Artifacts are stored in your inventory when you pick them up. Use them when you need to.
- Crystal Ball is the only item you always have in your possession. Use it for a brief plot explanation for the current level. Not really useful since the plot is quite simple and the path is straightforward.
- Pamphlet is a cosmetic item which holds info about items, weapons, characters, foes and bosses you learn during the game. You keep all the information gathered by the previous characters when you switch them. Sometimes Pamphlets can provide you with useful hints.
- Rage Orb can be obtained by collecting 40 Black Diamonds. Using it will activate a special mode in which you don't spend ammo while performing your attacks. You can hold not more that 3 Rage Orbs, so gaining the 4th one will automatically activate it.
- Black Diamond is a part of a Rage Orb. Using one will use all the Black Diamonds you have providing the same effect as a Rage Orb. The more Black Diamonds you used, the longer the effect but it's always partial.
- Jack In The Box is a proximity bomb. Once you or a monster comes close, it will explode.
- Key or Ticket cannot be used directly. They unlock special doors and gates.
- Hawk Eyes work like a sniper scope. They also increase your accuracy with Zero Cannon and Magma Cannon.
