begin with Admiral, and as you go through the first stages you will acquire a full team of five heroes (Admiral, DeTheta, Ember, Archer, and Chaplain).

As you go along, the only times you will stop progressing in campaign is when you are too weak to defeat a stage. If the defeat was heavy, wait a while before attempting it again - upgrade your characters much further before trying again. A failed attempt is worth nothing, so go back to previous stages and repeatedly complete them to acquire the gear you need to promote your team.
