Kuri Kinton ending.png

Once you've inserted your coin into the cabinet of Taito Corporation's 1988 beat 'em up arcade game, Kuri Kinton, you will have to press its Start Button to begin; during gameplay, Kinton's energy bar (which is twelve fragments long, and if he should get attacked by an enemy without his Aura around him, the colour of its rightmost shaded fragment shall change with each hit, from blue to yellow to red, before becoming unshaded) is displayed in the top-left corner of the screen, with his Kanji name in red above it, while that of the major enemies (which can be between twelve and eighteen fragments long) is displayed in the top-right corner (however, the major enemies' Kanji names will only be displayed above it in yellow while Kinton is fighting one of them). The coup's leaders will also speak Kanji/Hiragana texts to Kinton by default - however, if the arcade operator has set the "Bosses' Messages" dip switch to "Off", the leaders shall not speak these texts. Furthermore, if Kinton should run out of energy and you wish to continue, you shall have ten seconds to insert another coin into the cabinet, and press the Start Button again; however, the "Allow Continue" dip switch is set to "5 Times" (rather than "Always") by default, so unless the arcade operator has set it to "Always", your run shall automatically terminate if Kinton should run out of energy a seventh time.
