They drill. They scout. They're fast! The Vehicles are there to make your life easier.

General Information[edit]

  • Dependence - Some building must be constructed BEFORE you can try summoning vehicles. For example: both the Teleport Pad and the Support Station are needed to be constructed before any Vehicle could be summoned. To view a specific Vehicle dependency, go to the corresponding Vehicle Menu and point at it with your mouse for a while.
  • Energy Crystals - Vehicle summon is immidiate, but it requires several ECs. If you do not have the required number, the vehicle would be at hold until you gather them.
  • Drivers, Sailors and Pilots - There are 3 kinds of vehicles in LRR: land-based, water-based and air-based. Each of them require a trained driver, sailor or pilot respectively.
  • Upgrades - Most of the Vehicles can get upgraded in some of 4 categories: Scanner, Engine, Drill and Cargo Space. This requires an Upgrade Station. Scanner upgrade will give the Vehicle scanning ability, which means it could tell what is behind walls near it. Engine upgrade will enhance the Vehicle's speed. Drill upgrade will enhance the Vehicle drill power, which will cause drilling to take less time.

Small Vehicles[edit]

Hover Scout[edit]

The hover scout is great for high speed scouting and moving, since it hovers, it can move across rubble with ease.

  • Training - Pilot
  • Dependency - Tool Shop (UP1) + Teleport Pad (UP1) + Power Station (UP1) + Support Station
  • Power - 1 EC
  • Upgrades - Engine: 10 Ore. Scanner: 5 Ore.

Small Digger[edit]

The small digger is a good choice at the beginning of a mission. It cuts faster then a Rock Raider and it can even cut through Hard Rock (even though it takes forever).

  • Training - Driver
  • Dependency - Tool Shop (UP1) + Teleport Pad (UP1) + Power Station (UP1) + Support Station
  • Power - 1 EC
  • Upgrades - Engine: 10 Ore. Driller: 10 Ore. Scanner: 5 Ore.

Small Transport Truck[edit]

The small transport truck is a very effective Vehicle at the beginning of a mission. It can collect EC and Ore over rubble very quickly. It is also usable at transferring materials at construction sites.

  • Training - Driver
  • Dependency - Tool Shop (UP1) + Teleport Pad (UP1) + Power Station (UP1) + Support Station
  • Power - 2 ECs
  • Upgrades - Engine: 10 Ore. Scanner: 5 Ore. Cargo Space: 5 Ore.

Small Mobile Laser Cutter[edit]

  • Training - Driver
  • Dependency - Tool Store (UP1) + Teleport Pad (UP2) + Power Station (UP1) + Support Station (UP1)
  • Power - 3 ECs
  • Upgrades - Drill: 10 Ore.

Rapid Rider[edit]

A basic water craft that can carry 1 Rock Raider and can carry 1 Ore or 1 Energy Crystal at a time.

  • Training - Sailor
  • Dependency - Tool Store (UP1) + Teleport Pad (UP1) + Power Station (UP1) + Docks
  • Power - 2 ECs
  • Upgrades - none

Tunnel Scout[edit]

A mini helicopter that can quickly cross over terrain. This is the only vehicle that can fly over lava.

  • Training - Pilot
  • Dependency - Tool Store (UP1) + Teleport Pad (UP2) + Power Station (UP1) + Support Station (UP1)
  • Power - 3 ECs
  • Upgrades - none

Large Vehicles[edit]

Loader Dozer[edit]

This bulldozer can sweep up rubble at a much faster pace than any rock raider.

  • Training - Driver
  • Dependency - Tool Store (UP1) + Teleport Pad (UP1) + Power Station (UP1) + Support Station (UP2) + Super Teleport
  • Power - 4 ECs
  • Upgrades - Engine: 20 Ore. Scanner: 5 Ore. Cargo: 5 Ore.

Granite Grinder[edit]

This vehicle is a two-legged walking digger with a single drill. While not as effective at drilling as the Chrome Crusher, it's much less expensive to make and can drill through loose rock at a rapid pace.

  • Training - Driver
  • Dependency - Tool Store (UP1) + Teleport Pad (UP1) + Power Station (UP1) + Support Station (UP2) + Super Teleport (UP1)
  • Power - 3 ECs
  • Upgrades - Engine: 20 Ore. Drill: 20 Ore. Scanner: 5 Ore.

Large Mobile Laser Cutter[edit]

Known to some as the 'tank', this is a low-slung, six-wheeled piece of machinery with twin lasers that have a range of up to seven tiles. It can clear dirt and loose rock with relative ease, as well as being able to deal with monsters. A shot from this beast will send a monster flying.

  • Training - Driver
  • Dependency - Tool Store (UP1) + Teleport Pad (UP1) + Power Station (UP1) + Support Station (UP2) + Super Teleport (UP1)
  • Power - 4 ECs
  • Upgrades - Engine: 10 Ore. Drill: 15 Ore.

Chrome Crusher[edit]

This mechanical monstrosity is vital to the success of most missions. It carries everything except a cargo hold and a scanner (but if you have a geologist at the wheel, it's almost as good). It can drill through any walls in less than a second and even has a laser turret mounted on the top. The only downside to this vehicle is it's poor speed. Even with an engine upgrade, it still travels quite slowly.

  • Training - Driver
  • Dependency - Tool Store (UP1) + Teleport Pad (UP1) + Power Station (UP1) + Support Station (UP2) + Super Teleport (UP1)
  • Power - 5 ECs
  • Upgrades - Engine: 10 Ore. Drill: 15 Ore.

Cargo Carrier[edit]

This ferry can pick up vehicles and transport them across expanses of water.

  • Training - Sailor
  • Dependency - Tool Store (UP1) + Teleport Pad (UP1) + Docks + Power Station (UP1) + Support Station (UP2) + Super Teleport (UP1)
  • Power - 4 ECs
  • Upgrades - none
