Playable Characters[edit]

Jak (Michael Erwin)
Jak is the hero of the previous game, Jak and Daxter, and was transported to Haven City against his will. He was completely silent in the first game, but with the changes brought on my an infusion of dark eco, he's found his voice.
Daxter (Max Casella)
Daxter is Jak's constant companion. Originally human, he was turned into an ottsel (somewhere between an otter and and a weasel) when he fell into a vat of dark eco at the start of the first game.

NPCs[edit]

Samos, the Sage (Warren Burton)
Samos was Jak's mentor in the first game, and accompanied him to Haven City, though they were separated before arriving. A younger version of Samos, code name the Shadow, is the leader of the resistance group.
Kiera (Anna Garduño)
Kiera is Samos' daughter and a gifted engineer. She also made the trip to Haven City and got a job as a racing mechanic after getting separated from the others.
Baron Praxis (Clancy Brown)
Haven City's dictatorial governor. He is obsessed with keeping his power and uses the Krimzon Guard to maintain control over the city. His main enemies are the resistance who would like to replace him with the rightful ruler, and the Metal Heads who are attempting to invade the city.
Sig (Phil LaMarr)
A wastelander, or a hunter of trophies outside the city walls. Sig works for Krew, though he seems to be unaware of Krew's shadier dealings.
Onin\Pecker (Chris Cox)
Onin is an old soothsayer who lives in a modest tent in the bazaar. She doesn't speak herself and her interpreter, Pecker speaks for her, though he usually adds his own spin to what she says. Pecker seems to be some combination of monkey and parrot; perhaps he had his own encounter with dark eco like Daxter did.
Erol (David Herman)
The Baron's lakey and Haven City's champion racer. When he's not making trouble for Jak he's hitting on Kiera.
Vin (Robert Patrick Benedict)
Haven City's master electrician and an informant for the resistance. He seems too nervous to be involved in espionage though, or to be an electrician for that matter.
Ashelin (Susan Eisenberg)
A member of the Krimson Guard who is secretly working for the Underground. She also happens to be Baron Praxis' daughter.
Brutter (Alan Blumenfeld)
A Lurker who's helping the Underground since you rescued some of his fellow Lurkers.
Oracle (Micheal A, Gollom)
A Precursor artifact in the form of a large statue. It will grant additional powers for Dark Jak in return for Metal Head Gems.
Tess (Britton A Hill M.D.)
An Underground agent working undercover as a bartender at Krew's saloon.
Kor (Sherman Howard)
An old man who seems to be an important figure in the Underground.
Mar
Mar doesn't actually appear in the game, being long dead when the story takes place. But he does play a role as the founding father of Haven City. Mar's statue dominates the area south of the palace and many important items in the game are Mar related.
The Kid
A child with mysterious origins. Because of the artifact he was found with, the Underground believe he's the rightful ruler of Haven City and that it's his destiny to use the Precursor Stone to defeat the Metal Heads.
Krew (William Minkin)
The owner of the Hip Hog Saloon. He's extremely overweight and uses some kind of antigravity chair to get around. He also seems to have a hand in every shady deal in Haven City.
Torn (William Mitchel)
In charge of day to day operations for the Underground. He acts as the Shadow's gatekeeper so you follow his orders until the Shadow wants to meet you.
Jinx (William Mitchel), Mog (Alan Blumenfeld) & Grim (Alan Blumenfeld)
Three of Krew's henchmen.

Factions[edit]

Krimzon Guard
The city's military which Baron Praxis uses to enforce his rule.
Metal Heads
A race of evil aliens who want to invade Haven City. Mar build the city and its defense systems as protection against the Metal Heads.
Precursors
The founders of a great civilization before they were wiped out by the Metal Heads. All that remains of them are artifacts and temples.

Beast-like humanoids that appeared as enemies in Jak and Daxter, but here they are peaceful.
