The Arena is the last game unlocked in Kirby Super Star. Here you will battle all the bosses in the game, two teams of mini bosses, and a singular Waddle Dee, coming to a total of 19 battles, in random order (the last boss is always Marx, the hardest boss in the game).

Between battles the Player may change their ability with one of the two random ability stands. The Player may also use any of their five Maxim tomatoes to heal; it is a good idea to conserve them because you only have one life. The good news is that before each battle in the top right corner of the screen you will see who you are fighting next, and therefore have an idea of whether or not you really need to heal.

Successful completion of the Arena will open the sound test on the game select screen, which allows you to listen to any sound or song in the game. You will also see how long it took you to beat the arena.

These are the Bosses you will face (again, in random order except Marx, who is always last). Lines containing more than one boss mean that you will face all of those (mini) bosses in a row without access to your Maxim Tomatoes.

Attacks that involve throwing enemies are especially effective against bosses, and deal heavy damage. Suplex works surprisingly well in boss fights if you know how to use it. Remember also that you can grab the stars that bosses sometimes generate.

Your guarding ability is your best friend when fighting the computer virus. You always know when his attacks are going to come, and you can't attack him back, so you have nothing to lose by just holding L Button or R Button until his attack is over.

Hammer works well for berserker players who like getting in close. The fiery hammer smash attack (Up Dpad + Y Button) deals heavy damage, and can take many bosses out in three hits or less. But don't have a helper if you do this, they have a nasty habit of hitting the boss just when your fire hammer is going, so the boss has temporary invincibility when you attack.

The stone ability is a cheap, somewhat boring, but very effective way to beat the arena, because of the fact that you are more or less invincible when in stone form, and you are never forced to come out of it.
