Story[edit]
The story begins with Jak and Daxter, making their way to Misty Island, against Samos', the Green Sages, demands. After arriving, they see two people addressing an army of evil Lurkers. The duo prepare to leave, but are attacked by a large Lurker. Jak manages to destroy it using a barrel of Eco, but the explosion throws Daxter into a pool of Dark Eco. Daxter flies back out of the pit, transformed into an ottsel, a hybrid of an otter and a weasel. Returning to their village of Sandover, they seek help from Samos who states that only Gol Acheron and his sister Maia, the Sage of Dark Eco who lives far to the North, could change Daxter back.
Jak and Daxter must collect power cells to make their way North. Along the way, they find that each of the other Eco Sages have been kidnapped by Gol and Maia to power a precursor robot to take over the world and shape it, with dark eco, into their image. Jak and Daxter save the other sages and destroy the robot with Gol and Maia in it, with the use of the rare White Eco.
