The bonus levels are special areas where you can get many pumpkins and extra lives, as well as free two more hostages, in addition to those present in the normal levels. These are always downhill paths, where you will have to slide to the finish line, without having the chance to stop or go back, collecting as many items as possible and being careful not to end up off the path. Even in these particular areas, you can in fact die. The entrance to these secret levels is sometimes somewhat hidden and you have to look for it. In addition, to be able to access it, you must have a power level at least equal to that indicated on the entrance. Often therefore, these levels are not immediately accessible, but it is necessary to return to the place after reaching the required minimum power level. There is a bonus level in each of the game areas, with the exception of the last one, the Knarf’s Forest.

Museum[edit]

Power required: 2
Push the statue right in front of the beginning of the level to discover the entrance.

This bonus area is a single long slide. You will simply have to avoid the ruins you encounter along the way and collect as many items as possible. On some occasions you will have the possibility to choose whether to go right or left, but the two paths rejoin soon after. Along the way you will find several orange pumpkins but also some extra lives and golden pumpkins. Apart from a couple of tight corners, one halfway through and one just before the finish, there are no major difficulties. At the bottom, you will find both hostages to free by hitting the winches in front of them. Then go up the stairs to complete the level.

Green Park[edit]

Power required: 8
At the end of the long descent, in the "Root Canal" section there is a yellow manhole on the ground, which is the entrance.

For a bonus level, this is downright treacherous. The setting is the same as the level you just faced. There are no roots attacking you here, but there are several gaps along the way. To overcome them you will have to jump at the right moment, or you will inevitably fall into the void. You will also have to pay attention to the numerous TNT boxes scattered along the slope. There are a lot of extra lives to collect, but many of them are difficult to reach. Also be very careful not to miss the two winches that allow you to free the hostages, which are in cavities along the descent, which can easily be mistaken for gaps. One is more or less in the middle of the route and the other just before the finish line. If you miss them, you should sacrifice a life and restart the level from the beginning. After taking everything, jump on the water jet on the side of the finish line to exit the level.

Cemetery[edit]

Power required: 5
Push the square block of stone just beyond the pool of water, in the initial area.

This bonus level is divided into three parts. In fact, along the descent there are two flat interludes, in which you will also find a check box. The first part is the simplest, the only pitfall is the skeletal hands sticking out of the ground. After the first interlude, however, things get complicated and in addition to the hands, you will also have to pay attention to several hanging blades. Finally, from the second interlude onwards, to proceed you will also have to catch fireflies to illuminate the surrounding area for a certain period of time. So be careful not to miss the fireflies along the descent, or you will be left in the dark. In the flat parts, you will have to cross a few precipices and watch out for hanging blades and intermittent flames. When you reach the bottom, you will find the two winches to free the hostages just above as many flames. You will then have to jump at the right time to reach them. After a final short flat path you will come to a chain: climb up to exit the level.

Chemical Wasteland[edit]

Power required: 7
In the starting area, just near where you start the level, is a large tube with a lid, which is very easy to spot. Open it to access the level.

A level very similar to Sludge Slides. You will find many TNT boxes along the way, but apart from that there are no particular pitfalls. Just be careful not to go off the path. Once on the bottom, you will land on a grilled floor, where you will find the two hostages to be released and the relative winches. Finally, grab the chain in the center and climb it up to complete the level.

Sewer Port[edit]

Power required: 9
In the harbor area, in a corner, there is a lifeboat that you can get on. By climbing on it, it will descend to the bottom. You will thus be able to see the access to the secret level, on the quay wall.

Very similar to the previous bonus level, albeit with a different setting. The only things you need to worry about on the way down are some very long tight turns that could get you off the track and some boxes of TNT. Eventually, you will land in a grilled area where there are the two hostages and the winches to free them. Finally grab the chain in the center and climb it up to exit the level.
