About Experience Points[edit]
Experience Points are awarded a little differently in Kalin no Tsurugi. The XP value provided in the table below is the amount of experience you will earn for defeating one instance of that enemy. When you encounter groups of an enemy, the amount of experience you get for each monster after the first is only 10% of the original monster.
The formula for experience points is given by: Where XP is the value provided in the table and n is the number of monsters you encounter in a single battle.
For example, if you were to defeat three Demi Demons, you would earn a total of 144 experience points; 120 for the first Demi Demon, and 12 for each subsequent Demi Demon.
