Items are used automatically as soon as you pick them up. Here is the list:

  • Crystal Vial restores 10 of your HP.
  • Blue mana gives you some blue energy for your weapons. The quantity of mana gained depends on the size of triangular mana bonus.
  • Green mana gives you some green energy for your weapons. The quantity of mana gained depends on the size of cubical mana bonus.
  • Combined mana gives you both types of mana. The quantity of mana gained depends on the size of octal mana bonus.
  • Amulet of Protection raises your armor value. The amount of AC gained depends on your class.
  • Breastplate raises your armor value. The amount of AC gained depends on your class.
  • Bracers raise your armor value. The amount of AC gained depends on your class.
  • Helmet raises your armor value. The amount of AC gained depends on your class.
  • Ring of Flight allows you to flight for a few minutes. Unlike Wings of Wrath in previous games of the series, this Ring is used automatically. There is a warning before this artifact wears out, giving you a hint when to land not to receive damage from falling.
  • Ring of Reflection reflects some of enemies’ projectiles (but not all of them). The bad thing about this artifact is that there is no seeming way to predict which projectiles will be deflected and which won’t. Another bad thing is that each time a projectile is deflected, some of the Ring’s power is lost, making it wear down faster.
  • Ring of Regeneration slowly restores your HP to the maximum. When you don’t need it, the Ring stops wearing out until you need its effect again.
  • Ring of Water Breathing activates as soon as you are about to begin drowning, preventing you from losing HP from insufficient air.
