Kalin no Tsurugi/Enemies

About Experience Points

Experience Points are awarded a little differently in Kalin no Tsurugi. The XP value provided in the table below is the amount of experience you will earn for defeating one instance of that enemy. When you encounter groups of an enemy, the amount of experience you get for each monster after the first is only 10% of the original monster.

The formula for experience points is given by: $XP+((XP\div 10)\times (n-1))$ Where XP is the value provided in the table and n is the number of monsters you encounter in a single battle.

For example, if you were to defeat three Demi Demons, you would earn a total of 144 experience points; 120 for the first Demi Demon, and 12 for each subsequent Demi Demon.

	Goblin	6	Ankara region, West Risuania	An ugly humanoid that wields a crude ax. Don't try to fight one at Level 1.
	Orc	12	Ankara region, West Risuania	Taller than Goblins, with faces that often resemble pigs, they tend to travel in large packs.
	Insect	18	Risuania province, Taimeer province, Parutia peninsula	Gigantic insects that resemble bees, with a wingspan over 2 meters.
	Shaker	24	Risuania province, Taimeer province, Parutia peninsula	The huge brain of a demon which has grown too large for its body, and float under its own power.
	Ghoul	30	Taimeer province, Parutia peninsula	The animated body of a deceased warrior who sold his soul for greater strength.
	Gak	38	Taimeer province, Parutia peninsula	Not too dissimilar to a minotaur, these humanoid beasts attack with their fearsome horns.
	Mini	46	Eriban peninsula, Sagi Lake	Manta Rays who have collected magical enchantments that allow them to fly through the air.
	Bone Golem	54	Eriban peninsula, Sagi Lake, West Hebesu	Granted extra arms by its enchanter, Bone Golems mindlessly perform their masters bidding.
	Rock Lizard	64	Eriban peninsula, Sagi Lake, West Hebesu	With skin as tough as stone, and a powerful jaw to match, these lizards are dangerous predators.
	Paradon	74	Eriban peninsula, Sagi Lake	A huge bird with a wingspan of three meters, they are not as tough as Rock Lizards.
	Denyag	84	Hebesu Locale, Aremu Castle	A demonic barbarian; not very smart but very strong. Usually the weakest enemy in a given region.
	Crab Hugger	94	Hebesu Locale, Aremu Castle	Demonic crabs whose pincers can cut through sheets of metal. Possibly more powerful Shell Golems.
	Shell Golem	105	Hebesu Locale, Aremu Castle	A golem constructed with two lizard heads and a body surrounded by a giant tortoise shell.
	Demi Demon	120	Hebesu Locale, Aremu Castle	Not fully demon, this enemy's human side is what allows it to survive the transfer to your home dimension.

Underworld Len

	Crystal Warrior	140	Northern Central	Crystal Beasts who slay warriors reconfigure their bodies to take the form of their prey.
	Lizardman	150	Northern East	The Lizardmen that occupy Len attack quickly.
	Demon	165	Northern East	Demons are unable to survive the transfer to the Overworld and are confined to Len. They shoot fireballs.
	Aspic	180	Generally everywhere	These gigantic poisonous snakes are found almost everywhere throughout Len.
	Cyclops	200	Generally everywhere	Like Aspics, these one eyed giants can be found wandering about in Len.
	Sand Worm	210	In deserts	A gigantic caterpillar-like creature that can burrow through sand at tremendous speed. They only attack with their heads above the sand.
	Skyubak	220	In deserts	A demon whose body is made of clay. They like to remain in sandy areas to maintain their body structure.
	Hydra	130	Western Len, Near central Len	A three headed dragon with large mouths and no eyes.
	Dragonette	280	Western Len, Near central Len	Although only a child, these young dragons are incredibly fierce and breath fire.
	Lava Creature	235	Western Len	A species of large reptile that makes its home among the hottest regions of Len.
	Gargoyle	250	Western Len	Despite having the wings of a large bat, their bodies are so heavy, they are confined to the ground.
	Nellrull	150	Western Len, Central Len	From a distance, it appears to be nothing but a group of tentacles with no central body.
	Barick	150	Western Len, Central Len	A tough enemy with no neck. It's face is found at the top of its torso.
	Fly Hydra	330	Lava region	Though it has wings, it needs the heat rising off the lava to climb in the air.
	Wyvern	350	Lava region	Only slightly less dangerous than a full-fledged dragon, they attack with sharp talons and a thick tail.

	Jyaggo	85	Low	A cloud of enchanted dust, it hovers over the floor looking for intruders to choke.
	Slime Eater	80	Low (Mixed)	Though primarily known for eating slime, they are not picky eaters, and will happily eat you.
	Chill	90	Low (Mixed)	A large hulking body that lives on the blood of others, it absorbs blood through the elongated mouth.
	Spirit	210	High (Mixed)	Spirits are detached souls that roam around looking for anything living to absorb energy from.
	Wight	220	High (Mixed)	Deceased souls from the Overworld which cannot return home wander Len forever.
	Strooper	235	High	Rumored to be the result of an evil spirit inhabiting a plant, they attack with six tentacles.
	Rockgal	250	High	A rock who has been occupied by an evil spirit, they possess incredibly defensive power and equally powerful offense.

In the Volcano

	Colossus	130	Low (Mixed)	A powerful giant who swings a considerably large sword.
	Storm	430	High (Mixed)	A demonic eyeball that can create a vacuum, causing winds to whirl around it.
	Hell Angel	450	High (Mixed)	Banished from heaven, these fallen angels still possess the white wings they were given.
	Falsyst	475	High	The result of an evil spirit that inhabits a flame that rises up from the lava around the volcano.
	Demon Lord	490	High	The most powerful of the demon race take residence in the volcano.
