Morbid Manor 1[edit]

KISS Psycho Circus The Nightmare Child 15.png

You need to make your way to the building, but with all the monsters around shown in the cut scene the mansion looks like a real fortress.

Once you make a few steps, a Ballbuster will attack you from a tall cliff behind. Try to deal with him with your Scourge before he starts shooting at you. Before you walk under the bridge you can jump over the abyss and pick up some goodies on your right.

From under the bridge you will see another Ballbuster patrolling the walkway. He can push you to the pit with a single shot, so be careful. Since most likely he will be constantly running to and fro, he won’t be an easy target.

When you appear from under the bridge, three Gasbags will attack from behind. If you turn left, a group of Headless will appear.

Anyway, you need to go to the right and jump across gaps. Go to the gate and it will break apart revealing a Tickler behind.

When you cross the tunnel, a Spawner will start making Stumps. On top of that, another Spawner will start producing Headless being unreachable for now. To destroy it walk near the wall and turn right. You will see the next Spawner up the slope. If you’re low on health, continue down a narrow path and pick up a Health Bottle.

When you enter the breach in the wall, turn right and you will see a Spawner. No need to say that you must destroy it ASAP. On top of that, when come closer to the Spawner, a Unipsycho will appear.

When you turn around the corner, you will see a Gasbag and a working Spawner. When you start attacking, a Ballbuster and a whole lot of Headless will appear and attack you.

When you’re done with the first wave of enemies, proceed with caution. There will be two Spawners close to you, a Ballbuster patrolling the wall and a bunch of Headless. Deal with all these enemies before proceeding since you will encounter one more Spawner, two Fat Ladies and a few Headless later.

Once you’re done, you will notice an endless torrent of Stumps. Obviously, they come from a Spawner ahead. It’s up the slope and to the left. But beware! A pack of invisible Headless will attack you. They are though extremely hard to see. Invisible Headless or their limbs will sometimes turn visible when dismembered or killed.

The next enemy can be seen from below. It’s a Spawner up the slope and to the right from the mansion or right across the previous Spawner. Head through a crack and look up. You don’t even need to kill it, just wait until a few Headless from that Spawner jump down, then head up leaving these foes behind. But better kill it anyway just in case.

You will see a way down. You’ve been here before but you were walking under the bridge. Now you need to jump to the bridge. It would be nice to get rid of a Ballbuster ahead since once you appear on the bridge, a whole lot of enemies will appear including an Arachniclown, a Spawner and a bunch of Headless and Stumps.

You can charge to where the Spawner and the Arachniclown will appear to kill them as quickly as possible or you can retreat to take out monsters one by one. Anyway, don’t forget to pick up a Blood Rose on the parapet. It’s easy to miss but for some reason it doesn’t count as a secret.

Secret: Perform a well-timed jump to the parapet where the Ballbuster was. Follow that parapet until you pick up a Pamphlet.

Use a lever on the bridge near the double-sided doors. A cut scene will show a door open. It looks like no one is going to open the front gates for you. There’s not much you can do but to follow the newly-appeared path.

When you’re near the door, you will hear a Spawner’s sound. It’s right to the left of the door and it’s guarded by a Unipsycho. After a few steps you will see a ladder up, one more Spawner and one more Unipsycho.

Open the door and prepare for the worst. Now that’s a real monster mash with Spawners well-hidden on both floors, Fat Ladies patrolling the ground floor and some Ticklers which will find you whenever you are.

Secret: Climb on the biggest pile of crates on the top floor. Follow the wooden planks to pick up 2 Jacks In The Box. Travel in all directions to find more goodies.

Don’t pick up the Key until you clear all the place since a Spawner will appear once you take the item. On the other hand, you can just grab the Key and rush up the stairs out of Stumps’ reach.

Use the Key to unlock the door on the second floor and fight a few Headless. There’s not much interesting in this room except for a Health Bottle, a hook on the ceiling and a radio playing Rock and Roll All Nite.

Jump down through the crack and fight another bunch of Headless. Open the door and see a cut scene where two Ballbusters destroy a car. A horde of Headless will join them to attack you together. Use the hook in the room you came from to retreat and pick up some health.

Secret: Look up and see a Blood Rose on the metal ledge and a ring. Stand so the Blood Rose is between you and the ring and use your Scourge to pick it up.

There’s only one way now and it’s a way down. Kill the Headless and walk through the door.

Morbid Manor 2[edit]

KISS Psycho Circus The Nightmare Child 16.png

Note: This and the next levels contain a lot of monsters and not enough ammo to deal with them. It's wise to save ammo for later, especially on higher difficulty settings.

There are three Stumps waiting for you ahead. The door behind them is locked but it can be easily opened with a lever near the door. Inside you will find two Gasbags, also a Spawner is hiding in a short narrow corridor behind an open door. There are a lot of locked doors on this level but not for too long.

Open the only door you can. It’s a refrigerator with a Gasbag inside. Take a Key and open the only door which can be opened with that Key. You will unlock a Fat Lady. Luckily, she’s the only foe in that room for now.

Pull the lever to open the door to a dining room. Crates with blood will open revealing a whole lot of Headless. The door will close leaving you with these enemies, but after you kill enough it will open again. Before heading out jump into the crates to pick up two Water Icons.

There are two Ballbusters in the dining room which will attack you on sight. After you make a step to the room, more Headless will appear.

Secret: Go to the only unlit chimney and look up. You will see a ring up above. Use your Scourge to reach a Blood Rose.

Jump to a dining table and to a chimney to pick up a Key. Open the door with it and you’ll get another piece of armor – a Belt. Look left to see a Spawner. It sleeps for now but once you come closer, it will awaken. Get rid of it now so it won’t bother you later.

Go to the corner of the corridor and a Fire Strutter will jump out of the picture and attack you. Once you deal with one Strutter, another one will appear. Also a Spawner behind the corner produces Headless. The number of monsters is high, but once you destroy them all you can finally get around the corner and destroy the Spawner.

Pick up the Key behind the picture and head back to the end of the corridor. The Key unlocks a room with a chimney and some Gasbags. The face above the chimney is interactive. Shoot it to hear an eerie laugh.

Go through the chimney and you will see a way to another room and a ladder up. You can visit the room which looks like the previous one. It’s not mandatory but if you do so, don’t forget to pick up some goodies and hit another stone face to hear another laugh.

Now to the chimney and up the stairs. As soon as you climb up, some Headless will appear. There’s no Spawner which produces them, so no need to rush headlong. No matter if you turn left or right, Stumps will appear. If you follow both corridors, two packs of Stumps will appear in total.

Secret: Follow the right corridor and jump down. Try to land on an itty-bitty piece of texture and deal with a Ballbuster below from the safe spot. When you jump down, the second Ballbuster will attack you. No matter how you landed below, go to the kitchen and take a Rage Orb from the newly-opened wardrobe. Now head back through the chimney and be careful since new enemies will spawn.

Now to the left corridor in the vent and jump down. You will be attacked by a few Gasbags, also a Tickler will be waiting for you behind the corner. When you get rid of these enemies, you will see a Spawner in a distance. Approach it and destroy it as quickly as possible. Luckily, there are only Headless inside but narrow corridors make it difficult to maneuver.

There are two ways: one way up the ladder and one way down through a hole.

Secret: The way down leads to a corridor you’ve been before, but now there’s a Fat Lady in there. Go to the dining room and fight Stumps. Now to the kitchen and fight a Ballbuster. See that the doors of the left wardrobe are now open. Pick up a Blood Rose and go back to the vent.

Go up the ladder. Stumps will charge at you from the right. When you kill them, don’t forget to grab a Health Bottle if you need. Headless will spawn and attack you in the middle of the corridor. Another bunch of Headless will fall down on you where the vent turns right.

Jump down and you will be attacked by two Gasbags from different sides. Jump down again, there’s only one Gasbag but as you make a few steps, Headless will spawn behind you.

When you come closer to another way down, you will hear Stumps’ barking. You can use Jacks In The Box to deal with them from the safe spot. Anyway, you need to go down. And the vent officially ends here! The next room holds two Gasbags but since there’s plenty of room to maneuver, they won’t cause you much trouble.

Open the wooden door. If you’re not too quick and careful enough, you’ll be hit by Ballbuster’s cannonball. There are two of these enemies in the next room.

This room looks really familiar but there’s fire in a chimney. Shoot the face above the chimney anyway.

Open the door and fight two Fat Ladies. It’s possible to deal with them one by one if you stay in the room and not rush into the corridor.

If you turn right, you will encounter a Spawner at the end of the corridor. If you turn left, some Headless will drop down on your head including the invisible ones. When you’re ready to proceed, pick up a damage boost in a niche or save it for later and go to the only unlocked door. It leads to a library.

It’s quiet at first but as soon as you take the Key, a whole lot of Headless and Stumps will be spawned. There’s not much room to maneuver so be careful. The number of foes is great but sooner or later they will stop appearing.

When you’re done, open the door to the corridor and then unlock the door to the left of the library. Some Headless will attack you from under the stairs, a Spawner above will produce more of them.

Head up the stairs to appear in the same library, but on the upper floor. There are two Ballbusters, one Gasbag and a Spawner inside. Try to kill as many foes a possible without entering the room since it will awaken the Spawner... or just rush in and see what it leads to.

After you deal with the foes it’s time to look around. There's just a single wall without a portrait. There should have been Paul Stanley but there are only books instead. You will easily spot the Kisstory book which stands out of place. Use it and pick up a Key and a Blood Rose behind the bookshelf. Surprisingly, no enemies will spawn after that in this monster-infested mansion.

Now down the stairs and follow the corridor until you arrive at the doors to the last locked room. You could have noticed that you were encountering the less and less ammo in the mansion. If you followed the advice in the beginning of this level and saved ammo, you might have enough. If not, prepare your melee weapon and open the door.

The cut scene will show you two Arachniclowns and a Spawner but there are much more foes than it seems at first. Deal with hysterically laughing clowns on the first place since they are the only enemies with range attacks. There are four Spawners: two near the front doors (or at least they look like the front doors) and two on the upper floor. And don’t forget to pick up so much-needed ammo!

Secret: Go to the upper floor and turn left. See the portrait which opened a niche behind it? It’s right above the door you entered. Jump there to receive a Spirit Lance. You needed to shoot three faces above chimneys to reveal this secret.

Open the only door you can. It’s on the second floor. Finally, this extremely long level has ended!

Morbid Manor 3[edit]

KISS Psycho Circus The Nightmare Child 17.png

This place looks quiet at first, but as you come closer to a painting, a few Headless will be spawned tearing the picture apart and revealing an Air Icon but even more enemies will await in the next room including two Blademasters and some Headless. Soon an endless horde of Stumps will attack you. Not hard to guess that they come from a Spawner in the neighboring room. It’s guarded by a Ballbuster. Moreover, another Spawner is situated at the end of the corridor which leads out of the second room, so you will have to deal with enemies in all these three locations (two rooms and the corridor) to catch a breath.

Some glass showcases are smashable, but armor is protected by a damageproof glass. And what did you expect? When you’re done, you might notice that all the doors are locked. Pick up a Key behind the Spawner in the corridor and open the middle door with it.

A dance class or a disco with some Headless having fun while Fat Lady performs on stage to the Love Gun composition? Really? Anyway, you need to do through a hole on the stage but it will open only after you deal with both Spawners. Before descending don’t miss Black Diamonds behind busts.

It’s a narrow space down there with winding corridors. Even worse, two Spawners will be hidden down there, so take them out as soon as you can. Also don’t ignore a Gasbag and a Tickler.

Use the ladder up to pick up a damage boost. It’s not a secret and it’s not mandatory.

Now head up. Use the stairs and then use the trapdoor. A Spawner will be right in front of you! Another one awaits in the neighboring room near the bath. Jump into the bath and crouch if you need a cover.

The next room contains the third Spawner. Don’t linger on your way unless you want this place to become infested with enemies. Open the wardrobe in the bedroom to get a Blood Rose. The next room holds another Spawner and two Ticklers.

You can go to the corner behind the huge bed and look up. Use your Scourge to climb on the bed and get four Elemental Tablets. For some reason it’s not a secret.

There’s a Key in the next room on a coffee table. Grab it and backtrack to the beginning of the level where the next armor piece awaits for you. The door to the corridor is locked and your Key doesn’t fit, so prepare to take a walk.

When you appear in the room where the disco with Headless and the Fat Lady took place, the wall will be crushed by a Strongman. There will be a Spawner behind him which produces Stumps. Sounds dangerous but Stumps will spit fire projectiles at you and most likely hit the Strongman instead driving his attention to them. You will be able to get rid of the Spawner while the Storngman is busy.

Needless to say what to do next. Just take the Elder Vest and the Key from the display case. Now to the last room in the corridor. There you will meet a Ballbuster and two Spawners among the most dangerous enemies. You’ll also see some Headless and Stumps which are numerous and thus annoying but you must have already got used to them.

Secret: Come closer to the lever and turn left. You will see a slope hidden in the shadows. Follow it to take Hawk Eyes.

Pull the lever to open the way to an attic. As usual, the ground floor is swarmed with small enemies. But beware of three Spawners and three Unipsychoes on crates and girders. Luckily, you don’t have to kill anyone here, so if you’re skilled in dodging you can just pull the lever and rush up the stairs.

Secret: Look for a big wooden crate which can be destroyed and destroy it. A few small crates will appear which can be used to climb up. Pick up a Health Bottle and some other useful items from the girders. If your jumping skill is good enough, you will be able to reach a Blood Rose.

But pulling the lever frees four Ballbusters and a Tickler. Once you enter the door they came out of, a Spawner will start producing foes. You can destroy it but you can go up the stars and not be afraid that enemies will attack you from behind – they are pretty clumsy.

You will meet some Stumps on the way and some really annoying invincible green energyball-spitting things. Your last foe to encounter there is a Spawner. After destroying it you can finally reach the topmost part of the mansion and use the mirror. Don’t you think that something’s a bit off with your reflection?
