Kram is an arcade game that was put out by Taito America Corporation in 1982; it runs on an altered version of the company's Qix hardware initially used for Space Dungeon and The Electric Yo-Yo (two Motorola M6809s running at 1.25 MHz and a Motorola M6802 running at 921.6 KHz, with one added Motorola M68705 running at 1 MHz). The player must use an eight-way joystick to take control of the eponymous "Kram", by directing him around a playfield towards eight moving targets (that start each round in the orange circles on the left and right sides of the playfield) with an intention of "kramming" them for points - and the targets' value shall increase for each one he "krams" in succession without getting killed by the Skulls and Rippers which start each round in the five orange circles at the top of the playfield. If the player holds the game's first button down while directing Kram, he will erect walls (walls are also erected in predetermined positions on the playfield at the start of each round) to stop the Skulls from reaching him (but the Rippers can destroy both his walls and the pre-erected ones); also, if the player should inadvertently block Kram in and leave him unable to move, they can press the game's second button to make him "bust out" and destroy all the walls in his immediate vicinity.
