Controls[edit]

  • Joystick: Use the 8-way joystick to direct the player on your chosen team, who currently has the blue (for 1P) or red (for 2P) shadow underneath his feet, round the pitch; if only one player's playing, one of the coloured shadows (depending on which control set is not being used) will not be present.
  • Kick Button: Use this button in conjunction with the stick, to make the player on your chosen team (who is currently in possession of the ball) kick it.
  • 1 or 2 Player Buttons: Push these buttons to begin the game as player 1 or player 2; unlike with V-Shoot, you cannot use them to call a substitution during the match. Also, because the players' names are only displayed at the bottom of the screen, and during penalty kicks, they're not shown here.
